I’ve been watching for 6 months now and I am still blown away at how jay and nick never fail to upload perfectly according to the schedule Monday, Wednesday and Friday at around 11 ‘o’ clock👍 it’s great cause it means I can plan my day to watch the new video 😂
Superb idea - love the idea of a mechanical garden. Would be great alongside the Wolsung range as well and/or some of that terrain that would find its way into Malifaux
I love this! For the gardens I think that if I were to paint them similarly I would add coppers for the plants (and a woody feel), and then use that verdigris on the 'leaf' areas to give that plant like feel.
I usually love the board builds, and modularity is genius but i have a few issues with it. Its callled the train station, but there are no platforms or trains, only the pseudo-rails that look more akin to tramway rails. The metal gardens are a sick idea, and the models look great, but could have used more different tones then just silver. Good job showing off the drybrushing, really got me to reconsider it
Eons, I'm really excited to watch you paint the minis from other than games workshop. I only play 40k right now, but I'm interested in other models and games.
I have heard about the moisturized dry brushing. I haven't done too much of it, but this video makes me want to try it out some more. Thanks for putting this together 😁
At 2:17 I think that looks like a perfect terrain for Malif... "But in the dark and twisted world of Malifaux there is no sign what says KEEP OFF." Oh. Okay then. :D
I watched from Artis Opus. But I didn't really listen and wasn't using drybrush that often. You are easy to listen to and motivating. Now I tried dry brushing damp. It worked quite well. but now my five new possessed look different (or better?) then the others. I might figure out to do dry brushing in a way to get what I want, some day. like you want to. or not. cause I also learned from you to take things lightly. thanks
The building especially turned out great, the bricks and copper looks spot on and done way quicker than careful layering. selfishly I want it suggest making terrain set in a giant industrial hangar with lots of suspended walkways and cranes so I can scale it down to fit with my gundams
You guys finally got me! Looks like my name is going on a Black Templar as well! This is going to look so good with my steam punk Greenstuffworld roller bases on Nekima's crew!!
Ok this is super cool and really nicely done loving the terrain builds. The terrain builds look like allot of time and work so thanks for all the effort put i to these vids.
thats cool as buggery. im not a gamer, i simply enjoy painting the fantasy models and scenery, but im always fascinated at the different techniques between Mini modelling, and scale modelling
This terrain is gorgeous! I really really really want these stls like now to print them for a table to use in my tournaments ... likely not enough time for the one next week, but Q3's tournament could really use a "train station" table ... let alone the one I'll be hosting at a convention in November....
This was an interesting one. Maybe even one of your best terrain videos to date. As much as I would have liked something Conquest themed, this is a great alternative. Also, once "Other Games April" is finished and you go back to the Grimdark Future, I want that Space Elf themed board.
You have to make a locomotive or carriage for those pieces. Imagine the fun you could have with that, especially if you added light and sound (which is rather readily available in the model railway [railroad] hobby). Would probably make an interesting video on its own I think.
I just watched an old video of you. In the end there were community showings of a before and after of the models. I really liked the idea and even took some screenshots to get inspired. Could you being that back?
So get the drybrush ready to what we’d normally do, then dab in the new moisture? Im going to need to try this because I do have some models that look “ok” and others that clearly say “chalky”.
Moisten first, then put the paint onto the brush. Here is a tutorial from the guy who does the drybrush set that Jay is using: ruclips.net/video/kxuY2NXeI2M/видео.html
It would be neat to see you guys do a board that's a series of platforms suspended over a chasm. Something like a star shipyard or bridges between two hive spires the the people of the have turned into a bazaar
Damn it Jay. I've really been trying to work my way through printing my free model backlog but you've made break that. Off to your Patreon it is... Metalmurderplants are just too cool to pass up
I used to scoff at drybrushing especially when you see how people usually do slapchop where it looks all chalky but byrons drybrushing ... oh man so smooth. I even bought two brushes and the pad from them but im kind of afraid to use em before i can properly care for them.
Ok, need to go buy some filament, hope I can get my old snapmaker still perform. Really like the flowerbeds :D Also need to head towards patreon I guess.
There's probably an elite cabal of painters who knew about the damp drybrush tech for centuries, but did the secret finally leak out at Adepticon or what? I've seen a lot of people share this tip recently!
Wait wait wait, isn’t all Merican gasoline infused magic? That’s what I was taught in public school. The magic makes it more gooder than foreign Dino juice.
Train station ? No, PAIN STATION !!!
I’ve been watching for 6 months now and I am still blown away at how jay and nick never fail to upload perfectly according to the schedule Monday, Wednesday and Friday at around 11 ‘o’ clock👍 it’s great cause it means I can plan my day to watch the new video 😂
One thing I’d suggest is painting the death bushes green except for the edges and tips. It would keep the death, but it would make it more arboreal.
All the plant puns then just “the grinder”. I love it
I’m always taken aback by how cool the terrain sets are. Great job all!
Terrian and table looks great
Wow, that terrain set is SUPER unique and very cool!!!!! Kudos to all the artists and designers!!!
Multiple cameras?! What in the art attack is that? I like it
Now this is a terrain set, some great creativity here. Also appreciate that you can just use a lot of this like scatter terrain for whatever
Superb idea - love the idea of a mechanical garden. Would be great alongside the Wolsung range as well and/or some of that terrain that would find its way into Malifaux

