    The fenestrations let air, light, and water through to the lower leaves.

    I fertilize in the winter too, growth slows a bit, but still happens under my grow lights and in the warmth.

    Glad I found your channel. Your way of caring for your plants is right up my alley. I am also obsessed with keeping bugs away. I honestly can say I have a little more OCD regarding it 😂. Your plants are beautiful!

    I’d go for a video on likes and supports. I need to repot and straighten out a very crooked pole. It also needs an extension and I dread doing all this. It’s on a plastic pole. I wanted a thiccly pole but Amazon was out and I got what they recommended. It works but I I switched to a thiccly pole I might enjoy the front clasps and solid back. But yea, this is a long winded way of saying I’d love the pole and other supports.

    I do shower some of my plants. But I don't take them outside. I'm afraid they will get pests and infect all the others. 😱

      I agree lol if I did it, I’d do it and snatch it right back in as soon as the rained stopped

    @unplantatenthood keeps most of her anthuriums in ambient humidity. I would if I had any but the grocery store anthurium. You know the ones with the red flowers. I kinda ignored it for two years. Started paying attention and it’s BLOOMING!! I never expected it to bloom. It gets early morning light. Direct for a couple hours then indirect for the rest of the day.

    Yesss! A video about supports would be fantastic. I have been putting off repoting my philodendron white princess because I'm not sure which support would work best for that plant.

    If you don’t want to try and pollinate the flower I would cut it off so it puts more energy into growing leaves instead of inflos.

    Lovely plants, what is your ratio of need oil and how often do you spray them.?

    • @GardenOfKayland
      @GardenOfKayland  12 дней назад

      Thank you! Honestly I don’t really measure but if I had to guess, about 20% neem, a splash of dish soap and warm water with a good shake. I spray them once a month when I shower all my plants

    I have the Philo Angela... I think that that is the African fantasy thamatophyllum(sp) now. And I also got it from Chimera Tropicals :-). That plant is so easy. I love it so much. Cannot wait for it to get big like yours!! Also, I think super thrive is considered more like a supplement but I use it in all my plants too and they love it!

    I am doing an experiment using the Naked Root pot using Bonsai Jack Gritty mix. I am putting a video out as soon as I finish it, but I am curious your thoughts on using soil in your Naked Root pot. Do you like it more than plastic pots?

    • @GardenOfKayland
      @GardenOfKayland  12 дней назад

      Hi! I love the naked root planters. I have to be mindful though because they aren’t kidding when they say these are breathing planters. This means they dry out faster than my other plants so I have to make sure I’m checking them often
