Raw 1000 was a pretty fun special, Rock verbally mixed it up with Daniel Bryan, The Undertaker made a rare appearance outside of Wrestlemania and helped Kane cleared the ring, a full DX reunion that featured the return of X-Pac and New Age Outlaws but the highlight of the show was CM Punk turning heel in shocking fashion by laying out The Rock. I really enjoyed this one a lot
Dean Ambrose was smiling because he was a little nervous, but mostly because he was geeking out over having a spot with one of his childhood wrestling heroes. Heck, I would be too if I had that spot with Jake! Dean grew up as a fan of wrestling and who better to get the snake thrown on him, right? Good for Dean!
RAW 1000 was the first WWE show I went to live. Sat in the 3rd row that the hard cam faces. It felt like something special in the building that night in St Louis. I had a damn blast. Its still fun to go back and rewatch it.
My wife and I attended the raw roulette in Vegas while she was pregnant. When the rock came out and started his posing was the first time she felt our son kick lol.
10:48 can you do an episode on the "Yes" movement? I haven't paid attention to wrestling since the ruthless aggression era and while I've heard a lot about Daniel Bryan I don't really know the story and would appreciate a Wrestling Bios perspective on it.
the championship ascension ceremony on raw in 2013 is easily my favorite episode of raw that was such an awesome moment the occupy raw segment 10-years ago was phenomenal i remember the raw after royal rumble 2015 quite vividly because there was a massive snowstorm in the connecticut area JBL doing the weather outside still makes me laugh 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Can we stop for a second and appreciate how great that intro package was?? Like why is this man and his editors not working for WWE?? Simply an amazing intro package. Very well done, WB.
My buddy was front row for the Raw Hogan Birthday party. It you watch it you'll see Chael Sonnen applauding Brock while he is about to get into the ring to confront the legends.
My favorite moment had to be the Undertaker calling out Triple H for another WrestleMania rematch, thus striking a nerve with The Game by saying Shawn Michaels was better. Plus The Deadman cutting his hair on a weekly basis while watching his WM28 match was absolutely spine-tingling
I wasn't watching wrestling anymore by this time and actually probably even way before this, but I like WB to see what I missed or...maybe didn't miss I should say, but either way you do an EXCELLENT JOB WB 💯
I was at the 20th anniversary show. It wasn't advertised that much as a big anniversary show. All we got was that video package. I heard they were trying to get stone cold and undertaker and hbk, but one of them was busy so they didn't get any of them.
I was at Raw 1000. Awesome night. I love pro wrestling weddings. They always end in disaster. My favorite part of the right actually happened before the show. I had made a sign naming Charles Robinson the King Of Referees. Lil Natch saw it and had me come up to the barricade so he could autograph it.
I have a lot of nostalgia for 2013/2014. Guys like Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, The Shield, The Wyatts, AJ Lee, Paige etc really made the show feel fresh and exciting for the first time in a long time. It was the last time I truly felt the product was good overall up until recently.
The Usos used to look a lot cooler when they rocked face paint. It would have been realllll dope if they came out for their mania match wearing their old gear they used as a tag team together for so long. Anything could have helped their match lol.
Crazy weird fact... I was in the same jail Brian Christopher killed himself in right around the same time I can't remember if I was in the actual jail and he was just in the 1 week holding area but I remember it completely blew my mind at the time and it was surreal
I remember seeing the Bret Hart hommage on TV. Pat patterson got down on a knee to shake Bret's hand. Then Bret said on the mic he was à little nervous cause he tought Pat wanted to marry him 😂😂
I think people hate that Christmas Raw because it was beyond ridiculous. Nobody had a problem with them doing a Christmas Raw, it was just the way they went about it.
Video recommendation: Take '00's or modern wrestlers and place them in either late '90's WCW or WWE Who they might feud with, where they would fit better, etc.
