    I personally find the inconsistencies, not saying you’re inconsistent, but I find them super comforting. I feel like I and a lot of other people tend to beat ourselves up for not having the perfect habits and routine and not always being on top of everything. It’s really inspiring to see you do 75 hard, but also knowing that you’re not perfect either, and some days are harder than others. Along with the spending thing, talking about how you wanna be better, but then the next clip literally saying you went shopping with Hayden. It just feels genuine and realistic to how life is. And just because you make a statement about something doesn’t mean it’s always going to be true or how your life will be from here on out. I don’t know if that makes any sense, but just know I really appreciate what you’re doing here and normalizing being a normal human being online who needs to save money and who can’t always be perfect and who says things with the best intentions at the time but doesn’t always follow through on them because that it just life ya know. Anyway, sorry for going off, I love your channel and I can’t wait for the next one🩷

      i appreciate that! i can definitely see it from that commenter's POV tho. the economy is awful and having the ability to haul things while also complaining about saving money can be out of touch. and more generally.. i think people want to watch people who are consistent to an extent. like people subscribe to channels because they like something about that person, usually their interests. and if interests change it can be annoying or frustrating as a viewer. but would be less frustrating IRL if it were a friend. i guess what i'm saying is i see it from all angles, but you're right that people are inconsistent, it's what makes us human :) and i am especially appreciative when people can appreciate the nuance :)

      @@chandlerainsleyvlogs yes I agree for sure and I definitely see where the other commenter was coming from and I do know that people come to RUclips for consistency. But ya I just wanted to say I appreciate your channel and I appreciate people who aren’t afraid to be a person online and I just am at a point where everything online feels and is so fake and your vlogs are just refreshing! I def get it though, I’ve seen the hypocrisy with others where they talk about saving and then constantly do hauls and it’s bothered me in the past and I really appreciate your acknowledgment and being able to see all the different POVs

    Girl, completely understand the spending situation. With working from home its soo easy to hyper fixate on ways to improve your environment and spend to make it that way.

    Personally, I felt so seen by your comments on shopping. I have definitely gone through periods where I was shopping out of boredom or to feel better. I wish I’d gotten a handle on it before it did really affect my finances, but part of me also feels like I never would have really learned if I didn’t end up in this position (which is to say not completely screwed, but just not even close where I’d like to be at all financially to really be comfortable). So good on you for taking control of it now, wish I had when I had the chance.

    I noticed when I moved to Austin from Canada that WAY more people go shopping/out to restaurants as a way to pass time. I thought it was just a spending cultural thing.. until I experienced the May-October heat. Yes we go out and do things in the early morning, but then the rest of the day you are stuck inside. So if you want to get out of the house, well your options are more limited here and often involve spending. I found you have to be much more proactive about scheduling activities to not fall into the shopping due to boredom trap! I wonder if you feel the same way or not being a texas native.
    Best of luck with your no-buy!!

    Weightlifting has been everything for me. For years cardio was not my thing and I could never stick with it. Finally tried lifting through a friend about 1.5 years ago and never looked back. I now lift 4 times a day with a trainer and its been incredible for me so much that its allowed me to get stronger when I do cardio and now I also run 1-2x a week. Never thought that could be me but lifting really helped that too.

    Do you plan to continue to be somewhat strict with being on a calorie deficit after your 75 hard journey? Or just more of a conscious thought whenever you’re about to eat? Kinda like I ate a lot today but I don’t plan on doing anything to work off the excess calories…or hmm I should go for a 30 min walk to burn some of it off? It seems like a lot after the journey to continue to be meticulous about it, unless you thoroughly enjoy it! 💕

    • @chandlerainsleyvlogs
      @chandlerainsleyvlogs  2 месяца назад +2

      when you calculate a deficit it should include your activity levels! so i am between light and moderate activity levels, i pick a number between the two and eat that everyday. keeps it simple. we can’t accurately calculate how many calories burned in a workout so it isnt wise to “add back” calories

    • @chandlerainsleyvlogs

    I just canceled my factor subscription 😣 I'm not as disciplined as you and I could never force myself to eat the icky sides, plus the calories and sodium are pretty high on some of the meals. Delivery in my area (Florida) wasn't great and I worried about the safety of the meals. I do, however, love the Ghost protein powders and add them to my iced coffee and yogurt. What a difference!

    I don’t know if you’re familiar with Notion but I made a calorie tracker (from this video ruclips.net/video/uS4ecI-lQds/видео.htmlsi=qxZ75776m1MGQfw1). It’s so nice to have the foods I typically eat already programmed in and just pick them, enter the amount I ate, and have it calculate everything for me. I use Notion as a whole digital planner for reading, appointments, and basically everything. I don’t know if it’d be worth the trouble if you’re not going to use it for anything else. Looking at all of the template options is a fun rabbit hole to go down.
