Thank you for this video. I'm still waiting for the delivery of my Curt. Somehow there aren't many videos about the second generation bikes yet. I hope there will be more in the future though.
I am not sure which size I should take. As per Ampler I need size M but it seems to be too small for me (185 cm).. which size did you test and how tall you are? Tks
I tested the L size and I am 191 cm. However, these size suggestions are just estimations and if you feel the M is too small, try the L. If possible, test both of them and choose the one that feels more comfortable.
I'm doubting between the Axel and Stout. I really like the Axle more, but the lack of gears makes me doubt a bit. However, going for the Stout (with gears) also means a chain instead of belt :( Especially since it's such a lightweight ebike, makes me wonder what'll happen if I go over the 25 km/h without having gears. Do you have any experience with that? What's the max speed you can still comfortably do on the Axle (above 25)?
The utter simplicity of the design is very attractive.
True
Thanks, would be cool to see a review of the Oolter Eke for example in comparison to this

Thanks for the feedback! I hope you will enjoy your Curt :)
Merci pour ce test très complet 👍
J'hésite entre le Axel et le Curt. Étant en France 🇨🇵 je ne peux pas les essayer. 🤔
Lequel le conseillez-vous ?
Thank you! I have tried both of them. Curt is with a more aggressive ride position than Axel. Overall, both bikes are of good build quality.

Oh really? Looks like size M
These need to come to the US.
Absolutely! Unfortunately, they are currently focusing on the EU market only.

I recommend going for a test ride with both of them. Then you can know for sure which one you like more :)
over the 25 km/h ?
above this its all your legs 😏
then the engine is switching off
@@huibert_devet yep, correct. over 25 kmh it's just like a regular bike.
@@ElectricWheelers any way to remove this?
I don't like the sound when you don't move your peddles and the bike is moving. It is so nice that with a belt you don't hear sound.
Yes, the belt drive is great indeed.
How tall are you and which frame size has the bike you used?
I am 191cm in height. And the bike I tested was M size. However, they recommend a size M bike for people between 172-185 cm.
@@ElectricWheelers ok, thanks. It looks a bit too small in my opinion. I’m 1.93m and I hope the size L will be the right size for me.
@@ROS_75 Yeah, I think size L will be much better for you.
Is there anyway to remove its speed limit of 25 km/h
I doubt there are any legal ways.
