Hello friends! Todays video is a huge book haul of all the books I've acquired over the summer. I'm secretly (not so secretly) preparing for autumn already, so a lot of these books are ones that I'm really excited to read during spooky season!
The haul includes a little bit of everything! Mysteries, classics, new releases, middle grade, historical fiction, romance, thrillers, contemporary fiction, graphic novels, manga, and so many atmospheric books! Not to mention, theres a book that has dark fantasy anne of green gables vibes and a book that has probably the prettiest book cover I've ever seen.

Desi's book hauls are the only book hauls I will watch. Also, Desi could literally sell me any book. If she ever wanted another job, she should work at a book store. I'd go to that bookstore just to listen to her talking and getting giddy about books.

I love the term “sensitive reader” as I feel this way too. I could not read the Court of Thorns and Roses series because of the violence and language. Nobody else could understand why but it was just too much for me. I will use that term from now on to help my friends and family understand why I don’t read certain things. 👌🏻
I dropped some highly rated book series due to the same reason, violence ,bad language and steamy books are always a turnoff for me. Totally understand.

I really enjoy your book haul. There is so many books I want to read now from your haul. I’am a book reader myself and I would definitely recommend the book “ The View From The Lighthouse “. It’s taken place near the ocean coastline, boats, and four women creating a strong friendship together. I love your videos so peaceful to me.

I’m trying not to cry hearing that you love The Two Princesses of Bamarre too! I borrowed that book more than 50 times from the library in elementary school! I used to tell everyone it was my favorite book. I have my own copy now and read it every so often!

When you pulled out that copy of Pride and Prejudice with the actual letters inside, I began crying. Seeing the handwriting and signature of Fitzwilliam Darcy. Something about that struck me so deep inside. I will have to find a copy of that. That is a genius idea, whoever came up that deserves an award. 💖💖💖💖💖
