1975 to 1976 I was 8. THIS is the sweet spot for me cartoon wise. I had watched them before then but I remember really looking forward to the new cartoons of this season. I watched the preview shows the networks would show on the Friday night before to gin up excitement about the Saturday morning premieres. I probably scanned the TV guide as well so as not to miss anything I might want to see. You did my old adult brain such a big favor by your work putting this all together. I got to go back in time and at moments feel like my 8 year old self again! I took such pleasure in these shows and commercials. It was all thrilling and colorful and comforting. A Saturday morning oasis in what for me was a rocky time in real life elementary school. Thank you very much!!!

      🎉 Same here!
Thank you for so eloquently describing life at 8 years old in '75-'76!!!
Oh,those Friday nights when the networks got us salivating with Saturday Morning previews.....
For me, it started with "That's Cat" at 6:30am...until Soul Train at 12pm. I still reminisce about some of those shows from 1970 to 1977....to name only a few: Hong Kong Phooey, The Hudson Brothers, Jabberjaw, The Secret Lives Of Waldo Kitty, Wheelie and The Chopper Bunch, Grape Ape, Captain Caveman, and certainly all the Krofft shows...
And the little tidbits between shows like Schoolhouse Rock, In The News, Timeford Timer....
Of course, there was a always a huge bowl of Cap'n Crunch involved.
(Isn't it strange that we didn't mind shredding the roofs of our mouths on copious amounts of jagged cereal at that age?)
      I'll stop babbling now.

i grew up in the '70s and '80s, "Sugar Fruit Giggles" breakfast cereal stood out right away because i don't remember ever seeing that, after some digging it turns out it was a mockup used in an educational film from 1976 called "Seeing Through Commercials" ruclips.net/video/pzEp65hNLq4/видео.html
