I definitely want to do more topics about celebrities and mental illness. Growing up, I heard so many stories about celebrities going crazy and I thought to myself, “you’re rich. Why would you be unhappy?” Until I had my own mental break down from a stressful job.

Hopefully are doing better!!! With actors and actresses it could be the pressures of keeping up their image in society, or getting better roles, self image or many things. Sometimes mental illness can be hereditary (bi polar,schizophrenia) or environmental ( PTSD, Anxiety). And sometimes you are not the one with the issue it is the people around you with the issue but you get victim shamed ( nervous breakdown from rape when the rapist is the mentally sick one) Anybody who is suffering my 💖❤️ goes out to you. 😘

Update: She went on Dr Oz last year and said she is diagnosed with Schizoaffective thought disorder. She has a psychiatrist and does treatment. She has been doing very well and are on the upcoming save by the bell reunion 👏🏽💕

@Love'OF theMostHigh Mental health labels are very important. Schizophrenia is very different then bipolar. It's so important they get it right if she does decide to seek help so she can get the correct medicine (so her moods will not become more erratic where they have to end up hospitalizing her).

The way she said he was just "powerfully spoken" towards her mom but her husband says he was "blunt & DEMANDING"...that just didn't sit right with me!!!

It seems like that's the way she was speaking in the interview. Odd word selection, long, rambling sentences with long pauses...... she just seems.... off. I don't know how else to describe it. I am not a medical professional or doctor, nor do I know her, so I'm not gonna sit here and diagnose mental disorders or illnesses, but her behavior is certainly very worrying to say the least.

I can't help but feel like her mom gave her up to Hollywood and she's watching the consequences. Watching those last interviews legitimately brought tears to my eyes, its so hard to watch. Her issues were probably triggered by typical traumatizing Hollywood abuse and she needs to be helped and protected, not humiliated and exposed on television.

@@RACHELLEflo Sadly I disagree. I have a mental illness and could see myself speaking that way sometimes. I cringed watching her speak because it didn't make sense. Her wordings were used out of context.
1. It seems like more was going on than just bipolar. The way she has difficulty putting a coherent sentence together tells me there is another root problem. Schizophrenia seems more likely. Also, she has a lot of anxiety.
2. I, also, believe she is suffering from image and identity issues as a young black woman who was trying to find acceptance in white Hollywood. I wouldn’t be surprised if she suffered some traumas from this experience.
3. Someone she was dealing with probably got her involved in drugs which caused her to suffer some form of brain injury.
4. Disney. Many child stars from Disney always seem to end up having issues.

Medication can also cause the inability to choose the correct words when speaking. I was misdiagnosed as bipolar due to a psychiatric medication I was put on that went really, really bad. Once I was taken off of it, I was fine.

Watching people change and lose control of themselves mentally is a heartbreaking experience.
She is beyond just being bipolar, she has a serious condition.
that's what I was thinking. It reminded me of a person I knew who was diagnosed with schizophrenia in his 20s.
I know for a fact that medication can cause the issues she is having in her interviews. I feel like there are way too many drugs prescribed to people who just felt depressed or anxious.
there are different types of bipolar and it can be a really serious condition. people trivialize it a lot but it really is in some cases.

I noticed this as well that AFTER she dated him that's when her mental health and career started to go down.
I believe Martin was abusive and I believe the trauma her mother speaks of came at the hands of him. I don't think he was just verbally abusive to her.
I know women who have been in toxic situations with men and have been forever mentally altered by the experience.
Remember that girl Maia from In the House who got on drugs really bad. It was stated she too was Bipolar but it was also speculated that she experienced some type of trauma while in Hollywood.
But Martin definitely spoke on it and said on “run tell that” that he was high that night , but he did get his life together 💪🏽💪🏽 he never doubted it

This happened to my oldest daughter. Same odd behavior and an inability to cope w life. She went to college a happy healthy 18 year old and returned 6 months later a totally different person. She was diagnosed w schizophrenia and her life has never been the same. I send Lark love and light. Its not easy.
