I love these gloves. Great value. They have that cool Muay Thai feel and wrist cuff. Most $50 and under gloves I can wear out in 2 months. The padding in these just seem to last longer. I’ve only used the 12oz gloves for bag/pad work.
If you're only focusing on knuckle protection and feedback when hitting the heavy bag, which do you like better between these and the venum impact? Thanks for your time and all that you do.
Hey al first and foremost I wanted to say good luck in your up coming boit and Kay yoru hard work pay off and second off I wasn't sure if you knew bit Cleto Reyes are coming out with a MMA line including MMA sparring gloves that we'd love for you to review. That being said good luck in your fight and may you be safe
What’s up brother, I’m in some desperate need of a glove recommendation. I’ve been trying to find a good pair of gloves that protect my knuckles for the past 3 years and have wasted money on about 12 different pairs, brands, ounces and I can’t find a pair to protect my knuckles. I know a lot of people say they hit hard but I truly do hit HARD 😂 I’m just wondering if you had one glove recommendation for the most protective pair of gloves for someone training 2 times a day on a hard heavy bag what would it be? Right now the best pair I have to date are my 18Oz Yokkao’s. I also wear a fortress quick hand wrap with a K-guard plus a hand wrap over the top of that and I can’t seem to protect my knuckles. You by far have the best and most in depth combat sports gear reviews on the internet man, I would really appreciate some help on a pair that will really protect me so I don’t have to keep wasting money on gloves not worth it 🙏 I would really appreciate your time and recommendation brother! 🙏
So if you have the fortress wraps on in a Yokkao glove then there are some brands that really focus on knuckle padding such as Twins or even Windy as far as Thai gloves go. On top of that, I would say that a good option for overall boxing gloves I love Hit N Move/Braynt Boxing as I feel they do a great job of protecting the knuckles. I am unsure if you have ever tried a leather Powerlock by Everlast but I do honestly see a lot of benefit for knuckle padding in those gloves. Topboxer Win1 is another great choice as they are a winning clone in a lot of ways. Message me on IG if you have it maybe we can talk more in depth there
Hi Al, I've bought multiple Sanabul products throughout my life but never striking gear (I do bjj). I started doing dutch kickboxing and I wanted to ask you if these gloves would be good for a beginner like me or should I go with another brand (reddit suggests RDX) plus I don't want to spend more than 50usd really, I'm Argentinian and 50usd is already too much.
If you are just starting, I'd recommend the RDX F6 or F4s if you are thinking of going with RDX. Great beginner glove, lots of guys in my gym use them when they first started
@@combat_corp thanks, great. I forgot to mention that here in Argentina we don’t have any of those brands so I’ll have to buy one in the US and have somebody bring it to me, so the one I buy will be my only set of gloves for a long long time.
Hey man! Just started my mma journey. Thought of buying Venum black set (impact, challenger etc.) cause looks awesome and popular brand. However, there are a lot of negative reviews. What do u think of that? Is it worth buying or there are better options. Just wanted to make it in one style and also to be high quality. Thank!
So for me the Venum impacts/challengers will last you a good amount of time and they get the job done. But the performance for the money you drop is not worth it for me. I would rather the battleforged over them in all honesty.
May I ask, sir, is it better to practice every day with pedding or a punching bag, genuine leather or synthetic leather, sir, for long durability? Greetings, sir, your subscriber from Indonesia
Hey could you help me with a mystery/give a suggestion. I have been hitting the heavy bag for years with only puffy sanabul mma gloves and phenom bag mitts. No wraps. Yesterday I tried a brand new pair of venum impact 14oz with sanabul gel quick wraps and my right hand knuckles are sore abs bruised as hell. What did I do wrong? Why would legit boxing gloves do that and mitts wouldn't? Is it hand position? Inability to make a proper fist? I'm stumped. Thanks for your time and your wealth of knowledge
Hey, it's 6 months late to your comment, but I can tell you that firstly the venum impact gloves are absolute trash. I actually bought a pair and used them for about 2 years, and they were genuinely the worst gloves I've ever had. The padding was soft and pillowy to the touch and yet somehow gave no cushioning when striking, and somehow no feedback either. My punches felt like dull rigid smacks. It didn't feel like a puncher's glove, or a padded glove (like my Twins), and I just used them because I had them. Because of discounts and vouchers I essentially got the gloves for free and I still wanted a refund. I didn't like my Twins because they were too soft when punching, so just recently after the leather on the top of one of my venums started to peel away I finally caved and picked up a pair of Fairtex BGV1s. At first the gloves felt weirdly tight over my fingers, and the lack of a grip bar felt weird, but after even just 1 session of breaking them in with moderate bag work I now love them to bits. They give really solid feedback and don't feel pillowy, but feel great even for hard striking. I understand why they're so highly regarded now.
Im guessing youve already decided by now but the sanabul thai gloves are great for bag work in the 16 oz. Pillowy on the knuckles while still having good feel on the punches.
hello my friend, I am your subscriber from Indonesia, in the past you have tried the Hawkeye brand boxing gloves, products from Indonesia, namely my beloved country, you have not tried the hook fightgear and rounin fightgear brands from my beloved country too, can you try them, how is the durability of these 2 brands because during This is a RUclipsr who is serious and good at reviewing boxing gloves. Only you, do you want to try these 2 brands? I'm a beginner in boxing and only have bad boxing gloves at home so I want to buy one of these brands but I'm confused about which one is good.

What do you like better between these and the venum impacts. Want a cheap pair for mainly big work while traveling
