You guys just save my life. The tapping on my car was driving me crazy ever since I installed the air suspension. I wasn’t sure if she shop did something wrong or whatever. But I came to notice less and less tapping when I ride lower.
You should be able set you body lengths so you have no tapping whatsoever. If you have more threaded body available down in your lower mount, try to lengthen the overall assembly a little more.
This video came at a great time, I've definitely been noticing a sound in the front when I'm going through bumpy roads. I had a feeling it had something to do w the air struts. Looks like that must it, topping out...I def need to adjust my ride height.
Hey so I’m following the recommended psi and height for my gr86 on Bag Riders Super Lows. However I hear the rear topping out, if I fill the bag with more psi it doesn’t happen as often, any recommendations?
I see that we recommend 40PSI in the PDF manual. What are you testing it at when you said you're adding more? What does the ride quality feel like at your new pressure?
That is likely to be the sound of topping out, but it's okay if you're aired up temporarily to get over/into something. What is NOT okay is setting the car up to top out all the time.

For sure! Try dropping the pressure to see if that resolves it.

@@bagriders around 50psi the ride quality feels about the same, maybe a little bit more stiff
what if hear the noise when going into and out of a steep driveway/entrance? is it the same thing or a separate issue?
