Getting the fleeces to new homes! That must feel so nice to know that they'll still go to good crafting use but they're not taking up your space anymore. It's so great to see the changes, it looks so nice!
I love your channel, it’s fiber shenanigans, your humor, and your personality! I smile the entire time, learn from you and just enjoy everything about it. I also enjoy your accent, I am American and have a boring voice 😂 Very kind of you to enable fellow fiber artist! The bag is super cute
I love that you repurposed the table cloth! I missed it in the last video and it is something I associate with your channel, so I'm glad it's not gone!
I absolutely love it how you were able to re-organise your space and make it more useful, neat and pleasant for yourself! Not just that, but by repurposing things and by donating all those fleeces to good homes! Yay!
Oh my gosh you are so cool! Loving the circular economy, wool and tables are going to be loved by their new owners. Thank you for sharing your studio update, I am not the only one to enjoy some calming chaos wool (adjacent) content!
Good cleanup young lady. And a grreat idea about the velcro tape and good use of your table cloth - which I love by the way - I love colour - lots of it. Some family from far away visited the other day and commented that my home was a colourful hippy house and then two days later someone else said the exact same thing - it makes me happy - nearly as happy as you were when all your excess floof was taken 😁😁😘😘
This was perfect timing for me. We just moved and now I have a crafty loft space I've been arranging and it was nice to see what you did to yours. I think I'm definitely going to need some shelves or something. At least my 3 spinning wheels, loom, and sewing machine are in their places. And Yay for getting all those extra fleece to new homes! I'm sure it must have felt really good to pass it on and to have a more manageable amount to deal with. The tablecloth as a curtain for under the sink was a great idea! And a strong sturdy table to work on now must be so much nicer. Happy spinning and crafting to you in your updated studio. ❤🐻
Putting the soft side of the velcro on the sink is brilliant. I love the vase. I'm not sure why, as it is both hideous and adorable at the same time. It's like the Aye-Aye (Daubentonia Madagascariensis) of the sculpture world.... Congrats on de-stashing! Whomever got the fleeces from you is very lucky, indeed! The new craft table is awesome! Enjoy! Hugs
Love to. See one of your knitted or crocheted blankets on the wall at e back you said they are in a cupboard well may change them with thee seasons nice clear out though. I Need to give some fleece away also
I have thought about that, but don't have a good way of hanging them. I have one on a Ikea clothes rack, but that's only good as a background when I sit down and the camera is zoomed in quite a bit haha
I’m constantly asking myself if there isn’t at least one of my hobbies that can be put to the side a while but NO! It’s just not possible, I’ve tried… It takes up so much space to be a maker. But one simply can not place a part of oneself on a shelve , so it gets hard, always a bit messy. But it’s life and living and loving.❤ It looks great!
cant wait to see the newly updated craft room. mine is a complete disaster right now cause of making everyone knitted gifts for xmas. i love your channel. its so fun but i learn alot. 😍
You are absolutely adorable and hilarious! I’m so glad I stumbled upon your channel! Btw, I have a stash of fleeces in my shed that I also know I won’t be able to get through in my lifetime. You are inspiring my to release! Release the fleeces!!! 😊💕
Wow, love your channel and also this video. I would be happy to go to you and help you, only for the curiosity what fleeces and stuff you have ❤ I have to organisize my fleeces as well 😅. Your video gives so much motivation
Not sure if this is still useful but we have had some great successes with under carpet anti-slide mats to keep tabletops etc in place without gluing. It can be really helpful for moving etc if things are still easy to disassemble
lovely video, love the chaos! I am a fairly new spinner in Belgium (Gent area) and I am intrigued by all this free fiber you mention! 😅Where do you find it? ❤
I get most of it from a farmer that is local to me. He tends to a heritage site and the sheep are there to keep the nature around it neat, the sheep are also heritage breeds (Vlaams schaap en Belgisch melkschap). So I would firstly suggest: talk to a local farmer. Our woolindustry is in shambles so, they might just throw the fleeces in big bags at you. I get alpaca from my mom's best friends' brother and my mom's neighbour's sister, so it might also be a good idea to just hear around with friends and family. Lastly I browse 2dehands and facebook and am in a couple of facebookgroups dedicated to spinning, fleeces and fiber arts. Every year around sharing season, those places get flooded with fiber. The free fiber however might be a bit more loaded with vegetable matter than the roving you can buy online, and requires more prep, but I find it to be much more rewarding!

Thank you ☺️ and yes, it felt really good!
Why are you such a joy & a treasure 😭✨ truly the most cool and underrated spinning/fiber/yarn channel on RUclips
This comment melted my whole heart 😭

Having another language than English as your first language is a surefire way to getting an accent 😉
I love that you repurposed the table cloth! I missed it in the last video and it is something I associate with your channel, so I'm glad it's not gone!
I like it too much for it to be gone 😁

Yay indeed :D
I'm glad you found a spot for that tablecloth, it's very cute haha.
Congrats on all the Space. Looking forward to seeing the finished studio.

I have been called a hippy many times before too. Mostly pointing to my swooshy skirts though 😄
@@MijnWolden gotta LOOOOVE the swooshy skirts 💞

Oooh congrats on your loft space! Happy organising to you ☺️
I love this stuff! Your studio is a work studio in the process of becoming, like all good work studios.
Exactly 😁

The aye-aye of ceramics 😂
Yes! Let's hear it for a circular economy!
Yes! We need more circularity!
I love your passion for what I’ve loved for decades.❤️WOOL.
I also love the mushroom lamp!🍄❤️
I'm looking forward to the day I can say it's been decades for me too 😁

Good job on the organization of your studio. I need to organize my craft room.
Good luck!
I love the colors of the table cloth.
And now you can love the colours of the sink-cloth 😄

Very true!
Hi Jente, don't feel too bad, I have 7 unprocessed fleeces in my garage. Cheers-Laura
7? I wish I only had 7 😂 I gave more than 7 bags away and still have no way of ever getting through my stash 😅
thank you , i too am doing some cleaning of my work area

Worth a try ☺️
very nice... how about filming your new studio from a drone perspective with dramatic music? 😃
There's only windows on one side of the studio however... 🤔
What is the loom you have in your studio? It's like a manual table loom and I love it.
*I found your video weaving on this thing. What a neat loom.
Haha you have answered youself :)

@@MijnWolden wauw, thank you for the great tips! So sad that farmers are in this position though... I love watching your videos by the way :)
Ik hou van om andere mensen te zien opruimen.
Ik vind dat ook leuk om te zien 😁
Unaesthetically pleasing? 😅
Things can be unaesthetic yet pleasing at the same time, right? 😅
@@MijnWolden oh yes they can!
