How many miles are on your car? I just bought a 2013 EX-L with 67k miles, I traded in a 2016 Hyundai Sonata Limited, only b/c I commute 750 mi a week for work and just wanted a car that I knew would last! I’ve watched a lot of your videos and they have motivated me to make some updates!
I got about 148k and I honestly didn't maintain my car the first 100-120k because I just didn't know any better. I got it with 22k miles, and started doing more maintenance around 2020 when Cvd19 started. I wouldn't do much more than the standard oil change and brakes and she's still holding up great! 🤞 Nice! Yeah I have a good playlist built up for this car and still more videos to come!
Don't know if you get on here to check comments but I'm having the same indicator lights on my 2013 Accord and I watched the whole video and I totally get what you did with the throttle actuator and replacing the valve cover gasket but I'm a little confused... Did the other lights, the traction control and TPMS, have anything to do with the fix you did in this video or were those totally unrelated or what was the deal there? Sorry if I just missed it! I'm a girl who knows nothing about cars and I'm trying to navigate this whole indicator light situation 🤷
Hey man hopefully you see this message because I cant find the solution to my problem. I have a 2015 Honda Accord EX-L and I have a remote starter Called Viper. When I start it using the remote starter the car turns on regularly but then shuts off the on the green key light shows up on the dashboard. My car starts regularly when I regularly turn on the car with break and push start and doesn’t shut off at all.
@@thehash4101 That's interesting. I would imagine it has to do with the aftermarket set up. I would reference the Viper manual to troubleshoot that issue or call their customer support. I'm sure it's happened before so they should have an idea on what to do
I purchased a new throttle actuator going to start my car after finishing onstaling the fuel pump and fuel filter for 05 Mazda3 SP2.3. Been replacing old stuff electrical parts, at first when i bought this car in 2021 the lady never told me about the other bad stuff she kept it simple i just been driving since but in 2023 thats when the car started acting up ive done oil changes through out the years ive had it. The year 2023 man thats when i started replacing parts now 2024 around april hope i can get this car going fresh again havent deove it in a year it starts and all it was shaking mounts had got replaced still shaking thats when i went to the scanner and popped up a code P2103 (Throttle Actuator 'A' Control Motor Circuit High) i cleaned the throttle with throttle spray still car was still shaking i went ahead and bought a new throttle actuator going to gfinish the install for the fuel pump and fuel filter, and fuel injectors then start the car and see if anything changes
@Striker50_ yessir did everything today but the rain came in so had to cut the time short tomorrow is the big day I will definitely update you on any changes 💯
@Striker50_ this here the intake shutter valve actuator is the reason why my car won't stay on or when cranking on it starts rough idling bad like shaking 😅 😆 had to order a new one soon as it get here I will update this comment 😆. But I still had to do a change of fuel pump cause the last one that was on there boy I tell ya 🤮
@Striker50_ bruh tell me about it 😆 this one the last owner literally stuck electrical tape to seal the seal cap because it was cracked I'm like damn and then the corrosion around the gasket bruh 😆 🤣
I have a 2013 accord exl coupe but same age and everything. It's been doing it for a little now but was never consistent and only recently was really struggling to turn over and even accelerate
@@mitchryan5468 I replaced my spark plugs at 100k which is what is recommended. I might change the spark plugs again, im at 155K now. It will most likely be your throttle body however. Do you use a K&N engine air filter by chance?

@@elavation7890 Man the fuel filter on our Ford Ranger took me a longggg time to get off that thing was almost crazy glued on it seemed

My car literally started doing this the other day as I was leaving for work. Same lights and even fcw failed warning

@@mitchryan5468 interesting... How is your mileage? Have you changed the spark plugs? But yes definitely the throttle body can use a cleaning
