Is this Samsung fridge one of the black stainless fridges? Mine has a thin dark film on the stainless and I’m worried pulling the dent could tear the dark wrap. Any input?
I removed a dent using a Vevor dent remover. Removed 95% of the dent. You can only notice it a bit from the side when sunlight shines on it. I slightly raised the dent above the fridge surface and gently panel beated down with the supplied hammer using a plastic CD cover in between. Only way to get 100% result is level out the dent perfectly which is near impossible
Me and my wife purchased a new fridge and within a couple weeks we had a few dents. The kids didnt do it so once again the ghosts in my house is the real problem. How to get rid of ghosts?
Or simply buy new door, magnet deco would look odd at the bottom. Or at very least you can also buy the metal part itself, but you would have to disassemble the door and replace it.
@@robertojeda88 Yes if your fridge costs ~$4K. I asked the repair company who are affiliated with those brands and my $600 fridge door was $150 shipping included.
I bought the same exact kit for a dent in my fridge. Is there any way to make it as good as knew or will you always be able to see some sort of dent left. My thought is that once the steel is bent, it's either impossible or super difficult to make it perfectly smooth again.
@anthonyrojas6303 I'm here because I got pissed off a couple years ago when I was younger and punched a dent into the fridge. Now I hope I can get ride of it as much as possible
My kids have out at least 10 small dings in our fridge. I get disgusted every time I see them. Idk if this will help but I will try it. The sad thing is the fridge is fairly new.
I have been trying the same on my refrigerator and don’t need to use the scraper. Just let the alcohol work more time and the glue will come off very easily.
Sir pls tell me why the fridge showing moisture out sides of body , fridge picture -->🖼️ freezer sides out sides sign area please how to solve the problem and reason very humble request in front of you im waiting
That's why they always made fridges in white. You don't really see the dents. Darker colours show up all the scratches and dents and dust. Cars are the same.
The ding never fully comes out there's always a little crease. I've always said if you get any kind of ding in stainless steel it's completely done the front's ruined, always new fridge time
Yeah I mean bc a month after spending $2,000.00 on a refrigerator that has a cosmetic flaw, go spend another $2,000.00 especially if you have children and bills bc who needs to actually eat and we can all spend $2,000.00 every month for a fridge makes sense
I tried this kit and did not find it successful. There are no instructions so figuring out which plastic pieces is trial and error. Also the black glue stick kept detecting from the blue connector and the stainless steel fridge surface. I witched to the light colored stick. Adhesion was a little better. However in the end after 10 attempts and no results, I gave up.
I had this kit as well and tried it on the lower freezer door of my French door Whirlpool refrigerator. I could not get the glue to adhere the blue plastic piece. I figured it was because the door was too cool for the hot glue to sufficiently adhere. You seem to have had the same issue. What is the "light colored stick" to which you refer?

You can reheat the glue to take it off. Heat gun or blow dryer might do the trick.
I totally agree it looks better if you stand back further away from it, just like my ex.🤪😜🤪😜
🤣🤣🤣
LMAO !😁
That’s Too funny! Did your ex buy the refrigerator? I thought so….gag!
😂😂😂😂
Well just ordered it have two big dents in my fridge going to give it a try!
Ty! My dad and I are going to try it out.
How to get the dent out without buying any?
Why didn't You finish with the mallet and those hard rubber pieces ?? You can smooth out that last ripple there by light tapping the area.
Agreed, that mallet with tips is for tapping down that high spot. Just got a dent puller for my fridge today
how would you do that? I'm in a similar situation. Thanks!
I'll tell you what get magnetic charms and put those on your refrigerator door and done
Nice. Hot glue melts with heat so it just hit it with a heat gun to get it off.
Magnet it is for me 🤣

Even after this effort, it does not come back to its original form. An easier way would be to just cover the dent with a nice fridge magnet.
Or simply buy new door, magnet deco would look odd at the bottom. Or at very least you can also buy the metal part itself, but you would have to disassemble the door and replace it.

@@ExacoMvm $150 is fair, but $800? You’re an idiot for paying 4k for a fridge and not buy the warranty or anything to protect it,

Heat gun maybe. Researching this myself.
You can buy a new door but the dent will never come out fully to original form

Did you try this on a black stainless appliance? Was wondering about pulling the finish off.
It is a black stainless appliance. Does not hurt finish at all..

Does this work on an lg stainless fridge?
as long as it's stainless steel it'll work

It work on your refrigerator?
@@steveee1972 it is working. I am not sure to keep on trying or not, but it is better now.
you could probably use a mixture of the dent remover plus a heat gun to smooth it out after

Hello Rick, You could have returned to Samsung refrigerator dented during transport. Samsung stores promptly accepts replacement.
Nice to know.
