I appreciate that you don’t take yourself too seriously while still teaching! Been one of my favorites for a long time. Thanks Keenan.
Keenans the Satoru Gojo of jiu jitsu. Iykyk 😅
If you take everything seriously you can't have any fun
"I'm going to let go of this choke so I dont kill sunshine"
4K video, audio recorded on a potato. Still some of the best content on RUclips
4k in the dark
All content on www.keenanonline.com from now on will be in 4k. check out the full series on these back attacks
Well done Keenan love that you’re so invested in social media. Giving us massive value is what matters, thanks fam.
You are one of the smartest and best BJJ players - and that really comes through when you instruct.
Anders Larsen bjj players lmao
@@sinskieprodigy, well yeah. They play a game. Like baseball players and football players.

@@sinskieprodigy Whats so funny about that?
BLACK BELT VIDEO QUALITY
WHITE BELT AUDIO QUALITY
NO GI 18+ content
And doesn't give credit to the author (Jigoro Kano).
The background his chest " typical stuff in a BJJ video nobody would notice but Cornelius making it noticeable as he usually does on this type of things 😂😂😂 epic lol
If you cant hear you should consider draining brother 😂😉 🤙
Oscar judge Lol
you're my favorite black belt to learn from on youtube. big thanks
Lol the rib! Happened to me 3 months ago when I was doing the same choke at a tourney. One of my faves. Thank you Professor!
1% BETTER EVERY DAY. learning through you always. much love broo
I feel you Neenan on the ribs man! lol reinjured my rib the other week. Thanks for the vid!
always cool to see ya havin fun on the mat.
it's always fun, but this was fun fun.
I will remember not to go to the 'back of the back'. And I soooo get it about the rib hurting! Keep up the great work.
4k looks great, thanks mate
Nice! Thanks Keenan!
This is hilarious and great content. I love it.
Great Details Professor!
Powerful Keenan.

great info, attention to details
no 2nd takes
Awesome video
This video in 4k HD. Me on Sat internet in the mountains with the most lag and grainy footage. But....thanks so much for the vid, will try tomorrow. Especially on the back of his back.
Awesome video, subscribed!
My only crit is the audio. I recommend getting a better microphone.
Thanks, keep it up!
Nice details ! thx Bro =)
Koshi Jime (hip strangle), for those interested in the traditional Japanese name. I think it's more seen in Judo, due to his rule set, and usually as a counter for Seoi Nage and other throws.
Exactly the info i wanted thank you for your comment
Late to this, but judo black belt for 30 years plus and did bjj for 5 years and it improved my judo ne waza immensely.
In judo I would do a clock strangle on someone about once every month or so, it's a go to transition strangle from standing to ground.
In my 5 years of bjj, not once did I use a clock strangle.
I just don't think that the opportunity is there in bjj like in judo.
It's no more effective at putting people to sleep than an other strangle, but in compétition, you don't let go of a strangle until the ref calls matte, and with a clock strangle it's very difficult for the ref to tell if they are out as they opponent is face down and sometimes obscured.
I like, that underneath this choke-teaching-video is a suggestion for a video thats called 'sleep faster' :D
I love these
Great video. Could you please do one of why it's better to try to pass guard on your feet and off of your knees. I have problem with passing on my knees (especially long legs)
Great choke man, thank you for the free stuff, you should get a patreon account.
It's called keenanonline.com
I am with one of those terrible popping ribs lesion. WTF! Hope you get better, soon.
Wonderful information. You many consider using a different kind of microphone to improve your audio. Thanks for posting.
thank you
Rib problem is probably a slightly torn intercostal muscle (a long term but common problem in BJJ). I’ve re-torn mine performing a clock choke because of the way you can twist your torso in it. He actually needs to adjust the technique for this because it’s a serious injury. This is not a random cramp. He’s hurting himself even while doing it slow. Imagine doing it at full speed against full resistance.
Nice different variations
Mr. Keen been on that California lately
Haha! This is funny! I just got put to sleep from a clock choke at Pans this year.
4k is a pretty nice move all you need is a half decent mic now ;)
I need to learn that Rib Technique.
I do a wrestlers knee tap once or twice like I’m trying to flatten them out then I reach for the collar. It works every time; knocked out a seasoned black belt with it. It’s a one arm clock choke. Elbow goes on back of opponents shoulder. Night night…..,
no one's as cool as keenan
It would be even more great in these tutorials if you showed first the move you are about to teach. It is quite frustrating to follow several consequent movements without knowing where we're aiming at. I see this in a lot of other BJJ tutorials, too. Anyways, keep up the good (clock)work!
Great!!
Hey Keenan, Can you please talk about your rib injury? And how you are doing after one year?
I’ve actually learned this choke in Judo.
ye, 2:55am lurkin' love me some clock chokes, but hate getting caught in them, lol
Nice blue Gi
Thanks for the video, but the quality of the image doesn't count for much when sound sucks. Check out a tascam recorder or a Shure directional mic.
Keenan please come down and I will roll against you at the next local competition and I'll run the whole time and scream
Nice move. But everytime I get to this position I just put my leg over my opponent's head putting pressure down his head and choking him 😆 I have no patience to circle around clock wise.
love how funny these positions look
Shout out to Arm Bar soap for the hoodie :)
Is this part of the uncut unedited version?
Everything is 4k, but this video is 1080?
Keenan, you're a professor now. Change white bar to a red bar lol
All i can think of is the video were Dwayne Johnson shouts “FOCUS!!!
scapula i think might be the body part you were looking for
How is Sunshine a purple belt already???
Gold
Keenan, by far you are the best black belt around! Although......this technique could of been finished in about 2:30. I think less words and more showing, the viewer tends to get wrapped up in the long lectures and loses interest.
Airport Chronicle's you should start a RUclips channel so you can end your techniques sooner.
@@fritzdagger No disrespect at all, just like to get to the point.
Airport Chronicle's no problem but there’s a lot of people who enjoy more details and options,
@@fritzdagger No doubt, my attention span is that of a grasshopper my bad. ;)
when you are nogi, instead of grabbing the collar with your right hand, can you also grab around his neck and secure the choke hold that way?
poderia por legenda para português...
is the arm/elbow on the back of the head effective for breaking the neck? also, how much of these tactics apply to civilian clothing applications? do most t-shirts rip?
Most T shirts rip
I kinda want to see keenan in mma
No hate. But an investment in audio quality would be awesome addition to the work.
And lights!
been needing an attack for turtling opponents
🌞sunshine in 4k🌞
Man I wanna be an evil clock
Why don’t you put your head on the mat to avoid hurting your ribs once you have the collar grip?
What is off to their left?
So very complicated, a sport for those that can remember things. My memory is far too crap for this unfortunately.
Orson Rider,
You have to watch and practice.
Well. two things -I have a problem watching anyone and translating it to my own body - I cant do it. (discalcula) And the other problem my memory is so bad that when i learn one technique I forget all the rest. Ive done arts that require a number of techniques before and after a year I can't remember a wrist lock! Then in stress testing there's no chance. Punching and kicking I can do. Grappling is just too complicated. It's for better equipped brains than me lol.

