➤About Shapez.io game
shapez.io is a game about building factories to automate the creation and processing of increasingly complex shapes across an infinitely expanding map.
Upon delivering the requested shapes you'll progress within the game and unlock upgrades to speed up your factory.
As the demand for shapes increases, you'll have to scale up your factory to meet the demand - Don't forget about resources though, you'll have to expand across the infinite map!
Soon you'll have to mix colors and paint your shapes with them - Combine red, green and blue color resources to produce different colors and paint shapes with them to satisfy the demand.
This game features 18 progressive levels (Which should already keep you busy for hours!) but I'm constantly adding new content - There's a lot planned!
Purchasing the game gives you access to the standalone version which has additional features, and you'll also receive access to newly developed features.

He said "control left click" and I said dedicated turning lanes
i read that with biffa's voice lmao
Hugo?
"This is so badly organized but, you know what? I really don't care."
What did you do with Biffa? Bring him back, now!
😁
Trouble is there are no rocks, trees, and fences to place down to prettify it.
... when Biffa realises how long intersection lane marking is actually going to take ...
😜
So Biffa really DOES play indie games! Love it 😆
It's true 😁👍
It'd be funny if he started only playing games based on Indiana Jones or the Indianapolis 500.
Dycedarg's Elder Brother absolutely 💀😂

Biffa in november: Fixing traffic in Cyberpunk 2077.
Biffa needs to play Factorio. He can fix the train traffic 😂.
I was thinking about that too😂
Roundabouts are harder in Factorio, though. Not sure if that's been fixed since 0.16.
@@MMuraseofSandvich They ain't bad now as long as you know how to signal it properly.
watches the start: this is pretty interesting, I might give it a go.
sees the other map: I don't wanna anymore...
What a neat looking game and an amazing price point for a puzzle/factory type game.

Biffa: "You can see this is backing up, this stacker, we could use..."
Me: "ooh! I know, I know, a roundabout!"
Biffa: "more stackers"
Me: "awwww"
:)
😂
Pleasantly suprised to see a notification for your indies game channel. Thanks :) I like Skylines but I like seeing new games with new ideas too.
👍
Just a matter of time before we get a traffic fixes for this game.
(Btw the lack of Hugo is disturbing)
surprisingly, later in this game that actually becomes an issue. The "balancer" is actually a divider as well, so if you dump a 20item/sec belt into one you get 2 10item/sec streams out. put those into the balancers again, and you get 5items/sec, etc. etc. So there is only so much cutting of streams you can do.
wait this isn't cities skylines
as u can see
You can imagine those shapes as traffic and close enough.
It's SimCity, isn't it?
@@koko-lores its SimCity buildit
Well done, have a cookie 😜
Biffa:This is really backed up, so you know what I'm going to do?
Me: Add a roundabout?
Biffa:..no
Me: :'(
Whaaaa?! No cities skylines episode?!😭😭😭😭 Saturday ruined!
This game looks very interesting but maybe you could make a save from scratch so that we can follow along with how things progress.
Personally I found myself not really caring about the video because I didn't get what was going on/ not seeing how it build up.
just some friendly(hopefully) feedback.
I watched through a bit of it and was wondering what I was looking at. Watched a bit more and still didn't know so gave up LOL
Sorry Biffa, you do you, but this game isn't for me :D
Thanks for the feedback 👍
I can summarise.
Map could be infinite and there's possibly all different shapes and their variants, but no stacks.
You start with basic tools, you get more tools and more upgrades in them the more required objects you bring to the hub.
The hub the upgrades for each category gives more tools, variants and upgrades to them.
Upgrade list required blocks change every 5 tiers so at 6th tier you might need new set of blocks.
You might not get through some of them until you get the right tool first.
I had I thought I needed million blocks prepared at some point but.... based on video it might be more at lvl 76...
There's 4 stacks and all pretty much use different form of base block.
4x4x4x4x160k = 40.96 million parts... I guess I need to add more lanes so I dont run out of parts midway...
I'm at lvl 17 so I might have time to do that... and Tier VI upgrades are impossible to my knowledge atm.
Same shape as in the logo so I guess tutorial is soon done...
@@JMIK1991 So.. is it like a moving puzzle?
@@JMIK1991 I understand the rules of the game but when you fall in the middle of the game, especially if you don't know the game it's just a bunch of things moving around
Biffa: uploads a new video.
Me: Let's have some Cities Skylines,, yay. Look at that traffic. oh no, wait! (realisation), Biffa also plays other Indie Games. 😂😂😂
This moment you get excited about a new Biffa video , and then find out it's not cities skylines 😢
You released this 2 days ago, I bought it and am now on level 15. I am really enjoying this game. Thanks for the video about this. If I could share my save with you I would. :) It is just some good fun. Thanks.
Yoooo notif squad, I thought it's city skylines tho. But okay. Lol
Now I'm convinced you're actually on the city planning council. Staff meetings must be a blast if you're in charge of the power point presentations. Tea and donuts for everyone!
