Thank you all for sharing your adventures with us. I love it! If your ever in Virginia, come to Piney River and camp in our little spot across the road from us and next to the river. Be safe and God Bless.
I can just SEE Jimmy Stewart or John Wayne galloping up on a horse, leaping off, and hiding behind those rock slabs and pointing a rifle out from them....perfect place to film a western hilly gunfight eh!!
Beware of free campsite #4. It is now the unofficial parking lot for rock climbing companies. If you like vans & trucks randomly pulling into your site during the day, then you will love that site.
Neat area just off I-80 and about 15 minutes from my front door in Laramie. The area is pronounced "veed-a-voo" which means, roughly, "Earth Born Spirit" in the Arapahoe language. Also, this is not far from some really nice alpine areas in the Medicine Bow Mountains about 30 miles west of Laramie.
Awww thank you 😊 He got home just in time to go back to school. We are in Laramie Wyoming. Our WiFi is spotty but, I’m trying to upload on tonight. Hopefully, it will be up in about an hour or so.
It's free because you practically have to buy an off-road vehicle just to get down to the lower campsites. The roads nowadays are less than low maintenance. My wife and I take my jeep down there sometimes if we really feel like roughing it. The upper campsites are little "nicer", though.
So beautiful. 🎶 Lots a starry skies above - don't fence me in. 🎶
😀
Have fun and take care and take it easy and enjoy it

Your under construction...I can imagine mr Childers pulling up on e bike and then you getting on yours and away you go...lol
That exactly what’s going to happen. We are just looking for a good place to film that part. 😀
Yeah that first campground was what is crowded to me😁

Thank goodness we Boondock 99% of the time. Beautiful views though.

Really gorgeous area. We went up into the mountains it is beautiful. ❤️
If I don’t hear from my favorite RVers soon, I’m going to go through withdrawal, lol. I hope Tripp got back safe and sound. Where are you folks now?

We didn’t think it was that bad and you have to pay for the upper campground. It’s hard to get a site in there in the summer.
@@NomadicRamblersAdventures perhaps there is another section of the vedauwoo campground. The roads we always take are far from flat and smooth.
Did look for Golden Eagles? I’ve seen lots of them in Veedauwoo. The name mean “Earth Born Spirit.” The color is from pink Felspar in the Granite.
We did see one Eagle. That’s a great place to camp. Our grandson love it there.
