I am blown away by the amount of detail that goes into planning your trips. No wonder your travel itineraries are so well balanced. Thanks for all the nuggets of gold you have thrown in this video Jamie. I will be applying these to my own travels. A part 2 of this topic discussing saving for holidays in more detail, best time/platforms to book flights, accomodation and anything else relevant would also be appreciated.
@@pandaexpress1319 aw thanks so much for the lovely comment!! Sounds great, definitely keen to film a part two in the future 😊 appreciate you watching!
I can relate to the excitement of planning part, plus I'm certain this has me remember my trips so much better. Years later I can recall where I've been, the name of the places I stopped by, in which order and how to get there which is pretty satisfying 😆
@@BenjaminJcqt yay glad you relate haha! That’s such a good point - I totally agree, usually my memory is questionable but planning definitely helps me remember so much of the holidays ☺️
omg i love the way you colour coded (and made the different categories a drop down list!) and i love the way you planned your China outfits ❤ nothing beats actually seeing the clothes on you irl! but it must have taken you super long to complete that? 😅
haha thanks so much!! appreciate your comment :') luckily it doesn't take me tooo long because i'm such an outfit repeater that i can often just look back on old photos bahah saves me time 😂
Interesting. Very detailed planning! It's great that planning is part of your trips! Coincidentally, I found this channel when I was planning my family's Australia trip a few years ago. These days, I use RUclips and Reddit a lot for vacation planning. My partner and I plan our vacations for the same reasons (excitement, rough budgeting, tickets) and take a similar albeit more casual approach. We create a shared Google Map and then add pins 📍of restaurants, parks, cafes, etc. that we want to hit up. And then, once we travel to ____, we'll usually decide each day which neighbourhood(s) we want to explore for the day and then use our Google Map to visit the 📍's in those neighbourhoods. We try (often unsuccessfully) to balance planned structure with unplanned serendipity. It's gotten more challenging with kids, but still doable and fun in new ways 🚸
Thanks Ed! Wow so happy you discovered my channel when planning. Thanks for sharing how you plan, I've been thinking about incorporating Google Map pins more when planning! Definitely sounds like a great way to approach exploring different neighbourhoods 😊
Hi Jamie happy Sunday night to you and I enjoy your channel and you are amazing supporter