I really enjoyed the HBK Appreciation Night episode of Raw because HBK, despite his antics over the years in the business, deserved the Ric Flair treatment in 2010 the night after WMXXVI. But he couldn't get a Ric Flair sendoff in 2010 because the last time the WWE gave an over-the-top or gigantic send off to a "retiring" wrestler (i.e. Ric Flair in 2008), that wrestler went to TNA. Not saying HBK would have even thought about going to TNA, but I can understand the WWE not giving HBK the Ric Flair treatment in 2010. That being said, HBK should have still gotten one in 2010, but at least they made up for it in 2012.
I grew up on wrestling from 2007-2017. I loved the yes movement era as a kid and the crowd reactions for daniel bryan and the shield were great. But my GOODNESS WWE is so much more popular and quality now, with way better crowds. Once Daniel bryan got injured, WWE didnt have a single young star who was a draw, they just relied on cena, taker and brock. Now they have all those and young stars who draw like cody, roman, seth, rhea, becky, la knight, etc. I always tell people not to take the current era for granted, because it could disappear at any time. 5 years ago, we thought wwe would never be good like it is now. Sure, its no attitude era and it never will be, but i think a lot of fans should let the past go and appreciate what we have.
The word attraction is a word I have familiarized myself more with as it pertains to pro wrestling. And that’s exactly what these special episodes of Raw were they were attraction shows meant to have you tune in to see what would happen because this particular show is more special then others because it’s an anniversary show, a season premiere show and etc. I get wanting to draw viewers in making a show seem special but maybe give them something of substance when you do.
I dont know who would complain about the Old School Raw and other legends shows. They were fun, a change of pace and most importantly a ratings draw. That's why they had so many. It is somehow forgotten but the Punk-Bryan era of WWE started a major ratings slide that continued until the last couple of years. They needed those boosts of the past with Hogan and others to get some eyes on the product and the shows being discussed again. I dont remember a lot of complaining about those shows, of course besides the ones who always criticized anything WWE did. But not many fans complained except the whiners that thought they could book better. These became the AEW fans and we see how that has turned out.
Also, im a hugeeee roman reigns fan, but even in kayfabe, him winning superstar of the year in 2014 over brock and daniel bryan was silly. Roman hadnt even won a world title yet, and he won the award over a guy who ended the streak and destroyed cena to win the unified world titles in that same year? No wonder fans turned on roman so quickly lol
The Raw 1000 episode was a great episode. That's where the Punk heel turn happens
The cena punk match sucked
I loved the pile driver. Commentary made it even better
I was at Raw 1000 in the 3rd row. First WWE show I ever went to. Had a blast.
@@pleaseshutup7053no it didn’t lol
That wasn't that match bud. That wasnt till February@@cameroncola
Raw 1000 was honesly the last special episode that had a unique and electric feel to it, from the start to the closing shot.
It's crazy looking back not too, too long ago and noticing how many of these performers are no longer with us...
Rey Mysterio's face @8:49 really made me laugh for some reason.
When will WWE do a Steve Blackman 4 hr appreciation special???
Or how about a 3 hour chinlock appreciation special? With honorable mention of the nerve pinch and back rake
I remember when I was younger i rewatched raw 1000 like a literal 100 times
RAW 1000 was the first WWE show I went to live. Sat in the 3rd row that the hard cam faces. It felt like something special in the building that night in St Louis. I had a damn blast. Its still fun to go back and rewatch it.
Sandow as X-Pac was such an amazing sight, definitely pulled it off well
The start of permanent three hour Raws
Sad really ruined raw no way in watching 3 hour raw live every week
Was just watching Worst Rated WCW Matches when this popped up. It was perfect timing.
Could not click fast enough. Wrestling Bios is the only channel i would stop watching something else on RUclips for.
I literally just did ✌🏻
Omigosh I dislike YT comment sections so much now.
Doing tricks on the meat huh
My god stop simping for a RUclips channel
@@gsesquire3441seriously so fn cringe.
I hardly remember any of these shows, but I remember all the Monday Night war shows.