I think it's amazing that EOB have managed to make liquorice sentient to work with them on these cool kits!
I was very excited to see what you did with this. I was not disappointed
Eons, I'm really excited to watch you paint the minis from other than games workshop. I only play 40k right now, but I'm interested in other models and games.
Same here, Jays enthusiasm is really contagiuos ^^
Nowadays you are spoiled for choice, have fun!
I have heard about the moisturized dry brushing. I haven't done too much of it, but this video makes me want to try it out some more. Thanks for putting this together 😁
The mechanical plants are so cool. Another great video
IMO your landscaping vids are your best work and the best I‘ve seen so far
Those are some beautiful Brahmin and Securitrons.
Foam in a bottle cap is a great idea too!
At 2:17 I think that looks like a perfect terrain for Malif... "But in the dark and twisted world of Malifaux there is no sign what says KEEP OFF."

Love all your content especially the Malifaux stuff! Definitely subscribing for the terrain. Would love to see even more wonderful sets!
Nice! Most dependable youtuber!
So much good idea to quickly paint terrain. Thanks !!!
That is awesome terrain! Malifaux is a very cool game!
I feel like that TRAIN station is missing something but cant put my finger on it.
The building especially turned out great, the bricks and copper looks spot on and done way quicker than careful layering.
selfishly I want it suggest making terrain set in a giant industrial hangar with lots of suspended walkways and cranes so I can scale it down to fit with my gundams
Your terrain looks very, very good. Thanks for sharing this video with us, Jay. Keep up the great work you do.
You could call the bear-trap a "venus bear-trap" to keep in line with the plant puns
You guys finally got me! Looks like my name is going on a Black Templar as well! This is going to look so good with my steam punk Greenstuffworld roller bases on Nekima's crew!!
Love starting 3-2 morning a week with EoB. Still waiting for a studio tour!
The mechanical garden is very cool. Can we see somewhere pics of all the files that are included in the terrain pack ?
Yes! Here! www.patreon.com/posts/april-2023-train-80838292
I absolutely LOVE the caverns
It feels like the Arcanists designed that terrain. I love it.
Ok this is super cool and really nicely done loving the terrain builds. The terrain builds look like allot of time and work so thanks for all the effort put i to these vids.
Just totally AWESOME.
10:59 Oh that's super easy! Those are the Wet Pallete Bandits!
This really is amazing. I'm actually amazed by it and inspired as well. Woww!
If there's ANY way to do ANYTHING wrong, I will find it. So, yes. Yes, I am drybrushing wrong.
JAY! OTHER GAME APRIL IS A GREAT IDEA! Omigosh, I can't wait to see some of that dirty down moss too you recently picked up.
Very nice work, it turned out great.
We are all love Death Hedge
Love the terrain love the music awesome video. 😊
OKAY where can we download those posters?
Wow. Nice terrain set. Now I’m curious
Nice, really amazing guys!
thats cool as buggery. im not a gamer, i simply enjoy painting the fantasy models and scenery, but im always fascinated at the different techniques between Mini modelling, and scale modelling
Why that’s Nasty Nick and Two eyed Jay on them there wanted posters!! Tarnation!! Thanks gents! Fantastic as always!!
Looks great!

