Haha “tfs” i thought it was something else 😭 😂
I absolutely love this tutorial! I arm knitted a blanket before, but I didn't love it as much as this. My arms are just too fat to arm knit and the stitches end up being too big lol. This was way easier and so much prettier. Thank you!
Thank you! Glad you like our video!
I like the way you have this up close and easy to see.

Great video thanks!!!
Well, I made it through!! And I did pretty "yarn" well 😅😉 Even if my back is killing me LOL 🙄😅
My yarn was completely different...like a very soft fluffy wool (all I had at home), next time I try this kind of yarn and at least I have some practice now!! Got a question though. How come mine Only show the yarn cables on the frontside and not backside??! Is it maybe because I didn't go through the loop Twisted??
Glad you made a beautiful blanket! This is the pattern showing "yarn cables" on the front and not ont he back.
Hello, I just subscribed to your channel....I love your in depth videos on how to make chunky blankets. I am new to this and would like to try my first one, I’d like to know how to determine how much yarn I’d need for a specific size and how to determine how long my first chain needs to be to get a certain size? Thank you
Hello, glad you like our videos! You can see how many skeins needs to be purchased at the description for the chunky and jumbo chenille o our website: becozi.net/collections/chunky-chenille-yarn. The description also has the information on how to calculate the amount of stitches to start
I’ve tried literally everything never understood how anyone else explains it except her, thank you Jesus for making this simple enough for me , forever grateful
Thank you Amber!
Will for sure be buying yarn!
@@amboninthehood15 Sounds good!
Don’t know if the quality of this chenille is the same, but I bought 2 jumpers years ago and it didn’t wash well. It left big patches where the material came out.
Give that chenille blanket to me it looks so soft
This looks beautiful.
Will the knots stay together even after washing this blanket?
Thank you barbara
If they are connected in a correct way which we are showing in one of our videos or on becozi.net/videos
Hi! I loved your video! It was super easy to follow and very detailed. I just have a question.. how many balls of yarn did you use? I'm planning on making a small blanket.
Thank you! Please, visit our website for the information on amount needed for different sizes: becozi.net/collections/chunky-chenille-yarn

