Not sure limiting yourself to 1 per army is a good idea. Some armies have quite a few centerpiece models (and honestly Hight Elves or however they call themselves now have amazing cow mountain that is both bigger and better looking than Teclis). Plus Abominations seems less of a centerpiece than Bell or Verminlord
I have to say I like the new Archaon model, but I'm still in love with the old model. There is something indescribable about having the Everchosen of Chaos being this almost regular-size badass warrior with a giant sword, riding a demonic horse. Now *that* was epic.

The Lore for the Ork Maw Krusha is great. There i no logical explanation why a big fat brute like this can fly with those relative tiny wings, so there is this story that Maw Krushas in fact cannot fly but no one is brave enough to tell them, gravity itself is afraid of them so they let it pass.
I'm deeply disappointed thst you didn't talk about the Stormcast Dragons or the Celestant Prime in the last video. Also, the Mangler Squigs for Gloomspite Gitz in this video.
your opinion on archaon is basically how i feel about the vast majority of gw's offerings over the past decade... Technically brilliant, but I don't care.
Honestly the old metal Archaon on Horseback is so much nicer imo, so much more focus on a badass grounded hero instead of just going big for the sake of it
And also when the twins are noticeably smaller (base ans size) and cheaper on $ and point factor... Personally if picking only 1 I'd take Glutos for show and most ppl would be happy. Same with Skaven, Abomination is great, but Verminlord is THE monster you want to have first! So many horn options in one model!
Dankhold Trogboss is an 11/10 for me. Was fairly easy to build and a TON of fun to paint. Kinda the perfect balance of small details and easy to reach, nothing really felt tedious or needlessly difficult.
I'm currently in the middle of converting Archaons mount as a bigger badass Bloodthirster, just the three heads to one big Bloodthirster head to go then maybe some additional tweaks here and there, front claws were changed and he's brandishing a huge axe.
Back when the Archaon model came, Slaanesh was bound in a shadow world by Teclis and his buddies where they tried to extract Souls out of him so he wasnt able to sent his greater demons. All the Heads on Archons mount are the demonic essence of Demon Champiosn sent by their Gods to slay Archaon...didnt work out well. His mount absorbed their essence and mutated to what it is now. No Slaanesh to sent Demons, no head.
Love me some Beastclaw Raiders. Easy to collect, Easy to build, great chance to work on icy effects...just don't look at the very silly, very tiny legs on the back of the mounts.
I think you should collect some viewer input on the socials - there's plenty of cool centrepiece models that got entirely overlooked and I think you'd have a good time with them!

Yeah… the one model a range is a bit of a miss, just the Slaanesh section proves that since half the discussion was wanting to talk about a different Slaanesh model. Also look at the new Hedonites of Slaanesh range, cause you mentioned a lot of pretty bad models as reasons for not liking Slaanesh

Honestly archaon is one of them looking at him isnt the same as owning him. I looked at him loads and im like ye hes what ever, got him for my slaves army and its totally a different feeling owning him and how overwhelming his presence is over the army.

They did Arkhan there, which is taller than Katakros, but Katakros is much more of a centerpiece.

I think calling Dexcessa the Slaanesh centerpiece is pretty generous when we have things like the Keeper of Secrets...

In AOS lore Slaanesh is in prison. You could model on the spare head from the Ru Paul peacock giant.
