shout out to this channel for helping me pass my microbiology class with an A. anything I didnt understand in class, I found on this channel and was able to understand it better
At 10:07 you meant “add 1 drop of hydrogen peroxide” not catalase. The catalase in the staph will cause the bubbles because it’s already there in the bacteria. Other than that, you are epic. Love the videos!
I hope my professor and most of them in youtube videos will come to the point like this and explain in easy way. God where was i, when i wasted my time on 2 hours videos. I really appreciated your help and saving my times
Best video I've watched all year. Informative, entertaining, life-saving, career-boosting, and hilarious. I couldn't for the life of me remember the catalase/coagulase nonsense, but your integrative approach wowed me. Also, that bit with the physics equation- you are a literal genius, doc.
I knew he'd bring up pressure and force but you exceeded my expectations, went all in ! PHYSICS IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, and now I don't regret being a medical student, you are so awesome Doc
Hey medicosis...You are the best Teacher of Microbiology I have ever seen.....Salute to you Sir....Huge respect...Keep Going....Please upload Same video on Gram Negative bacteria
I think when we want to know that , we add a drop of hydrogen peroxide solution NOT catalase solution ,because the staph bacteria have that catalase and will dissociate our hydrogen peroxide so We are going to see bubbles. Thank you Medicosis for your Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious videos 🤩🤩🌹

In the answer of the quesion of can you differentiate between staph and strept without using a microscope ? I think you means add a drop of H2O2 containing solution not catalase containing solution as the bacterium staphylococcus is the one which contains the ctalase enzyme
@Medicosis Perfectionalis sir plz release here in youtube all those vedios of antibiotics course that is paid there in your website Most of us cannot offord that fees It will be you great sampathy for us Thanks
10:04 Why wouldn't bubbles be created with strep? They do not contain catalase, but the solution added to the plate contains catalase. Wouldn't the catalase in the solution cause bubbles? BTW thanks for your lecures medicosis.
You mentioned at the staph aureus is beta hemolytic but according to the differences chart u drew isn’t hemolysis a feature of the strept series ? Idk am confused somebody help
at the start, it says gram positive bacteria do NOT produce endospores, but then later on it says they sometimes do, and it's gram negative bacteria that never do. Am I missing something? Great video though, thank you!
Hello medicosis, any chance you can sell the 'gram negative bacteria introduction' seperately from the antibiotic subscription? Maybe in a form of singular video on the website? Thank you so muchh 😊
Thank you so much! you are amazing! just what about spore forming bacteria? you mentioned that it will be discussed in further videos' but unfortunately I can not find them :(
I don't understand that experiment. Bacteria (staphylococci)already have catalase. You add solution containing catalase. Then you say that catalase will cause O2 release and bubbles. But what's the need to add catalase solution who already have catalase in their body. Please elaborate.
Hey, Medicosis Perfectionalis! Hope you’re good. I have a question, did you explain physiology of cardiovascular system? I couldn’t find this topic in physiology playlist. :(
Hello medicosis perfectionalis. I loved your videos and teaching style incredibly. Very effective and sensible. Please let us know if you have any discounts. I’m from India and we have the all time great 😅 ‘FMGE’ exam in 2 weeks. If we could clear the exam with your gracious support and discount 😄, we’ll buy your membership for NEET and USMLE. 💝💝💝💫💫🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼Thank you for making videos.
Tells people to shut up and shits on woke professors all while giving way more useful lectures than they ever did. This is what college should have been. lol

You’re correct!
No other channel can teach you medicine and physics this professionally at the same time.