What if you want to make your blanket bigger? Like 50×70??
Thank you for your video. It turned out beautiful💗. Can't wait to try it. I hope Walmart carries that yarn.
Darlene, Jumbo chenille yarn is custom created for BeCozi company. It is available only on our website: becozi.net
Love this tutorial you explained it a lot better than anyone else.
What did you do with the side loops? Ty
Skipping every first stitch
What do you do with not from when you started.
@@teresaolis8433 Video shows every single step I am making.
Can I make this with thinner chenille?
Please help me with my questions. First you’ve been a great help, especially explaining how many lengths of the chenille needed to cast off at the end. However, I do not know how many loops I need to make for a queen size blanket with the measurements of 90x88” with the smaller chenille you had shown at the beginning of this video. It’s half the size of the one you used here. In addition, what is the reason why you flip the blanket after the very first row? I have also seen people not flip it and go to the second or third loop on the second row. Is there a reason why you go directly to the first loop?
I’d really appreciate any of your help. Thank you for a great video, it was a big help to me.
Hello, thank you for watching our videos. For smaller chenille - chunky chenille - we have different videos. You can find it on our RUclips channel: ruclips.net/user/becozi. Click on Videos to see all videos or enter How to make a blanket with chunky chenille yarn - and you will see all videos for chunky chenille yarn. The width of a blanket for chunky chenille yarn is calculated by diving the width by 1.8. I do not flip a blanket, not sure what you mean. I am making a chain and then out the first row and then hand knit from side to side.
How many skeins would I need for a 48x72 blanket? Also when one skein runs out and it’s time to use another do you just knot them together ?
You will need 13 skeins. Just a simple knot to connect the yarn. Make it tight tp prevent unraveling when the blanket is used
Hi, thank you for these instructions! Great tutorial!!
Question on your wool hanging in the back on the wall! Absolutely beautiful, did you make that? Do you have a video on how to do so? Didn’t see one on your channel, do you have instructions?! Would love to tackle something like that next!
Laura, glad you like our wool hanging! Yes, we make those. Did not have a video yet but will definitely make one!
How do weave the ends. When washing and drying they may pop out?
Hide them in between the stitches. Chenille yarn is very fluffy, it stuck under the stitches very tight
Thanks but I cannot make it
Het, it is so cute! where did you get these type of yarns? 😍
becozi.net/collections/chunky-chenille-yarn
how do you wash these? hand wash? I want it to stay fluffy and fuzzy :)
Jumbo chenille yarn blanket can be washed in a washing machine, cold water with a full load. It can be dried in a dryer on medium heat.
YES...🙏🥰🌎🧶💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🧶🌎🥰🙏
Where can l get that chucky marina wool
Who do you combat against forgetting where to put your hands cuz it is all the same color so it blends? For instance the purple color. I can’t really see what I am doing.
What is the name of the color of this jumbo chenille yarn you are using?
Fabulous video I thought you said you need five or six balls of chenille and I didn’t see you integrate any balls into each other how do you start a new ball?
Dawn, I am showing how to connect the balls inside the video: making a simple knot and then make sure it very tight. Then cut the ends of the yarn close to the knot
Around 3:53 she shows how to connect two different yarn pieces. Though she does it with one short yarn piece. Just imagine it's two different yarns connecting.
What are you supposed to do with the extra loop you leave in the first row (casting on)?
I am not leaving it, I am knitting it when the row starts
@@BeCozi Ok, thanks.
How come on the start of the second row u didn’t skip a stitch like on all the other rows?
The second row when starting from the left is the only time when I am not skipping the first stitch
Good
great teacher!!! hard to find the middle knot on 2nd row
Thank you! The middle knot is in the middle of a stitch: there is a top part of a stitch and a bottom one - knot is in the middle.
No shedding? No pilling? Hallelujah
No shedding, no pilling
Start at 3:20
What is this stitch called when you are using knitting needles?
Knit stitch
How many rows are in the throw blanket size? I want to make a stripped one but kind of want the rows to be even.
Here is a video showing how to make a Jumbo chenille blanket in stripes with even rows: ruclips.net/video/5o2yr1ieklk/видео.html
Hi, I want to make one, but the stitches are so far apart. How can I make it tighter and a bit more dense. How much more yarn would I need?
The stitches need to be knitted smaller, this way the blanket will be knitted tighter and more dense. You will need more yarn for knitting tighter: 1-2 skeins more
im learing so i can make more and more and more so i can sell them to my family :)
Gustaría las instrucciones en español gracias
I wanted to make blankets for shelters would they come apart of I gave them to dogs
Jumb chenille is strong and durable. becozi.net/collections/chunky-chenille-yarn
I'm just wondering, at the end of the video, how do you ensure the tail wont come undone?
I make a knot on the end of the yarn and then weave the end in in between the stitches by attaching the knot to one of the stitches
How can I buy the yarn ?
Hi..I just watched another of your videos with this jumbo yarn..in the other video you said I needed 6 skeins for a 35x60 inch blanket..in this video you said I need 3 skeins. Please clairfy..so I know how many JUMBO skeins I need. Thank you!
Hello Linda, for a Jumbo chenille blanket 35x60 inches you will need 6 skeins of Jumbo chenille if knitting loosely, 7 skeins if knitting tighter.
I only ordered 2 of the same ones oops! Will it be okay?
Two skeins? It will be enough for a small baby blanket.
How can you make your loops the same size.
Watching making loops about 2 inches each
Love it!!!
Thank you!
I want to make it bed size big how many skeins do I need
For a big size, 50x60 inches, you will need 9-10 skeins
How many skins of your do you need to hand knit a baby blanket for a baby girl for a baby shower
3 skeins of Jumbo chenille yarn at becozi.net/collections/chunky-chenille-yarn
what is the name of the color yarn you used in the thumbnail?
Gray and Cloud
if you always skip the last stitch one is at the bottom and no where near the others? is i stopped doing that . confused about that only
never mind i figured out what i was doing wrong
I skip the first stitch at the beginning of every row starting with the second row.

Do you know How much yarn would I need? (I’m 5’8)
13 skeins
where did you buy that yarn.

I was looking at this yarn on your website, and I was a bit confused on the "lower quality" chenille yarn. Why are some colors considered "lower quality"?
Is this ok for baby blankets? If so how many skeins for a baby blanket?
This yarn is the best for baby blankets! Three skeins needed for a 25x30 inches baby blanket. Find it here: becozi.net/collections/chunky-chenille-yarn