Honestly,I love your videos, but I am here for cities skylines as I feel yours are the most enjoyable city building videos on YT. I actually learn stuff from you as far as the mods you use,and how to use them.I never miss a video.
This game looks amazing can't wait to see more of this and watch you start a new save walking us through how it works
Thanks Biffa. This is a great game! Played the demo, bought the stand-alone. Lost all track of time. Now puzzling through Level 17. Tricky this one.
Id love to watch you build a factory from scratch!
And ignore all those people saying you can only do CS, you should play whatever games are bringing you joy right now !
😁👍
Nice maneuvering between games.
What ever Biffa and the tea makes is great.
Thankyou 😁
I started playing Shapez because of this video. I’m already up to level 17. It’s one of my favourite new games
this last factory is NUTS!! O_O this guy should be hired by real companies and design the production lines! :) :)
This is basically digital (chip) design. Brilliant!
No matter what you play, you make it fun. Thanks for that. ☺️
Thankyou 😁
I've been playing the game and just bought it on steam. Great price for the game. I hear an update is coming out soon as well. Love these little games with a few developers making the whole project.
As far as making the belts all "efficient" I don't think that matters as much as making it work first, and look nice in your own way after that. I think making lines of shapes ready to be cut, colored, stacked etc is good to ensure they are not waiting for a shape. There are always upgrades that will change the speed of something and having "just enough" will be not enough. I would like to see more of this game if you enjoy it and need a change of pace from city traffic.
I just bought this game because of this video, and I can already tell I'm going to spend TONS of time in it!
👍
Thanks for showing off this game! I most likely would not have seen this otherwise. Definitely going to add this to my library of games for only $3!
Thanks for showing this game. It's not often gaming youtubers change it up a little to bring us something new. Think I might pick this one up. It's only $3.99!
I can't believe I never heard of this game before, yet watching Biffa play it instantly made me grab 3€ and feel good cause I get to play a new interesting game for the price of a pint at a bar. Thanks Biff!
I guess City Traffic was too much for him.
I can't wait for Hugo's return in 'Fix your Factory'.
SO update: I now played the game up to the point where Biffa started recording (took me 3 hours to get there) And it totally makes sense! This is where the game starts to get really interesting because in the beginning hours, you're just progressing to unlock new game mechanics and speed improvements. If you are even slightly interested in what you see, just go ahead and spend those 3 euro's, dollars, pounds or whatever you use. The game will gradually explain itself and everything will literally fall into place. :-)
Wow! The complexity you can reach starting with basic shapes and colours is astonishing! I can't spend time playing games, so... Go for it Biffa!
👍
Bought this game literally 30s after beginning watching this video and spent 6 hours straight on it 😅 thank you Biffa ? 🤣
You're welcome 👍
Thanx Biffa - looks like something worth a try!
Biffa, the layer one shapes for blueprints can spawn naturally. so just paint those blue and stack a white circle on them. Though i guess that wouldn't have been quite as interesting.
I'm glad you featured a cool new game! I recently bought factorio (which is AMAZING, don't get me wrong - very similar to this but in a rendered/natural environment with real-world items), but I always play on a peaceful mode because I don't care for the part of the game in which you have to defend your factory from aggressive bug-like biters. This game looks like it'll scratch that same itch and it's only four dollars?? A steal. I like that it's not just pure creative mode, but that you have new challenges to take on and optimize. Thanks for the rec!
You're welcome 👍😁
Biffa, please don’t listen to all the negativity! I loved this episode, please do more! I’m going to buy it on Monday!
Ever since you made this video public a few days ago I've been hooked on this game. First night I went to bed at 1am!
After my initial spaghetti conveyor belt contraptions had pretty much blocked up all the available room around the hub I decided to delete everything and start building from a blank canvas, and it has so far worked really well. I do need to make more colour combinations though as I'm running out of the ones I need for various things, but I'm getting pretty good at it.
I'm awaiting the update in the next couple of days, and I have a friend who is into electronics so I hope to introduce him to it fairly soon too. It would be interesting to see him make a machine to make everything the hub requires.
I've now been playing this game for about 4 hours straight after watching this video last night. Having a blast with it. Reminds me a lot of TIM, The Incredible Machine, from many many years ago. Just simplified.
I saw you play this game and immediately fell in love with it. Saw the price and bought it. Thanks for bringing this game to the light! Took me longer than i care to admit to work out that blue and white figure you showed. Please keep up the great work! (Maybe consider doing some ONI again?)
Join the club. I'm completely hooked. spent so much time playing I almost forgot to post a like. Thank biffa. My weekend has gone.
My brain can't handle the complexity of the shapes needed in level 76
Thanks for the change of pace and suggestion, Biffa - just bought it.
With the new update (wires), i have made a automatic machine! It´s receive from the hub the pattern demanded, auto make and delivery! It´s huge too!
I love Shapez.io! It's so fun. Can't wait for the new updates.
