- First attempt, manual transmission, original factory clutch, road was a little bit uphill...I think this is not bad at all...what do you think? Thanks for watching! Please comment and subscribe, more videos are coming soon.
iv got tuned 1.8t but i love m54b30
Factory time would be 7,1 seconds for the sedan. Are those times measured by gps? Otherwise you can put another 0,2-0,3 seconds on it. But for this mileage it's ok.
Hi! Honestly that times are not measured by any GPS, but as I said in the video's description, the road was a little way up, so that results are fair enough. Thank you so much for commenting!
@@TheultimateDIYmachine I think my 530i with 190000km would not be much faster, i have to try it as well.
@@Blackhawker91 Yeah, definitely you have to try it! 😎
Dude, my 528 e39 manual goes actually the same, and 0-200 27.5s. (225/55/16). Maybe you got 18 wheels?
Maybe your car's grown a turbo and you didn't notice it
@@TheultimateDIYmachine well, i can send you my vid accelerations, if u want, but there youtube vids.

2004 BMW E30 M5
What
You shift too late, try to shift at 6k rpm
Thanks for the advice! I’ll try after changing clutch and installing short shift kit
@@TheultimateDIYmachine type in Google m54b30 Dyno stock, and follow torque line, you will see that best torque ends at approx 6krpm ;)
Thats stupid. Lower gear are easy to accelerate. Always shift at rev limiter.

@@Hellafast2uDude Yeah but this engine doesnt make 231 hp at 6500 rpm. full power output is 6000rpm