You get ONE nice brush and suddenly EVERYTHING YOU'VE EVER DONE IS WRONGGGGG
‘The terrain made me lose!’, says the guy who builds all the terrain 😂
Coolest terrain yet!
Jay just casually dropping the fact that he has a bounty of $1000. Will he ever pay for his crimes?!
This was an interesting one. Maybe even one of your best terrain videos to date. As much as I would have liked something Conquest themed, this is a great alternative.
Also, once "Other Games April" is finished and you go back to the Grimdark Future, I want that Space Elf themed board.
Amazing!! Looks so good!
Looks like it could also be used for Necromunda and warcry!?
of course!!!
Great stuff friend 👏 👍

Looks great
I just watched an old video of you. In the end there were community showings of a before and after of the models. I really liked the idea and even took some screenshots to get inspired. Could you being that back?
Thats freakin awesome.
Sweet train terrain
whose twisted mind came up with the Garden of Death?
Excellent demonstration! These models are wonderful as well. May I ask what sort of resin printer you used to print them?
Malifaux is such an atmospheric game
The mechanical gardens are absolutely magnificent (& really good world-building/immersion)!! Great video. - P.S. *Jay & Nick are wanted criminals* 💖
That's a sweet board
So get the drybrush ready to what we’d normally do, then dab in the new moisture? Im going to need to try this because I do have some models that look “ok” and others that clearly say “chalky”.

I love this!!
Super shocked you didn't make an outdoor stage for your Malifaux magic girls
Ok printing and painting that car ASAP. What mat is that that you used???
we got it on amazon, its called "3' x 3' Mouse Pad Rubber Battle Mat: Zolotograd + Bag" its a very wyrd mat (pun intended)
Sweet, thank you!
Love this style of terrain. If I ever get an fdm you'd be the first place I'd subscribe to
Could do magnets to make sure those tracks stay perfectly in line brother
It would be neat to see you guys do a board that's a series of platforms suspended over a chasm. Something like a star shipyard or bridges between two hive spires the the people of the have turned into a bazaar
Damn it Jay. I've really been trying to work my way through printing my free model backlog but you've made break that. Off to your Patreon it is... Metalmurderplants are just too cool to pass up
Magenta Jay strikes again
Awesome stuff
Pretty sure you won’t reach the Other Side if you’re rolling 6s 😊
Gonna have to cheat that flip to get there!
You should have asked him for some AOS tips he's pretty good
super duper cool!
I used to scoff at drybrushing especially when you see how people usually do slapchop where it looks all chalky but byrons drybrushing ... oh man so smooth.
I even bought two brushes and the pad from them but im kind of afraid to use em before i can properly care for them.
“Roll a 6”…?!? How are you going to do that in Malifaux 😂😂😂
I never been lured by your sets before, but damn this is amazing... you got a patreon, at least for a month :D
Dangerous train roll 2 dice, 10 or over dead, 8 or 9, thrown random 6 inch
Ok, need to go buy some filament, hope I can get my old snapmaker still perform. Really like the flowerbeds :D Also need to head towards patreon I guess.
As soon as I saw that portal, I knew Jay was gonna paint it magenta! Great video y'all - loved the dry brushing tips.
Paint the flicking too. Will tie with the rest of the model better.
There's probably an elite cabal of painters who knew about the damp drybrush tech for centuries, but did the secret finally leak out at Adepticon or what? I've seen a lot of people share this tip recently!
This would be awesome terrain for Marvel Crisis Protocol.
I really need to buy some malifaux
Kinda wish there was a new name for that technique because it isn't really drybrushing at all.
Are the old boards still available on the patreon? I kinda want to get that octarius proxy?
Will previous months' terrain packs always be available??
You can always purchase them after the fact but they will be more expensive! Joining the patreon also gets you discounts on old packs!
Do you support. STLs of older/OOP minis?
Dumb question but where did you find the foam for the dry brushing wet foam setup?
Wait wait wait, isn’t all Merican gasoline infused magic? That’s what I was taught in public school. The magic makes it more gooder than foreign Dino juice.
You mixed up “gooder” with “cheaper”. Quality is the same.
@@timunderbakke8756 😂 you are correct, my bad.
This is what I am doing, A completely modular 'monte cassino'/trench board.
can you buy this terrain set besides the patreon , i do not own a 3d printer, but i love this terrain , usefull in a lot of games
Missed opportunity to put your nemesis Sean on a wanted poster.
Make the train for it
