I absolutely love your content Gabriel! I’m a very passionate amateur weightlifter and seeing your videos and training progress motivates me to be better. You are also the most aesthetically pleasing weightlifter out there. Your snatches are like Pavarotti at the Sydney Opera. Just sheer artistic perfection.
Does anyone even notice you moving these huge weights? Maybe they are used to seeing people hit 210kg for a triple and make it look casual? Thanks for posting this - it is motivating to see your training.
definitely people are noticed, but here is a bit different and if people don't know you, is very rarely to come someone to say something, but they are watching
Like! impressive! In winter I could do 25x120 and 34x110kg, but I have problems with my knees, I still managed a few weeks ago 40x100, that's just for my curiosity. For my 43rd birthday...
Gabriel, is it normal to feel tightness, tenderness, or soreness in your traps when you are first learning the snatch in the overhead position? Its one of the first things i noticed after my first session with a pvc pipe. Love your content.
I really can't tell the difference in your reps whatever the weight on the bar is. It's always the same. Ok maybe 230 had a minor slowdown in the middle. They're so smooth. Even when you say you felt something's not feeling great when doing them. How difficult is it to adjust the training for aches or issues when you have performance goals? For example having to cut reps short and still trying to get to the goals. I remember back when you had some hamstring issues that interrupted a training cycle. Do they usually go away over the cycle as you address them or do you just have to deal with them the best you can?
depends of the situation, for example in 2012 I had an back injury and I competed like that at olympics. If I have to choose, I will go lighter trying to fix the issue and go back again stronger
Nice work. In your training, when do you like to do your max squat and max sn/cnj at the end of a cycle? Same day or very far apart? Which one do you test first?
Definitely that strength first, and I will recommend you my strength calculator for c&j : gabrielsincraian.com/strength-calculator/ Now my training is a bit different, because i'm recovering , I'm not progressing and it's fast. after I will reach 370-380 total it will be something else
Love this great to see your progress week on week and the explanation when things don’t go quite to plan really inspiring
Thanks so much! 😊

nope, is not normal :)
you should feel good when you practice snatch or clean&jerk
Nice lifting, Gabriel. Why a wider grip on the first few sets of squats?
why not ?
Here before the youtube fame!

everything looks easy when you do it
thanks
That's proper strong 💪💪💪. Maximum I done was 225 and felt like border line impossible. Regards Dorin
thanks . 225 is a bit weight, congrats
@@gsincraian thank you
Do your knees crack when you squat Gabriel? Mine do, and I was just wondering if other people had this happen too.
Unless it’s causing your pain or discomfort wouldn’t even worry about it
Sometimes when I warm up, but very rarely

For 160/195. Noe and could come back 175/220 with peace and Olympic medalist objective 🎉❤
Why do you deadlift in weightlifting shoes? Any particular reason?
because i'm a weightlifter :)
@@gsincraian fair enough! They are still normal deadlifts am i correct? Or are they some other pull variation?
Speed of 230 looked like you were preparing to do 10 :)
it will come 10 reps in the future too, with 230kg
that 230 looked so easy. if you wanted to push 100% I think you could've done 6 or more reps
thank you. probably 6 is a bit exagerated. I think close to 4 , yes probably is possible