Actually brought this game after watching this video! Well worth the money!
👍
Biffa....... I got this game as soon as I saw your post and I've been playing it nonstop since. You've ruined my productivity bro 🤣
Thank you for suggesting this game. I bought it and it's amazing!
I'm intrigued by this game, I agree with the other comments saying we should see you play from scratch!
Maybe 👍
@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines got my fingers crossed!
should keep playing this game, i would watch it
Thanks you for showing this game! I played it all day long, I plipping love it!
2019 - Biffa fixes traffic in Cities: Skylines
2020 - Biffa fixes traffic in Shapez.io
2021 and further - Biffa fixes traffic in every game
Gta
I can't stop seeing Factorio
"The hub has 12 inputs.."
Don't worry, 4x4 is hard for a lot of us Biffa
On a very abstract level you can learn how to programmatically solve problems. You have a goal, you have input and you need to create the transforming / processing part in the middle.
In the end you learn basics on how to create software. Cool stuff and maybe a bit of the intention why this game was created.
I saw this video yesterday. It looked intriguing. Bought it, yesterday morning, and promptly lost the rest of the day. This game is the bees knees!! Biffa, that shape you made in this video, is actually something you can find on the map itself...you just have to look for it. The one shape I couldn't find and had to make was the pinwheel.
Hi Biffa! I’ll love to see this as a series on your channel!
Thanks Biffa - another game to take up alllllll my spare time... :)
You should totally check out Shapez 2 that was released not to long ago.
Love this game! It's great visual representation of what coding is like.
I'd love to see what efficient factories you come up with!
Not likely Biffa will see this, but, if you think this is impressive, I’ve got quite some thing for you! Get some extra RAM and stuff before you open my factory!
My eyes! The colors are hurting me!
Yay! Love seeing you get to play more games.
First thought was factorio. Second is satisfactory.
I guarantee, he will build a roundabout!
So was playing the browser version yesterday, today I bought the full version :D
I've been getting deep into automation games recently, so this was great to watch.
I want to build a machine like this, but I'm waiting for the wires update. It'll have a sensor to 'read' the shape that the hub wants, so it will compile the shape needed automatically.
I'd enjoy watching you design factories and reach goals as long as Hugo gets a mention
This reminds me a lot of factorio. If you like this game I'm sure you would enjoy it as well
wel now biffa needs to make roundabouts of the maps :D time to send him broken stuff
Thank you Biffa! I have now purchased this game and have paid around 65p per hour of gameplay. I expect this to fall significantly.
When I saw them place the white circles to the left of the blue shape, I knew immediately it would be the wrong way round. idk why but my brain took note how they were oriented. And I’ve barely played this game.
Make a save game for all of your cities skyline cities😏🇬🇧 spread the word
Looks like a great way to relax and take your mind from any stress from the world. Looks great and a builder to be basic. Just get some shapes and colors and mix them. Then make it as efficiently as possible. Looks like a great way to learn basic logic. Children compatibility. Looks great
I always watch your cities skylines videos while drinking coffee on Saturdays...luckily I still need to catch up on the last one.
🙄
man i cant wait for cities skylines episode!! Hope your day is great. Greetins from Croatia
ImKibitz did a video on this! It looks amazing.
Factorio without the natural enviroment and nasty bug enemies. Great game also! Ty for showing it to us! +1 on Steam Library to play when I not ruin a city on C:S. 😁
Im so excited to see this on your channel! I got hooked on it although I hit a roadblock thats been quite frustrating. But hopefully I can eventually get it figured out.
More of this please. :-)
Thanks for making me discover some new game! Yesterday I saw the video and today I bought the game (and played 3 hrs this afternoon!)
I’d like to watch more about this, but I think that videos on this game would be more tutorial-like... but maybe the will be some need to watch them (to understand how to pass levels!!) 😂
I started playing this the day after you posted this vid... wow. Falls under the category of "easy to learn, hard to master" for sure. And there's more coming?! Definitely a bargain for what its priced at.
Great
Now Biffa also plays it
Now
Let's see how to build the final item
Pssst! Biffa plays Factorio, you'd love it.
Just brought this game. Thank you biffa!
👍
Good discovery... Love the game... It reminds me of "How It's Made" on Discovery.
Oh biffa, played this game and now i'm hooked!
Wow, what a game!
Seems like that map is primed ready to complete that lvl76 hub shape with all the sections stored up. Still going to take a few hours to assemble the end shape though / haha
Been playing the free to play browser version of this and its not a bad game to pass the time
I want to see biffa play factorio with a gridlock that have 100 trains
Looks like a DMT trip!
It would be interesting if you could play this and start from scratch
Me too, have no idea what this is about.. 😕
Biffa Uploads: Kalm
It's not City Skylines: Panik
He's kinda managing traffic: Kalm
Indeed 👍
You can find an uncolored version of the blue part of the blueprint shape (possibly rotated).
And you don't have to make that shape, you can find it naturally.
