- This video was shot by Laurie Daniels, mother of Miles Doughty from Slightly Stoopid. Someone posted this publicly on facebook just now, so I figured I'd make my private upload from many months ago public here. Thank you to Aaron Rigney for preserving this digital copy of the tape to get back to the Nowells and Laurie. All the best.

I love how Brad’s dog is always hanging around him in every single video he’s in lol
Lou dog 🔥
I don’t think people give Brad enough credit for his guitar skills . I play and when I watch videos of anyone playing I usually just watch their hands and when I watch Brad play not just here but live shows I’m pretty impressed
When I found this video 10 minutes ago, I immediately looked at the technique of his picking hand because I wanna learn his strumming style so bad. There are lots of sudden triplets in his strumming that I love so much, but I never ever hear people use it.
@@SunnyD420 noel Gallagher on Wonderwall isa good example of this
@@TheBlaise123 thanks, I'll check it out
Dude could shred - while singing his heart out. Not to mention one of the best song writers ever.
Lot of the guitar solos on sublime songs are bradly shredding. So much talent gone to soon
My favorite thing about Bradley, that I never hear anybody mention, is the fact that; during the height of the grunge movement. When most people were writing depressing, angry, moody music, Bradley barely ever strayed away from the Major scale lol… happy, upbeat, funny, braggadocios (in a good way).
He was just, himself. What an original
You are so right!!!!!
Oh man pool shall gets me everytime
Hell yeah dude the down on your self and the ultra humble thing has got to go
Sublime kept me alive through all my addictions and depression till Jesus Christ and I started our journey to become who I am today
He was still an unhappy depressed loser who overdosed like most grunge era lead singers, but hey, at least those songs were upbeat! Hahaha
The music never dies.. got in the car today and sublime was on the radio.. should be considered for the rock hall of fame actually
How in the actual fuck am I just now finding this? I didn’t believe it was real at first. What else is out there? Holy hell.
From watching the bootlegs at 18 in 03', i knew someday we'd have more content. Im just as surprised to bro. Cant listen to Brad w/out singing along. Peace n Love.

Bradley Nowell is an incredibly underrated singer, and overall musician....one of my faves; also playing soft ska/punk on an acoustic guitar....nobody else.... literally 😂
Gosh. Jakob can now play in memory of his father. 2024 is going to be majestic. Life's majestic. Thank you for making this available. 🙏🏽
It’s gonna be a wild year.stoked Jakob,is singing😊
Sweet

Just love what Jakob has done , is doing, and will be doing with his uncle's and release new music. He sounds so much like his dad.
This DUDE is majorly, SUPER - DUPER, GIFTED.... 🙏👍🏻👊🏻

Is there any other versions of the unreleased
I seen many disregard that sublime's output was over 50% covers/renditions/recycling riffs- melodies etc. Robbin the Hood was when the quality started to bleed thru, the nearly half of the self-titled that was orig....I eschew all the reggae covers.
@@kookadams85 why try to label it honestly it’s just sublime that’s it
@@kookadams85 i dont even understand how doing a lot of covers is a bad thing
as long as you're bringing something new to the table with the cover and not just doing a 1:1 copy of a song, covering songs is dope! and you can do crazy stuff with it that the audience loves, one of my old bands used to do a ska punk cover of I'm Looking Through You by The Beatles, every crowd we played it for loved it everytime (not like i've played any huge crowds but still lmao)
We all miss you Brad. You’d be so proud of Jakob❤️
Durn rite
Sure
Agreed
Saw Jakob last Saturday in Denver. Great Set! All the classics and then some. Keepin it going!
This Casual home recording is gold for big sublime fans and Bradley Nowell fans! A look behind the curtain ;) I wish I was hanging with him that night! So sad he didn't have the time to do a whole lot more. But I love what he left us with. He is one of my favorite people that I never got to meet.
This is such an amazing peek into his life
You absolutely right broski, he was under appreciated when he was here but sometimes that how it goes gotta leave to be missed.
To my knowledge this recording is at Miles from the band Slightly Stoopids moms house.
I was born a few months after Bradley passed. Grew up on his voice and I hope to pass down my fandom. There is no other group I wish I could have seen live other than Sublime !!!!!! WE LOVE YOU BRADLEY!!!!!!!!
I had that poster of the self titled album in my room in like 98. I was a kid Eminem pac big Bradley idk whay happen I moved out but 1000s of poeple that partied in my downstairs bedroom
Lots of bedrooms with that poster out there bro🤟
Well, guess I’ll be adding this to my list of videos I will watch at least once a month every year for the rest of my life … give or take
This makes me so sad, such a beautiful voice full of character and passion. Why’d he have to go so soon man
@@treble77 lil Wayne and Bradley the greatest of the 90s
@@overthehills8833 lil Wayne would definitely not be included in the greatest of the 90s. Definitely not before Kurt cobain or Layne stayley.
he just liked heroine can’t blame him
❤❤❤
Farking parents, son.
Thank you to whoever shared this.
Bradley Nowell has brought joy and inspiration in to my life for almost 30 years now.
This should be inspiration to anyone. No studio tricks, no overdubs. Just Brad raw. And killing it, like nobody else can.
😅Thank you Brad.
amazing soul.. will never be duplicated.. EVER!
This is so good. My sad little soul needed this right now.
Your SOUL is not little my friend..in fact it is INFINATE...you may even say it is SUBLIME!

