I always have to stop mid-viewing to express my gratitude. This channel is extraordinarily good at explaining details in a way that you really understand and remember
I honestly didn't realize how fit he was until I was watching one vid with a lot of writing on the board. I rotated my screen so I could read it better and all I saw were huge pecs 😂😂😂
I feel like I just watched my favorite scene out of my favorite movie. Masterclass on clear concise teaching. So beautiful it almost made me cry. This guy is the guy to beat. Dr. Mike you are an inspiration.
Love all your lectures, big fan, one tiny request...when you are talking (and not pointing to the slides)... please can you move away from the diagrams so we can look at them better.
Hi! Can you please tell me what exactly +ve and -ve stand for? Does it mean "Gram positive" or "Gram negative", or can it be used solely as "positive" or "negative" for a smear? Thanks!
My perioral dermatits got resistent to Erythromycin, in the middle of healing process! Metrocreme 0.75% does not help from the start (or too slow that I gave it up). Can anyone give advice what should I do or try? I think it must be bacteria, because Erythromycin could stop it before. No fungus right!? Maybe Propionibacteria? I read these get resistance against Ery fast and they are resistent to Metronidazol. So it would make sense. But how to stop them now?
hello dr mike, i had a confusion? you said when we use antibiotics for killing gram(-ve) bacteria it releases endotoxins that can cause endotoxic shock. My question is? then how these bacteria's can be killed without causing any shock in our body? also i want to know about endotoxic shock what that really is and how is that caused ? thankyou.
they have cell wall in prokaryotes when it breaks, theyre in trouble unless im mistaken, only human cells have cholesterol, not bacteria stab a balloon what happens? the water inside splishes all over the tile floor

What does the ve stand for?
It's just a word ending, nothing more. Instead of "gram-positiVE" and "gram-negatiVE" you can write it in a shorter way as "-ve" and "+ve".
Exotoxins please
A "bacterium"
i dare you to find a more clearly explained video than this . we can bet
