eh i've just done more in the past. running a youtube channel where i posted more often than i do now + had a 9-5 job. hard not to compare to back then. but my life has also changed a lot (for the better).
I don't get lazy millennial from you at ALL haha! You come across as self-motivated, having a healthy and active approach to goals and mental health and self-growth and relationships, great cat mom, really freaking good at interior decorating and generally seeming put-together (both appearance and in life in general), etc. to me. Never even considered your personal style much because your overall personallity/vibe comes across so consistently and strongly if that makes any sense at all lol. Not trying to bash finding your personal style ofc, it's so fun! Definitely agree with the people saying preppy
I can relate so much to your "no aesthetic" portion of your vlog, I love clothes but felt like I was just wearing whatever I wanted but not really paying attention to what I really wanted from my aesthetic. Now that I have more means to experiment, I've been on a style journey and it has been so fun!! And it might seem dumb but I love externalizing who I am on the inside to my clothes and it just makes me feel a little more confident in who I am as a person, helps me understand myself more as a person and just being excited to wear stuff that I'm excited about daily is very rewarding so all that to say, I'm excited for your style journey 😂
I love when you Hayden are in the car it’s just so funny watching the both of you & it killed me when he said “cheugest” 😂 I totally resonate with you & the no aesthetic. I love so many different styles & it’s so hard! I’m excited to go on this journey with you haha it’s actually so ironic you addressed the thumbnails because I feel like I’ve noticed I really liked the thumbnails you’ve posted last week & this week & they have been on my mind like throughout my day or week I’m like “oh I still have that video to watch!” Bc I remember the thumbnails.
I find the whole opening bit about not knowing your own vibe and feeling like you don't really know who you are, like, aesthetically sooooo relatable. It's something I'm working on right now too but it's honestly strangely hard! And such a good insight about not dressing for what we do so being sort of directionless in that regard.
Haden saying he ignores his hunger cues when he's mid-task made me wonder if he had ADHD, so the switch to talking about fidget toys made sense to me! I have the same issue as Haden when it comes to delaying eating; for me at least, I think it's due to ADHD making it harder for us to switch tasks (ie. even when my hunger cues are causing me discomfort, I really struggle to switch from the task I'm currently doing). Also, one of the reasons fidgeting is so common in people with ADHD is because it improves our ability to focus. I'm a very fidgety person, but I definitely relate re: realising the 'less obvious ways' I fidget. I imagine the 'less obvious' fidgets are partly a result of masking? When I'm at home, for example, I shake my leg a lot, but that's not something I can do at a meeting, so I tend to twist my pen or play with my fingers. Hope you're both finding the fidget toys helpful! :)
You need a brand book/brand bible!! Way easier said than done but they can be as specific or general as needed. It’s easiest to start with color palettes from images/pieces you feel aligned with and build up from there on a digital platform (illustrator/canva/etc.)
Fidgets- I also do the thumb nail over/under the other nails, I also twist my fingers, the one I’m working on stopping is biting the inside of my lips because that shit hurts but when I notice I’m doing it it’s because my mental health is bad bad
i'm very pro thrifting, i did it a lot in college when i had access to thrift stores. where i live now, the only place to thrift is goodwill. i do occasionally buy secondhand stuff online tho (like the tee i'm wearing in the thumbnail for this vid).
Hahaha my husband and I have the same clutter argument. I love that Hayden doesn’t see the vacuum parts as a thing to get put away 😂 It’s the same thing as not putting away the scissors. They live in the vacuum like the scissors live in the drawer (or wherever yours live) 😅
Me to Hayden! I stop bitting my nails but now I pick on my cuticles. It seems like it just a transference situation but it does suck. I can’t have any polish or pretty nails ever and it is so sad
My problem is that I do not currently have the means to channel my own vibe/aesthetic/style/whatsuch the way I would like to-but also that, even if I were to have a youtube "channel"/"brand" or something, I wouldn't actually want to just be one consistent thing same-same all the time because I like such a wide/eclectic variety of things! I liked being able to not be tied down by molding myself into any one particular box or another and just be myself however I want whenever I want. ^-^ ((Except, r/n I can't actually even do that, so I just make do settling with what I do have.-_,-))
Okay, might be a silly question, but I am a newer subscriber. Is your one kitty (Binky I believe is the name?) deaf? Just curious. You have such pretty kitties! I wanted ragdolls (I believe I heard you call them ragdolls before?) so badly but ended up having my himalayan as my first cat for 17 years. They're both just stunning breeds - she just wasn't as personable lol everything had to be on her terms and she would attack my ankles as sneak attacks 😅 pretty sure she added to why I have anxiety.
yep binky is deaf :) and yep i have 4 ragdoll boys! they're super sweet, partially the breed and partially because they're boys. i ADORE female cats, just a different vibe
@@chandlerainsleyvlogs Ahhh and he's so cute 🥰 I wonder if he can feel your voice's vibrations though, so even though he can't hear it he may be able to feel it? My mom kind of raised me with the belief male animals are harder to own especially with male cats marking things, but everyone I know who has male cats says they're the sweetest.
Considering you tend to not like historical fiction that is about women suffering, it makes complete sense to me that you also dislike that trope when those women are black, lmao.
18:47 god i relate so hard-my fiance (ADHD/ASD) and i (PTSD/OCD) have a similar dynamic where we understand each other and it works well but sometimes we have opposite issues because he’s sensory-seeking and im sensory-avoiding 🫠
I feel like your vibe is the Texas version of the Hamptons and Martha’s Vineyard on vacay. Old money preppy. This is meant in the best way possible 🤍
Ooo I second this!!
how do you think you're lazy??? you do so much!!!! i guess that's the curse of "lazy" that everyone always feels like they're never doing enough