Thanks for this one! I didn't follow wrestling during this era so it's nice to catch up with it a bit 🎉
Wrestling Bios uploads when I'm here for it, now that's VERY SPECIAL!
My wife and I attended the raw roulette in Vegas while she was pregnant. When the rock came out and started his posing was the first time she felt our son kick lol.
Electrifying
⚡⚡⚡
The 2012 Christmas Raw episode was awesome.
This is when things really started going down for the most part
Knowing what we now know, it makes sense why Vince loved using poop in gags..
Love your content, man. Thanks for all the entertainment, it’s gotten me through some horrible times.
Praying for you brother
@@eargutz Appreciate it, bro. Mighty kind of ya.🤘🏼
Triple H dancing with The New Day was hilarious
10:48 can you do an episode on the "Yes" movement? I haven't paid attention to wrestling since the ruthless aggression era and while I've heard a lot about Daniel Bryan I don't really know the story and would appreciate a Wrestling Bios perspective on it.
Wrestling Bios really the RUclips GOAT
Maybe if Jim Cornette withdrew himself from the running
Lol be funny to hear Jim do part of one with him
The hardest working man on RUclips. I appreciate your videos brother.
I needed this. These were the years I've been absent.
This era of wwe had some hit and miss episodes.
Seeing New Day in 2015 again, they were the absolute best thing about wwe that year, would love a vid of their heel run.
The start of the years when I gave up watching wrestling, and I’ve certainly not missed anything
the championship ascension ceremony on raw in 2013 is easily my favorite episode of raw that was such an awesome moment the occupy raw segment 10-years ago was phenomenal i remember the raw after royal rumble 2015 quite vividly because there was a massive snowstorm in the connecticut area JBL doing the weather outside still makes me laugh 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Looking back on this era reminds me how spoiled we are with the current era of wrestling
I've been here since 11k subscribers. Crazy seeing you at almost 500k subs. Well deserved
Can we stop for a second and appreciate how great that intro package was?? Like why is this man and his editors not working for WWE?? Simply an amazing intro package. Very well done, WB.
Na let him cook on his own. You wouldn’t want WWE to change his style and how he does things.
@@Wolf813921 you know what, that’s fair. His individual stuff is what makes him unique
Always here for Bios’ drops!
The Championship Ascension Ceremony is one of my favourite segments of all time.
Here i am watching the monday night wars on dvd and this shows up. What a day
Wrestling bio's is among the best channels ❤
I remember when 3 hours of Raw used to be special.
TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT
My buddy was front row for the Raw Hogan Birthday party. It you watch it you'll see Chael Sonnen applauding Brock while he is about to get into the ring to confront the legends.
I actually went to the Hulk Hogan appreciation night in Portland. I found out that Robin Williams died while I was in line to get into the arena
Thank you for another awesome video, take care too good sir
A Tuesday wrestling bios vid drop oh hell yeah let’s go
I remember Occupy Raw having its origin with the failed CM Punk hijack as well now that you mention it.
Love this channel
I was at the Christmas show in Austin, Texas!
My favorite moment had to be the Undertaker calling out Triple H for another WrestleMania rematch, thus striking a nerve with The Game by saying Shawn Michaels was better. Plus The Deadman cutting his hair on a weekly basis while watching his WM28 match was absolutely spine-tingling

man, everytime i see one of your video's im like "Dope, day has been made" fucken, Thank you man, just for being you and doing everything you've done!
Jesus, these episodes are even that old, and so many people in them are no longer with us.
I also had tix for that cancelled snow Raw.
14:02 Wasn’t this where Seth almost got killed by the cage?
I was at Raw 1000. Awesome night. I love pro wrestling weddings. They always end in disaster. My favorite part of the right actually happened before the show. I had made a sign naming Charles Robinson the King Of Referees. Lil Natch saw it and had me come up to the barricade so he could autograph it.
