- A quick follow-up on the recent confiscation of two AR pistols by California DOJ officers in San Diego. After having posted the video, I've received some communications from people claiming to be law enforcement and some claiming to work directly for the California Department of Justice. I produced this video to pass along what I've learned in the process.

Don’t forget that this goes beyond the 2nd Amendment. This is also a violation of the 5th. Government taking your rightful property without due process. Setting dangerous precedent.
And without just compensation. Tell them they are worth $5,000 each.
Yeah the guy was wrong for registering them. What should've happened, is him use those guns to kill those treasonous oath breaking traitors.
I had someone tell me that law enforcement would Red flag me and seize my weapons because I speak my mind online and will defend myself against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC.
To which I replied, if they wanna die violating my second amendment right and forth amendment right, for exercising my first amendment right, then they are welcome to come die at my hands. I will NOT cower to, or comply with tyrants.

Officer: I believe this is unconstitutional.
Superior: Shut up and do your job.

I wish that would be the case.

It’s not illegal to violate the Constitution...the theory is you comply with the violation (unless it’s an otherwise unlawful order), and let it go thru the courts.
I can see a multitude of potential issues with this aspect of society...
That would correct so much that is wrong in America!
@@Name-ps9fx It is a federal felony, including, but not limited to, 18 USC §§ 241-242. Federal officials and DC-gov't officials are also subject to 5 USC § 7311.
👍😂
That would require men having courage like they used to.
Pssssh.
We are all too fat, complacent and happy to lift a lazy finger these days.
The officers ultimately have a CHOICE. Quit the CA DOJ and go work for a pro constitution Sheriff, for example. Shame on them for carrying out these unconstitutional actions. Sickening.
Their choice is easier than that. They can simply knock, ask, and accept the answer of "no, no guns here" and leave. OR leave empty-handed and say the owner no longer possesses the rifle in question. There are all kinds of ways officers could properly get around this if they were true to their oath.
The correct answer would be for the cops to arrest those who pass or try to pass laws that are deemed to be unconstitutional or might violate the Oath the police took and hold them in prison until the Supreme Court can make a ruling on the law!
It is treason under 18 USC 2381 carrying a 5 year to death sentence penalty, 3 counts, 2nd, 4th and 5th.
Your correct it is a Choice. It is also their DUTY to NOT enforce Unconstitutional Laws.
@Douglas Hamner That is an excellent point, did you ever see the social experiment done decades ago called the Milgram experiment? It shows how some people are willing to kill, even with strong emotional conviction in opposition to the evil being committed on an innocent person, when done under direction and supervision of a "superior authority". The study also pointed out that the proximity of the authority figure has a significant impact on whether or not the participant in the study would obey orders that would harm an individual. It has also been reported in the experiment that this is most likely to be reflected in a real life scenario in regards to military/law enforcement. Less than 2% said they wish they were not part of this experiment and more than 87% were glad to be in it.
"This is their job" is NO excuse. That is what Hitler's and Stalin's soldiers all said.

You making excuses as I stated above, means you will ALSO use those same excuses when you are told to arrest someone for their 1st Amendment rights... or their 4th Amendment rights.. or perhaps they refuse to let you into a home without a warrant and you are ordered to arrest them for that. Violating ONE Constitutional right, means YOU will violate ALL of them. And I don't give a rats ass if it is your job. QUIT. Yeah, that "my roots are to deep" is just as bad of an excuse as "my superiors made me do it".
The 4th Amendment has already been violated, when the police can legally seize your money, and confiscate it, if they even suspect you of illegal activity. The due process is also being violated when they do this, because you dont even need to be found guilty before they seize your property. And, the IRS does the same, if they even suspect you of structuring your bank deposits. The IRS, can legally steal your bank account...or freeze your assets...all by the "ASSUMPTION" you are breaking the law...no due process there, either. And, will take years, and would be very expensive to "prove your innocence".
Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty...beyond a reasonable doubt?

I really appreciate the "instant" updates, they keep me knowledgeable and ahead of the curve
Local law, state law, federal law, and then we have CONSTITUTIONAL LAW (the law of the land)
Any Cop can go to their Union Rep. File a complaint/grievance with the Union. Tell your Rep you want an Attorney since you are being told to violate the Constitution!
Or file a complaint with the ACLU. Believe it or not they Represent a "Word of Law" not politics!
When I was in the military in the mid 70s one of the first things we were tought was it's ok to defi an illegal order. I believe it came about from the Mi Li incident in Vietnam in the early 70s. The time may come when our local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies will have to make the same choice. I truly hope it doesn't come to that, but the constitution supersedes rouge orders . I pray that if that time should come they make the right choice. The second amendment was created to protect this nation from a terranical government, that's why you will never find a socialistic government with that right for it's people.
Amen
Your best bet is, not to let no one know what you have. They also want us to tell on each other. People don't mind their own business anymore.
As a veteran and proud American citizen it deeply saddens me that our country is in the state it is. Thank you for fighting the good fight behind enemy lines
THANK YOU for all the hard work you do for Constitutional RIGHTS...all of them!
After the 2nd Amendment goes into the circular file, the shortsighted anti-gun types will still be stumped about how the U.S. turned into a society like in the movie Minority Report.
Won't make it that far. America has less than 10 years, she is dying right now and has been bleeding out for a while.
Let it burn. The herd could do with a good culling. Let's just ride this trainwreck out and hide our fun stuff until it all falls apart and we can rebuild

