I have been trying this for years. I'm left handed. My sister is right handed. She tried teaching me and it failed utterly because I kept undoing what she had done. This is nice.

As a lefty this is the first tutorial I’ve been able to understand! It’s taking some practice but after about 30 minutes my stitches are getting straighter and more even. I’m excited to learn more :)

I’m 47 and despite numerous attempts at being taught to crochet, I’ve never even got a decent chain stitch without throwing it down in frustration. But now I actually feel like I’m getting the gist of it and I will have to take back that I can’t crochet to save my life. Im excited to practice more and see where this takes me. THANK YOU!

My grandma taught me how to knit and now I’m teaching her how to crochet, but she is left handed and I am not. This is very helpful for me to know what it should look like the other way around!

Just picked up a DIY frog kit and my heart sank when looking at the pics and finding they're right-handed and I need to learn from scratch! I watched a right handed tutorial yesterday (didn't even know there was a right/left hand when it came to crochet or knitting) and it felt so weird like I wasn't doing it right even though I was making a chain. I ended up quitting because I overworked the yarn and got too frustrated and now I can't find my crochet hook anywhere 😂 now that I know this video is here I will definitely try it once I find my hook. Thank you so much, for showing exactly what to do. I have never even managed to make a chain before, because showing where the yarn goes is useless, if you don't know how to hold your work! It is just a complete mystery. I can now make a chain, thanks to you, but know I have a mountain to climb. I will learn by watching you, and take my time, knowing it will be a gradual process. I'm glad someone is making a video of this.
So I'm not left handed but I am dyslexic lol and I helped my teacher in high school teach left handed students how to crochet because I'd finished my project. To me it was just backwards crocheting. She acted Like I was some kinda genius for knowing how even though I'm not left handed lol I guess thank my dyslexia seeing things backwards lol

Oh my goodness this is already helping me sooooooooo much! I was just watching another crochet tutorial video (but for right handed) and I kept getting stuck, tried doing what they did but backwards and it helped only a little, but THIS video made it so much easier and far more comfortable! ❤

I watched a right handed tutorial yesterday (didn't even know there was a right/left hand when it came to crochet or knitting) and it felt so weird like I wasn't doing it right even though I was making a chain. I ended up quitting because I overworked the yarn and got too frustrated and now I can't find my crochet hook anywhere 😂 now that I know this video is here I will definitely try it once I find my hook. Hi there, I'm waiting for my wool to arrive. I'm looking forward to trying this. The right handed lesson was so confusing to me but thank good you have left handed lessons.
