D’Arce comes from armpit to neck and anaconda goes from neck to armpit. Got it

This seems like a good place to introduce a Latin based systems language, like with medicine, to convey these differences that otherwise must be memorized as vernacular. Until then I'll call it the Darmpit choke so I know which way I enter from.

Guillotine = Neck in, neck out
Anaconda = Neck in, armpit out
Darc = Armpit in, neck out

I dunno why but I never thought you could finish the Darce with your opponents shoulder towards the ground, I always assumed it had to be the one facing up. This will def help

In the middle of the video, I thought I finally figured it out.
After that part, I am again in the darkness.
    Anacondarce choke.
Even the names of these skills are circular.
    Aargh!!!

Thank you this is the exact type of video i needed .... Also is it necessary to do the gator role or can u just finish the anaconda like the darce by falling onto the hand

It's not necessary, but it's better, I recommend doing a backflip after getting your opponent in an anaconda

    D’arce= armpit> head

Darce choke, at least to me, seems much more effective. I just feel like I get way more finishes with the darce than with the anaconda choke. Maybe it’s because the point of the clasp with the darce is right on the neck so maybe that translates to a better choking point than the anaconda , I don’t know.

The anaconda really relies on how you apply the choke from your opponent's shoulder. If your body isn't in some way applying downward force on the topside shoulder, the choke will seem really shallow (because it is).

Because opponents instinctively protect their necks during a scramble. Since a Darce is initiated from the armpit it's more, sneaky, if you will.