Intellectually I'm apparently "smart" (apart from numbers) Physically speaking I'm an absolute dunce. :)
Ginger Robert Pattinson has some gnarly cauli ear.
padshardbank the sacrifices I make for jiu jitsu 😪
Does it also work with people who have souls?
This is called Koshi jime and it's literally every choke on "Judo" Scout lol.
Actually this video only appears on 360p at least for me
You have to do a backflip in front of your webcam to unlock 4K quality
Why would you give underhook?
Ossss 🤙🏾
Can you do this with no gi
Nice 👍🏼. Rest that rib...
Judo does this clock choke a lot, afterall judo has tons of attacking the turtle
Interesting -- "Tempo" is a term commonly used in chess.
Yep, pretty good concept for Bjj too
Crazy redheads, eh!? 🙂✌ Awesome! Thank you for teaching, guys!!!
just gotta get better sound
koshi jime: 'hip choke'
Taking the back of the “back” counts as 8 points? 🤪
Oss sensei top🥋🥇🏆😎😎😎
I mean to be fair if someone turtles up there are so many options, choke being just one.
It would have been hilarious if your parents named you Yukon lol
So interesting to see keenan teaching an old variant of this choke. But Mario Sperry and Wallid were the masters of this; doing exactly what you say not to do. ruclips.net/video/koRyYX18AdM/видео.html But in the end, it all works. At one time, the clock choke disappeared, until Sperry used it and then Wallid finished and slept Royce with it with the dive the head over variation. It kind of disappeared for years. Then some German guy brought it back to life in like 2010. Good video, but I'd look at how sperry teaches it. Its cleaner and there is more detail and less possibility of being rolled. Still, Oss, Keenan. You're a master.
8:55 he wuuuuuts on your back??
Jk great vid
bwhahahahahahahahahaaaa - ahahahahaha
That guy looks like drew from chainsmokers!
Where is the Keenan Cornelius academy?
Looks like he’s only grabbing one side of the lapel? If so, how do you get a choke?
By following all the steps after the step of grabbing one side of the lapel.
Keenan Cornelius Lol. Hey thanks for the response! For the record I wasn’t trying to be a wise guy in asking my question, I was honestly trying to figure out what was choking the other side of the neck if only one side of the lapel is being grabbed. Call me dense

Homage to Chad Hardy at 6:32. No liabilities.
The back of his back 😂

Does that ginger have ADD or what?
The back of his what?
I see more people get slept by baseball bat chokes
