- In this video we will visit my buddy, Jay for an unboxing and review of the new Stern Black Knight Sword of Rage Pinball machine. This is the premium version that has the upper playfield. We'll also check out some of Jay's new arcade games like the super rare 1981 Bally / Midway The Adventures of Robby Roto!

Thanks for all the fun vids John. We greatly miss you. This channel used to be my highlight of every week. The hours we spent along with you on all of your projects.... great fun man. But we understand passions change, hobbies dwindle, and life gets hectic. Thanks for all of the great times and hopefully we see you post again. If not, we hope you are doing well in life.

He was asked recently on one of the VGO podcasts if he's done with RUclips. He said he's not done so clearly has lost the passion to create videos for now hence the long break but I have no doubt he'll be back.

Every so often i check johns last video to see if there's a new one. Like going to a graveyard expecting to see corpses rise from their grave. Ye i know. It not gonna happen. But he was good fun playing around with those old arcade machines.

By the way, one of the guys unlocked a "classic" Black Knight mode while playing. It changed the graphics on the monitor and all the sounds were of the classic game. We were all like, "Holy Crap! That's so awesome!". We couldn't believe it. Great pin!

Nothing like the free ball loud knock/snap sound. You can hear that sound through a full arcade in full effect machines going off crazy and you still hear it across the room.
Cool table for sure. The light work is awesome.

Great to see you back again John. As for a suggestion, I would like to see you review the arcade 1ups first, then go to the quarter scales, maybe do those all in one big video review (if they are all from same company). That’s my $0.02. 😁 ✌️

It’s been a year to the day since your last video. I’ve always enjoyed your videos. I binge watched the Journey restoration. I forgot how interesting that one was. I really do hope you revive your basement/garage videos. Even one video a month would be awesome. Anyway, just looking forward if/when you put out more videos. Even a John’s Kitchen episode would be fun to watch.

That Black Knight pin looked great. As far as the reviews question at the end goes, think about which ones are easier to do videos on so you can get the videos out quicker. Something like a 1UP is going to take time with putting it together and filming that whole process. Something like the Pacman is just a matter of taking it out of the box and would be a lot less time.
I came to see if any new videos have been posted recently only to find the last video post was 10 months ago!?! WTH... LOL!

I love Black Knight 2000, and this new game looks killer! There is a Robbie Roto cabinet at Castle Fun Park in Abbotsford British Columbia, with the art intact, but sadly converted to another game:(

Always hated that wobbly popcorn machine. If it didn't wobble on the table I don't think it would have bothered me so much. Great intro & great video.
The opening of this video with the black and white and edgy rock music reminds me of the amnesiac Sonny Burnett episodes in season 4 and season 5 of "Miami Vice".
