What people forget it there was no social media back then. Actors got flak, hate mail, death threats all the time, you just didn't know about it. Go read some of the autobiographies of some of these actors. Not everyone was cool with what they were doing, even back then.
I grew up watching the first three. Wore them out on vhs. Been waiting forever for this!
Beverly Hills cop franchise and bad boys franchise are under the same production company. It can probably happen.
That's probably the only one that could work "realistically" with the actors involved (aka age and physical limitations at this point etc.) I've seen other people suggest just throw the Lethal Weapon duo in also, and that could work but their ages would preclude any action (maybe Mel Gibson could do a scene, def. not Danny Glover at his age etc.) really. So it'd just be for comedy and acting chops at that point.
I don't care how good this movie is, I can't WAIT for it even if it sucks ass.
Axel meeting Mike and Marcus in a prisoner exchange from Detroit to Miami would be great.
Im still wondering if we are getting old school Eddie Murphy or newer version with no swearing and clean humor. Will watch either way but LOVED old school Eddie so much and i know he can't go fully back to the wat ye was but you see glimpses and it seems forced a little. Hopefully it feeel more natural when watching the whole movie

The next film We need...LETHAL WEAPONS, featuring Riggs' Son as a Profiler, and Murtaugh's Grandson as a Detective. A crime that has a connection to cases that Martin and Roger worked on, decades ago, requires all 4 (of course, featuring Lorna, Leo, and Detective Butters) to collaborate on solving. Chaos, old wounds, villains, and new and old revelations ensue. You're welcome, Warner Bros. Not sure about that. I loved the original movies but now I only see very old people trying to act like way younger versions of them that came from a completely different time. He’s even wearing the same jacket that kinda became iconic for the 80s. I have the same feelings about Bad Boys but with this you gotta remember that even Will Smith was just a newcomer when this series was already over.
