The lack of content is the main reason for decline everything else is minor. You can’t give 1 new character or rework every 3 to 6 months a map every other year and honestly believe that’s enough content. The meta hardly changes and half the characters have become obsolete or extremely boring to play. We need major reworks every season not surface level things

I agree that playing any other thing besides comp doesn’t seem worth playing I think for season 22 or future season they need to come up with a reason to grind Apex
maps do not matter at all, map changes, map updates, they don't get players to stay in the game, you learn the map within 10-15 games and it ends up like any other lobby, new weapons don't add anything, new perks don't add anything, we have seen all of these changes over the years and it doesn't keep people playing, the current player base that maintains its player count are players that just like the feel of the game, they like the PvP the game offers, that is what keeps their retention, cheaters and teaming are what is killing the game, no amount of updates, changes, content will save the game until the cheater problem gets addressed, its the same reason Team fortress died out, wasn't because the overall game was bad or even a lack of content, it was cheaters and server problems, and with roller players being near 70% of the player base and 1 out of 4 roller players having nearly a 20% higher accuracy than the top MnK players makes most any fight feel like soft aimbot, which was not the case just a couple years ago, when the top pred MnK players have nearly 20% less accuracy than gold roller players there is maybe a problem with giving to much assistance.

I think towards the end of the last season, when I realized I couldn't get the flatline skin because i hadn't sent enough gifts, that almost made me drop the game entirely lol now I just don't care as much for aesthetics. But it really hurt. So many incentives throughout the season only to get screwed out of the skin at the end was a bit soul crushing
I'm still enjoying the game personally. I don't come across cheaters and I'm just focused on improving. Alter has been a nice addition to the legend pool. Also, vault the charge rifle and give us a new gun in the loot pool.
Feel like Vantage would actually be good on this map, purely because of how much verticality this map seems to have. Of course this also applies to Horizon as well, but I believe Vantage tac actually can go higher than Horizons lift can.
Dude can you imagine the skybox being like this evening but dark enough to be nighttime And it's mostly lit by the neons of the buildings? I would honestly love this, We have a night time map in mirage voyage on mixtape, High time battle royale has a proper nighttime map with good lighting
That new battle pass is actually going to be taking a huge reason why I even log onto the game every week. Apex has lost the spice that that it once had for me and the battle pass is the only reason why I would even log on once and maybe twice a week, but now I have no reason to play it past its first week of the season

The new map looks like a combo of the "War Games" map and other maps from TitanFall 2. 👀 To save it, I think they should bring in a small-scale TDM like what we saw in TF2. Just my opinion. XD
It’s hard to hold on hope for this game to get better but they just don’t listen to their players. I feel like I’ve been saying this for too long and way too many times, but hopefully this season is better
They already have a 4 person trident. Just put shiela on the back. All they really have to do is allow people to sit there regardless of if shiela is there or not.
Imma be honest this map is gonna be brutal on controller players. With the massive vertical it seems to have good luck hitting your shots without micro adjustments.
Apex is the best battle royale of all time. Everything bad with it is because of EA. Apex is still alive either because of genuine fans who love the game, the content creators and the pros. They know exactly whats wrong with the game and yet they ignore the problems and continue milking the game for money. EA should be ashamed for ruining such a good game. They don't care about Apex or Titanfall they just greedy for the money.
I'll still continue to play. Put way too much money into my account. Still have fun. But did all the quads challenges and didn't get the final badge. It was so hard to get 4 people together. 😢
The map looks cool and I'm interested in the changes to Lifeline (though I think she's in a good spot now), but honestly the whole Battle Pass nonsense is going to drive me away. $20 for a full season is just stupid, especially since you can't use Apex coins now, only cash.
One way to get huge influx of players would be to have a map, legend and a wepon release next season, but that's probably not going to happen. Although August has always been time where players come back to Apex so I'm hopeful. I just hope we'll get some fixes for major issues community complains about like cheating state and etc.
Apex is one of the most team based battle royale games out right now. To make the game better there needs to be a way to improve the team play aspect of apex. Yes, district will change the playability of the game for suree but the main reason why people quit or fall off apex is because it is frustrating playing with teammates who are always out of sync and have contrasting play-styles that lead to terrible in game experiences. There needs to be a way to improve this area in apex or else the game will die slowly.
They can add all they want but until the game stops putting me up against pred/Master players in every single match I’m not gonna bother. Kind of hard to have fun when you don’t even stand a chance of winning or doing good in every match you play…..
I just they made made tap strafing a game mechanic for all inputs. Ill admit neo strafing on controller is cheesy but i want to at least be able to choose where i land when i wall bounce. Keep it hard to master but make accessible for everyone.

If they don't split the input like Overwatch ranked, this game will lose interest for a lot of players. No one wants to play against overpowered aim assist that acts like a legit aimbot.
