My grandparents are German, so I grew up eating cabbage rolls a lot. Our version was cabbage, ground beef, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, tomato sauce, bacon. Cooked in the oven for a few hours. Served with either rice, or potatoes or just bread. As an adult, I changed it into cabbage stew. Same ingredients, just in a slow cooker. Especially lovely in winter, to have a warm bowl of it. Hello dear Moe, the food is traditional German cuisine in German it means cabbage rolls. We don't use mushrooms in the filling because they lose too much water. In Germany, only traditionally seasoned minced meat with onions. You can also youse Paprika as an basic , which is also very popular, and then put it in the oven. I also do this when I get large mushrooms in the store, then I remove the stem of the mushrooms, fill in the minced meat mixture and put a slice of cheese on top. The whole thing comes in a baking dish in the oven. The great thing about the mushrooms is that they lose liquid again in the oven and you can use it for a sauce because the meat in it gives it a delicious taste, simply thicken it with a little miso paste and potato starch. Namihazureta hahaoya no tatakai..............
You guys are such beautiful people! I love watching your videos. We have a similar dish in Poland and is called "Gołąbki". But, after your video, I am going to try your recipe :) Oishii! ❤️ Ps. Thank you girls for teaching me some basic words in Japanese. I'm seriously thinking about starting to learn your language. Greetings from Poland.
The development of Sutan! Inquisitive and decision making stage! I love the PATIENCE you have Moe, as all mothers should be! I remember few childhood memories of me when my Mom is overprotective , that leads me growing up to be too much cautious and sometimes a fear of trying things. I hope I could have the patience you have in the future when I have my own Sutan :)
Sutan please please stop hanging on the stand like that you’re going to really hurt yourself if you fall :( :( :( we love you Sutan please be safe.
I love to read all of the people who have a similar dish in their country! In Germany, (at least that's how I know it) we usually serve boiled potatoes to it! They were my favorite food from my grandma and I miss her and her cooking them for the family. This will always be my comfort food :) Just a great recipe and I love watching Sutan grow! Love from Germany