Mine too bro.
25th anniversary, I can’t believe it’s been that long. Legend. No sound or vibe like them ever.
What happened/eye of Fatima is the version on the acoustic album. So crazy to see the video behind the recording.
yea fr
Great song
What a trip
Yeah, this hits me hard to see if for the first time after hearing it for the first time nearly a quarter century ago. Awhile back someone posted the vid of Dub Medley 2 (Great Stone) which was live to board.. unfortunately can't find it. One of my fav Brad performances.
Just found out this existed.
Making punkers everywhere jealous as hell!! What a sick bunch of tunes to just rattle off!! This rules
So cool that he covered X's were desperate and adult books. He really knew his music. RIP bud.
Whoa I’ve listened to this so many times and it’s a trip to see it in video form
15:13 waits for a second of silence “Brad!”
Bradley- ignores her keeps jamming
I wonder what it was?
2:35 BRADLEY'S SOULFUL SOUNDS LITERALLY MOVED EARTH
He’s the full musical vessel… ✌️🫠
This gave me the chills. I always loved how he went from “what happened” into “eye of Fatima.” He was so talented, was hoping he’d do a song in Spanish.
Perfect! So glad this was found and exists!
BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE MAN WHO POSTED THIS ✌🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
THANK YOU 🙏MADE MY DAY🌞
Right on
Agreed
Talent coming out of his ears
Love 'Just Keep Mackin' All the Time'! Wish that would have gotten the full band treatment. Also, this was recorded 4 days before the 'Memories' show in Everett, WA. Key piece of Sublime history right here!
Can anyone provide the lyrics? Its hard to tell what he's saying during the chorus.
That is really awesome information…I love The Tressels Tavern show… just curious how you know that? Thanks for sharing!!!
Sorry this reply took me so long, man, I know this because the show at the Tressel Tavern was on the 14th of November 1994, this video was recorded on the 10th of November 1994. So, they would have flown up there right after this.
The Memories booklet describes picking them up from the Airport and Brad singing all the way to the venue and not stopping singing the whole night, this video I feel reflects the artistic boom state he was in at that moment in time that went on to make the Tressel show so unique and amazing.
“i like earthquakes. let it flow my a mudslide” 😂😂 my guy
An absolute LEGEND right here in yiur livibg room. Ill aee yiu in heaven Bradley!
New footage AND new content. Very personal acoustic; love it!
What a talented dude Brad was man he can play and that voice wow.. back when there was original musicians in the world ..now days everyone sounds the same ...
There only session musicians left no one’s original
My boy high af god almost makes me miss it
This makes me emotional.

Leave it to Reid to find this! Can't thank you enough. Just watched it again tonight with my son Jacob. (Wife wouldn't let me spell it Jakob) ;-)

This makes me so fuckin happy ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘😊😊😊😊😊i never knew there was video to that whole thing and then the little whistle song scat thing he does such an amazing soul I can only hope to see him again one day... Why we have to put up with these garbage ass so called entertainers of today with not a ounce of real talent I'll never know miss you Bradley ❤🤘🎸🎙🎶🎶

I miss living in OB, but it's still there every time I go back!
THEE DUDE OF ALL BROS!!! You rule BRAD.
he's one of my fave musicians. heroin/opioids are nothing to mess with. RIP
This sounds like the audio from the acoustic album. Didn't know it had a video to go with it. This is awesome!
It's too cool that it's Miles' mom recording Brad dude. Awesome.
Miles from Slightly?
Oh, my bad read the description!!!
That’s awesome!!
I heard some snippet that was new to me recently and in this it's a handful of songs I've never heard him sing like 'Outside' by the Ziggens, helps me cope with life's tragedies for some reason
He was such a great musician.
Wow this is gold not only the music but earthquake also

You guys rock for preserving and uploading this!! You can't hardly listen to any of Jimi Hendrix stuff and artists of the sort. Thank the heavens we have gems like this of Brad shared by loving people.

Can’t believe I just found this. I’ve listen to this album 1000s of times
It’s not from the acoustic album
I heard this on the acoustic album but I never seen this. He was a talented guy. His songs were so catchy.
That song Outside needs to be heard by the people, what a cool song! Never heard it before and love it! thanks for the video my friend!
It’s a Ziggens song

Thank you for uploading this, his music helped me through so much in my life. And I’m the same age as his son Jakob I’m so happy he’s keeping his dads music alive 🙏🏽
OMG OMG! I know the first song by heart from one of their albums, and never dreamed I'd get to see Bradley playing them!!! Thank you sooooo much!
Bradley was the most epic musician. Like nerds love Elon Musk, Bradley was a God of hip hop, reggae, blues, rock, funk, with a voice and style that no mortal comes close to.
Listening to this new music is sweet, and painful. We lost him way too early. He started a music revolution. I can only imagine what music would be like today, had he lived a full life.
Now, you have to dig around to find good music.
never seen this one before! freakin' AMAZING!!!!! THANK YOU MUCHLY!!!!
even a circke jerks cover!! back against the wall.....a X song too... were disperate...
epic, thank you for this
Songs I've never heard on here.... The world lost one of the best if not the best. I'm still reeling after all these years.
Thanks for sharing!