Pleasant personality, voice, getting to the point, knowledge
"JUST DOING MY JOB" sounds a lot like "just following orders".
Best video I've seen you do. Right on all points. Thanks for saying so.
Joel, thank you for standing. This may be a good time for people to watch the Nuremberg trails again. History does repeat itself.
Can you imagine what the founding fathers generation would have done to the democrats of today. The image of burning stakes comes to mind
Ropes come to mind
@@loudowney9360 uh huh
Your video is more relevant today than ever before.
in addition to your comment to law-enforcement, I would add that obeying orders that contradict the US Constitution also violate the rights our veterans have fought to maintain and is an insult to those who have paid the ultimate price to ensure those rights.
The Nuremberg defense.
"I vass only followink orders"
I understand what your saying but what good is an AR15 if it is took apart? If someone breaks in my home I'm pretty sure the criminals that break in my home will not give me time to put my AR15 together. Joel no disrespect meant towards you at all but I'm just saying I'm a law abiding citizen and should not have to store my guns in pieces lol. God bless you my friend
I'm watching the video again to see what Joel said, but why would you think about taking a compliant AR (featureless or fixed magazine) apart. They are still legal.
@@seanomeirs8362 I agree 100% that is the reason I went featureless instead of registration
@Michael Miner very true
In a RWOL situation you could still throw your AR together and gfto
I’m sure you have other Guns to protect your self.. you should take them apart because you should be more scared of the police than someone braking in your house.. think about it..
I can't even imagine what its like living in California. Absolutely insanity.
I left The Soviet of Washington for the same sort of reasons!
Hello from Kentucky. You are wise and correct sir! If one falls they all will fall!
Stay strong everyone. Together we stand.
How to avoid confiscation? Return fire!
You wanna boogaloo?
Taking guns away is how you get a boogaloo.
They tried those same excuses during the Nuremberg Trials. It didn’t turn out too well for them, did it?
To me, by far and away, you are the voice of 2A. I appreciate your time and content.
the first rule is do not register. Registration always leads to confiscation.
I did not even have to watch the video to answer- You don't avoid it, you do what our forefathers expected us to do and that is to be prepared to lay down your life with a fight should they come to confiscate. Hopefully it never has to come to that.
someone stole my AR-15 yesterday!
If you don't report that to the feds then you are a felon.
Gun privilege REVOKED
@@michaeltrivette1728 I believe you have 72 hours to report it....after the officer left, the "thief" felt sorry and returned it.....
LOL,, I was thinking at the beginning of the video that the "scouting trip" was to find a new second home for your tools :)
I have worked in law enforcement. To those who try to enforce unconstitutional gun laws: I quote Josey Wales "dying aint much of a living boy". Because eventually they will try it against the wrong person(s).
Local wisdom from over a year ago, a national necessity for 2021.
I had a Superintendent position with a New York corporation, 6 figure salary, company truck, gas credit card, and managing 100 men, a couple of years ago, but when they asked me to build some things not to Code, and more importantly, UNSAFE. I quit on the spot. Kids to raise, and bills to pay. Ignore your principles, and you diminish yourself.
I have a neighbor, on the other hand that works for the Gas company, in a high position. After a bunch of houses exploded last year ( I think around Boston), his company put out a press release stating the problem, and that their company uses different equipment that would prevent this from happening. He told me casually that it's a total lie, and people could be injured or killed, but he's only 2 years away from retirement. If something happens, I feel that he's complicit for not speaking out. Nice guy otherwise, but I lost a lot of respect for him. And he owes me $300, so he avoids me.
P.S. I took him to the Angeles Shooting Range, where he burned thru 100 rds. of 5.56, 100 rds. of.22LR, and a dozen 12g slugs, and gave me $20. Whiney Rant Complete.
sounds like a cheap way out from being around him, consider yourself lucky and keep up his avoiding you
Three words came to mind, he's a POS.
Hey Gun Guy! Outstanding video sir. That part spoken to police really highlighted the problem and the solution. Many thanks.
OUT OF MY COLD DEAD HANDS!
@USA#1 !! CORRECT! & I CAN GET MANY OF THEM BEFORE THEY GET ME
THATS THE POINT HERE BTW, DONT LOOK GOOD FOR ME BUT LOOKS WORSE FOR THEM AS THERES OVER 500 MILLION GUNS IN AMERICA NOW
So right, Gun Guy. Appreciate the great work you are doing.
