This episode was fun, I really liked seeing Friede and Captain Pikachu. While we have seen Captain Pikachu battle before, but for me personally those times Captain Pikachu was just saving Liko and Roy or doing the finishing move. While this episode it focused on Captain Pikachu’s battling and Roy and Liko were in the background.
I liked how this episode really differentiate Captain Pikachu with the iconic Ash’s Pikachu. While they are both POWERFUL, and I would really be interested in a Captain Pikachu Vs Ash’s Pikachu fight or at least them meeting.
While I understand some of your points, this episode really highlighted Captain’s Pikachu
I want more school assignment base episodes. Episode 1 Liko was attending Indigo Academy but ever since Episode 3 Liko was a member of Raising Volt Tackle, while I understand a whole epsiode in the school may not be fun. But episodes based on assignments given and using it as an opportunity to explore and go in depth in each member’s personality and past.
Cap hating being called cute actually explains a lot. Maybe his cool, tough guy act is him overcompensating.
Okay, this episode caught me by surprise. This is the kind of filler episode that I like! Sure, it's nothing out of the ordinary but I love the silly comedy moments and it showed us how good Friede is at understanding and commanding Pokemon that aren't even his. At least it will keep us entertained until the next actual episode of the Six Heroes' plot.
Also, when Friede mentioned they're going to "rescue a lost Pokemon" I immediately thought about Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - I don't know why, guess I just like that series and it wouldn't be out of place for the Rising Voltacklers to take on such rescue missions every once in a while.

I was trying to speak at a speed that would get this video as close to 8 minutes and zero seconds as possible lol, so I probably did speak at about 1.5x

I also give this ep a 6/10. Apart from cap's funny allergy and the bramblin line's debut, this episode was really mid! Cap is so anti-pikachu, he doesn't know or he doesn't care that he's the face of the franchise and I like that a lot.

I just caught up on Pokemon yesterday. Excited to see what Emothio does next now that he can terastilize. I miss battling in the Pokemon anime. I feel like they’re short lived these days. So many Ash and Pikachu vibes in this episode too tho. The way Pikachu jumped over them rock blasts and that high 5 mang lol. I definitely need more action. That little Rayquaza & Terapagos spat was nothing lol. I can’t wait till Terapatagos has full power mang. Mmhmm
