    Love the lanyard release design in the V2 Beta! I can see that becoming a fun thing to fidget with.

    • @LandmanEDC
      @LandmanEDC  2 месяца назад +1

      So normally I’d agree, but the tool is just so small it’s not really easy to fidget with. The lanyard release also requires two fingers, one on each side to release it. Which is good for stability and it not falling off, but bad for fidget factor. But thanks for watching and for your comment!

    If you like the Rough Ryder knife tool, you might like the A G Russell Steel Thumbnail. I've carried one on my keychain for years. Sandvik is a Swedish company that makes all sorts of mining and industrial gear. They also make steel. 14c28n is a steel they made as an exclusive for Kershaw originally. The formula started off as a razor blade steel - 13C26. Kershaw's blend increased the corrosion resistance and it's super tough. The carbides in it are very small. It doesn't keep an edge for that long, but it strops back easily, as you might guess from a razor blade steel. And it takes a really sharp edge because of those small carbides (again - as you might expect in a razor steel). My favorite sandwich is San Mai. ;-)

    My newest is a Foruly magnetic bit driver, made of 304 stainless steel, that attaches to several Leatherman models, using the tapered and beefy phillips post. Its solid, but costly at $29.99. Maybe you're aware of a less expensive model.

    Nice items I like the battery pack and prybar. Oh yeh and pinapple on pizza with anchovies. Do you prefer the wrench prybar or the E1 prybar? And why? Do you have a discount code for the ant design website?

    Sandvik is an engineering company from Sweden who work on heavy machinery and high quality tool steel. Swedish iron is world renowned and so is Sandvik, so whenever you see that name you know it’s both Swedish Iron made steel and Sandvik’s engineering of that steel.

    I really like tiny tools, but have a hard time justifying buying new ones as they overlap so much with other things. I'm still on the lookout for a good uk legal folding knife (not a multitool) if you have any suggestions.

    In a Ruike pocket knife, try holding it upside down and pressing the scissors with your thumb rather than squeezing it in your hand. They will cut better. 😊
