My textbook sais (aerobic*) bacteria do indeed use oxidative phosphorilation and the krebs cycle for energy, only difference is in bacteria it's all done in the cytoplasm. Checked on Google, it confirmed it, just wanted to point that out. Otherwise great video!
I agree, the status quo order of general,and then systemic microbiology is indeed a stupid order of teaching this. Made me hate myself too. But as always, you shall be the ladder which helps me climb out of the abyss of overwhelmed perfectionist confusion. One of these semesters I’ll come to the idea of using RUclips as a study tool before the end of the semester and the commencement of my exam session.
