Sure, Terry and Trevor got a lot more in common than what separates them.
But it is quite clear their approach in life and their beliefs are quite different.
Terry is not in favor of Reparations. His idea of accountability is about what is happening now.
Terry seams to understand that Trevor's path for "equal rights" will lead to a civil war. And that there are other paths.

What he has done with his public platform has been huge to survivors like me. It is so much more difficult for men, especially Black men, to come out as victims abuse but Mr. Crews knew just how vital this was for the movement at large and put himself in the line of fire, we can't thank him enough.

When you interview people longer, they're able to talk more on questions asked thereby providing in depth answers and allowing us the audience to truly understand and learn. Hearing Terry talk about his rage and how it took over his life felt so familiar to me. I’m only 23, but my entire childhood I was filled with limitless rage. My parents were abusive in a variety of ways, so I had to learn early on to internalize all of my feelings; sadness, happiness, loneliness, anger, everything. And after years of being forced to hold everything in, plus being sexually abused by a cousin, it all turned to rage. I never had an outlet for my anger, and I never hit anyone so it just continued to build. At its worst, I was having vivid dreams about hurting other people. I’ve been in therapy since I was 16, and only in the last year or so have I truly been able to release some of that anger. It’s such a difficult process and takes a lot of time to make progress, but I know it’s for the best

Terry is actually a really great public speaker. This man can do some damage motivating and speaking to young boys and men.

Terry is one of the rare human beings which are (finally after his journey) as strong inside as strong as they are outside - in his case literally ;)

Caught part of this interview on TV and am glad for Terry to have his say, about the mistake(s) he made and for him to own up to them. To explain what he actually meant! Great.
Coming here to see it in full now, on a lighter note: The way Trevor says "Young Terry" and Terry this and Terry that, it just reminds me of that Key and Peele sketch. #IYKYK. 🤣

This kind of conversation was led by the Holy Spirit and feeds the soul.
To Terry's point, there is a difference between religion and Christianity. Christianity is not a set of rules it is freedom and grace held together by Truth. and that Truth will make you free. Incredible to hear a man of power admit his mistakes and come out better. Thank you Mr. Noah.

Solid. If you can do it, it can be done. If it can be done, I can do it too. You're a prince, dude. I can't put my finger on it, but for some reason every time you show up on the screen, my heart lights up. Thanks man. Thanks for all you are.

I think at least the last 6 books I've read have been because I saw Trevor interviewing the authors. I already loved both Terry and Trevor, and after this interview even more. I'll definitely read his book and probably share it with family members that need to read something like this and are willing to pay attention.

I love comedy, the daily show and all the aspects - maybe I like some other segments or shows a bit more BUT what I really love and admire Trevor (and his team) for are his interviews ! Astonishing !
