I think, from my own experience, that Android is worst possible choice for generative AI development. Rules and dependencies are changed very often and additional complication is Kotlin, for which much fewer examples exists. This might be opportunity for Google to train Gemini for Android and Kotlin development...
I have to say I agree, but also have to confess that I am an Android developer so I was biased in doing this video :) . But will try to make one with iOS and then, maybe, som other software platforms that might be easier to tackle by Chat GPT. Thanks for the input !
@@sergiumogan I did some Android development, many years ago and recently I tried to update that app. It would be easier to start from scratch. i.e. WAKE_LOCK is changed so much that is useless... Anyway, it would be interesting to see the same Android request, but with Java? And ChatGPT 4, if you have access?
Will add this to my list and if I do it I'll let you know. I'll definitely make a subscription to GPT 4 but don't know about using Java. It's kind of outdated for Android. But it would make a good experiment, I have to agree