totally agree! i used to be so into fashion, especially in high school. but i've been slacking lately and wanna get back to it :)
"call veronica roth, we're divergent" lmaooo

YES , We need more lauded/celebrated stories of BIPOC _JOY_ not only BIPOC suffering! 💖💜💖

I love these mild existential crises talks, cuz that’s how my brain works 😭😭😭
In terms of style you’ve always given off Blair Waldorf vibes to me❤️

Went back to see the beginning of your 75 hard story, only 7 minutes in and you’ve got me lol-ing 👏 your identity is definitely part funny queen 👸🏻
so excited to follow along on your 75 hard journey! 🎉

i’ve done that in the past! i just am not sure where to begin this time… too many options
You're the first person I've seen who fidgets the same way I do! I finally feel so validated lol
I just wanna say your hair looks so pretty in the last clip 😍
omg chandler you're looking so cutie lately! like the makeup and hair are GIVING

How do you feel about thrift shopping? There are a lot of good finds and even classic pieces like you mentioned
i'm very pro thrifting, i did it a lot in college when i had access to thrift stores. where i live now, the only place to thrift is goodwill. i do occasionally buy secondhand stuff online tho (like the tee i'm wearing in the thumbnail for this vid).
I shop American Eagle probably the most!

after about a week, his hands look SO much better (fidget toys seem to be helping)
chandler talking about fidgeting with her fingers as im doing the exact thing she’s describing as im watching this video ahahaha
I’m a lazy white millennial. I’ve just accepted it at this point 😆
I’m sending you love❤❤
re: fall candles - maybe something that Haden would enjoy more are Diptyque candles, especially Feu de Bois or Ambre 🤷♀
don’t get him started 😂 he loves diptyque
@@chandlerainsleyvlogs 😂 i didn't say nothing
you give me light and airy vibes. i think of creams, light bieges, and whites. somewhat preppy/it girl style. idk lol 🤪
‘Flooding down in the basement’
‘Polka-dot princess’
💀 😂
