I wasn’t even mad after their argument for it, despite not thinking it’s really all that improved over the a1. It is certainly the biggest leap by a manufacturer in its internal line in many years.

because Pentax was the ONLY camera this year in this dying-out camera class (DSLR), by definition it is both the BEST as well as the WORST DSLR of 2021. It is Canadian politeness which turns the predicate "the only DSLR" into "the best DSLR" 😉
I think I'd be broken in a big way if I did that many shots. For DSLR, you should have done best DSLR of all time... Given we've seen the last fo the DSLR for most brands, it would be an interesting trip down memory lane. Love the year end video.
If you got a people together to discuss "best DSLR ever", all you'd produce is a a bunch of voices telling you every which way that it's the D850. Nobody is ever going to disagree with that choice ever. :D

I’m having some financial issues this year so I didn’t buy any gear besides a Godox AD200 for work. Well at least I didn’t have to sell any of my gears to raise money. I haven’t paid as much attention to new gears this year for that reason so I’m a little lost in this video lol. Nevertheless Chris and Jordan I love you guys, through all the years :) Let’s hope we have a much better year in 2022 and maybe I will have a chance to visit Calgary and Camera store

After watching the show, I am left a bit wanting. Best camera worst camera were not nearly as funny as previous years. I guess we have come to an age all new releases have become so competitive. Even the ZFc with 3 supported lenses.
Am I the only one who is worried about the sub count of this channel - this is by far the most entertaining and informative YT camera channel and it can't even break the 350k mark....WTF?
Sub count across YT has probably been stagnant for a while. The majority of views on a lot of medium sized channels come from non-subscribers who just ride the algorithm
Brutal beverages aside, that was fun! Kitty seemed unimpressed however! Next year, post-pandemic, let’s have a subscriber video conference spelling challenge, with adult beverages! 🤣 You guys have a great New Year and best wishes!
The only things missing in this clip are: a fireplace screensaver on an Imac (angry), Asian acrobatic models (granger), the aero/sniff categories (Fro,) blurred out lake category (Toneh,) and a guy on a scooter (trolls two reviewers in one, Casey and Matt.) I don't even really support drinking in excess. However, this should be the new format for all DPR videos! :) Happy Holidays.
Could you guys do a competition of which brand has the least crappy camera app? Get some photographers who have never used the tether apps and see which one can complete a whole photo shoot with it. shed some light on bad it is.. I hate that camera apps are "free" so they never need to work or be improved, and only come out with a new version that does nothing except support the latest camera model.
Mates near Christmas getting drunk and arguing about camera gear, not sure why it works so well, but I love it every year. Keep it up chaps.

@@Bayonet1809 I might vote 90D actually. It's not as pro-grade as the D500, but it's more versatile.
@@youknowwho9247 I have not used the 90D but why do you think it is more versatile? Afaik the D500 does the same things and is way faster.

The laowa 35 .95 is my favorite lens out of all the lenses I’ve used in the last 4 years lol
End result is more important than technical ability. My TTartisan 50 0.95 gets used more than my gmaster lenses.