That Raw theme song was hella underrated imo
Crazy seeing muttonchop punk turn into 3 piece Phil
I miss Raw roulette. It kept things fun and interesting. I think it would work great in this Era of WWE that we're in now
7:58 Woods' original moustache just looked so wrong.
Man I have a love/hate relationship with this era of RAW as someone born in the year 2001
the secret book/ movie is great btw it changed alot in me when i watched it at like 15 in high school
The product was not good during this time the authority ruined tv. Punk left. Bryan got injured
I would say that the Authority didn’t get super obnoxious until 2015. As a foil for Daniel Bryan and a launchpad for Seth as a heel, they worked well.
The Usos used to look a lot cooler when they rocked face paint.
It would have been realllll dope if they came out for their mania match wearing their old gear they used as a tag team together for so long.
Anything could have helped their match lol.
One of these episodes happened on mt 21st birthday which was Raw 1000
CM Punk in Ribera Steakhouse jacket was awesome
Crazy weird fact... I was in the same jail Brian Christopher killed himself in right around the same time I can't remember if I was in the actual jail and he was just in the 1 week holding area but I remember it completely blew my mind at the time and it was surreal
This was only 10 years ago, yet everyone looks like they’ve aged 20 years 😳
Charlie Sheen talking about WWE was hilarious
Man, those poop gags hit a little different these days…
I remember seeing the Bret Hart hommage on TV. Pat patterson got down on a knee to shake Bret's hand. Then Bret said on the mic he was à little nervous cause he tought Pat wanted to marry him 😂😂
Does anyone remember the segment from the Blizzard of 2015 where Dean Ambrose Kayfabe walked into Titan Tower? Great Character building.
Raw 1000 was actually really good
Dropping confetti and balloons on Dolph Eric and Ryback is the pettiest thing any that a McMahon/Helmsley has ever done
Man this was a dark time in Raw history.
Hey B. Will you start to cover co temporary wrestling once RTW is finished? I’d love to hear your take on modern storylines and wrestlers.
I think people hate that Christmas Raw because it was beyond ridiculous. Nobody had a problem with them doing a Christmas Raw, it was just the way they went about it.
Video recommendation:
Take '00's or modern wrestlers and place them in either late '90's WCW or WWE
Who they might feud with, where they would fit better, etc.
I don't know why but my main takeaway from this video is how the hell did all this happen either 10 or more years ago lol time flies
These were some dark times for Raw. Unwatchable
I never realized 3hr Raw started 12 years ago.
9:50 Given his propensity for bleeding & hardcore stuff now, I half wonder if he's hoping the snake bites him.
I really enjoyed the HBK Appreciation Night episode of Raw because HBK, despite his antics over the years in the business, deserved the Ric Flair treatment in 2010 the night after WMXXVI. There's a LOT of these taking place in Texas
WWE needs to start acknowledging Jimmy cornette
I didn't realize it's been over a decade now that RAW has been 3 hours. It's just too much
I grew up on wrestling from 2007-2017. I loved the yes movement era as a kid and the crowd reactions for daniel bryan and the shield were great. But my GOODNESS WWE is so much more popular and quality now, with way better crowds.

The 2014 season premiere is where Rollins almost got impaled by the cage.
That poop spot was Vince's idea huh?
It would be cool to see hunter grow the hair out again lol.
"to slap his snake on top of Dean Ambrose" Whoa buddy relax there 😅
Raw should always be a 2 hour show.
they should hire wrestling bios do the music over def rebel
I never clicked on a video so fast in my life 😂

“the 2014 slam my awards were hosted by seth green” uhh… why?😭🤣
I wish there bring back roulet ones
@4:15 right there is that patented Vince humor….which has aged like goat cheese with recent history
The shows where not even special if my opinion
Also, im a hugeeee roman reigns fan, but even in kayfabe, him winning superstar of the year in 2014 over brock and daniel bryan was silly. Occupy Raw took place in Memphis, TN, not Chicago, IL.
