I’m curious on how powers are selected for people. I have a theory that it depends on what they experience or want. Yo support, Hughie accidentally came across Teddy, who we found out is being raised in some sort of children’s center for adoption with powers and sorts, after his mom, Madelyn died. And he had teleportation powers, and Hughie saw that a few times, so possibly, he got the idea of teleporting subconsciously. But Teddy, if we are being honest probably has like matter manipulation really, because unlike Hughie, his clothes stay on. Also because he’s a kid and they won’t do that. But to support this theory, look at butcher. When he takes the temp v, he gains durability, super strength, and the laser eyes. Which isn’t all of the powers Homelander has, but it is one of the main ones, except for flight of course. In an argument with MM about him taking temp v and the whole point of the boys, Butcher says that it’s temporary and he can finally level the playing field. So his powers were possibly subconsciously similar to Homelander to rival him since he of course wants revenge. Now I guess it’s different with actual compound v, because Homelander had his powers since a literal baby and stuff, but with temp v, it’s by that.

He was excited to send a bunch of anti establishment agenda to MM in order to argue why it's good for Janine to hear Homelander talk about being a God who is better than everyone and hoe we should be so lucky that he graces us with his presence. I'll bet he played that speech for all of his students(potentially 6 or 7 classes worth, I didn't catch what grade Sally , the quiz taker, was in) for weeks and cited it for ridiculous things. Like Government..."this isn't how it's supposed to be and Homelander is fighting it'; "Homelander is a perfect example if someone clawing rheir way back from being 'cancelled'..

If you didn’t notice this is a combo of all the previous episode videos. Lots of people including myself tend to watch shows like this on a mobile device. So you could easily miss some of these. We live in a world where a cars manual tells you not to consume the battery, can’t blame them for tailoring to all audiences.

The show pokes fun at superhero movie tropes, but then does those exact tropes. Beginning of season 2 they make fun of the girls get it done thing, but then in the season finale they do exactly that. Season 3 they do the beams thing and the we're the same, then in the finale butcher and homelander do the eye beams meeting battle thing and homelander tells soldier boy theyre the same
