I've had Shaperbox for a few years, however being as powerful as it was. I never really put in the time to actually master it. However recently I've double down and actual got to learning my plugins ins and outs. To do so I first had to stop buying every NEW cool crap in the saturated plugin market. Now I'm steady taking my time with this ones I own and actually like. Oftentimes spending months using only plugin until I feel like it now within my arsenal. For this plugin in particular I've been taking its effects one box at a time. After around four months of intense use of this plugin I'd say I've "moderately mastered" 5 EFXs thus far. Oftentimes happy using them on my own. without any need for presets. Still this plugin is intimidating for sure. Still taking it very slow when it comes to mashing a bunch of effects at once.
Just came here to say thanks for all your videos. Clear no nonsense education. I feel like I'm voyeuristically peeking in on a studio expert at work. Thanks for sharing your passion.
Cableguys is a true source of inspiration inside the digital music realm. It is amazing how innovative you guys are. I guess this two, are enough reasons to make me a one hell of a Cableguys Fanboy.
Awesome video, love the in-depth tutorials to the individual modules ! My favorite is dividing the frequency band an give low, mid and high their own time-processing, usually with different tempo-combos, just wonderful to play around with 🥳
Can it do a continuosly slow down? Like with a taperecorder slowing down the speed, but for a much longer time. A slowdown for several minutes for instance, though that the frequencies change slowly, but continuosly.
Due to memory reasons, we have to put an upper limit on the maximum delay/time offset TimeShaper can apply. So no, it cannot slow down for an arbitrarily long time period.
This is a PERFECT explanation. I was finding this tool a bit confusing, but you've made it crystal clear now. BRAVO! 10/10.
Thanks! Glad you found the video helpful :)
Hear hear.
100% agree 🙌
I wish you guys would make a DAW. A DAW on the same level of design and innovation would be amazing. Great stuff
08:45 At last, we have an authentic-sounding scratch effect. I've been searching for this for years.
I’ve had Shaperbox for years and I couldn’t find a tutorial of how the timeshaper works. Now I finally get it 🙌🏼
For me it was pretty easy, because it's basically gross beat

The tutorial I needed. 🙏 TimeShaper has always been a bit of a mystery
Any new tools coming for Shaperbox in the near future?
Only replying to push your comment to the top so hopefully they see it and respond 😫
ReverbShaper is fairly new and I much prefer quality over quantity
Sorry, we can't comment on future plans 😊
I know you can't comment but...Pitchshifter/shaper? lol
@@CableguysSo that means yep

Wäre ein Traum die Tutorials auch auf Deutsch zu haben 😎
pitch shaper next??
More Please
try to using it on the master bus for some tapestop, reversed effect in Ableton and the latency fuck me up :(
Great video and, dare I say, massively overdue!
guys can you add delay to shaperbox? with ducking same as with reverb?
and maybe a lot more filter types like ring mod, formant and comb
Although he say´s you can in this video, it is not possible to switch wave pallets using automation. Any reason for this?
Wish u did hardware

@@Cableguys That upper memory limit should be a user modifiable setting, not a set in stone one, don't you think so?
@@daniel.konopka Ideally yes, but it can raise some issues (namely maxing out your memory fast without realizing why), and it's hardly ever requested.
Wow 👍🏾
Any way in the future to import presets easily from creators?
Yes, ShaperBox can already save and load .FXP files. Make sure you've updated to the latest version 👍
@@Cableguys awesome sorry i missed this do you guys have a DISCORD server?
I love shaperbox but why does grossbeats scratching fx just sound better ??
Weaver's preference for Infiltrator might be swayed by this vid.
The Deja vu plugin by Cymatics is a ripoff of halftime and it's free. Please sue him for the community 😂 no seriously
