Has got to be the best cartoon creation ever. Witty, unique graphical simplicity, and full of humor and ability to parody historical events with style.
Love Rocky and Bullwinkle, Fractured Fairy Tales, Sherman and Mr. Peabody. I started watching this show at 6 years old. Now, I'm 55 and have rediscovered it!❤
Thanks for this! I always thought these tapes were the best way to watch the show because you got the entire story in one feature and only the best of the side segments. It finally let R&B carry the show instead of giving them 3-5 minutes at the beginning and end. They didn't go to DVD because people were mad they changed from the original format, but that format is VERY annoying to people who aren't familiar with the show. Also, these were the only home video releases with the original music on the bumpers.
Thank you SO much for uploading this! It’s a very valuable piece of my childhood. I remember watching this all the time on the VHS at my grandparents house
I loved Rocky and Bullwinkle when I was a kid in the early 60s. I especially loved Boris and Natasha, and was totally excited when i started watching opera as a young man in the 1970s and learned that Boris Badenough was the opera, Boris Godenov.
I like seeing these from the VHS tapes because they have the original music appropriate for these episodes. The DVDs used the original them on all the seasons. They should've just paid whatever fee Fred Steiner's estate was asking for the rights to use it. This one is my favorite of the two themes.
You mean Frank Comstock. He composed the music for Rocky and Bullwinkle back during the Rocky and His Friends era. Fred Steiner became the main composer once the show switched to NBC and became The Bullwinkle Show. Because they couldn’t get the rights for the music from Comstock’s estate, they had to use Fred Steiner’s compositions which aren’t as iconic. Though one can only hope that they’ll eventually make a definitive restored edition of The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show that restores the original iconic tracks and titles.
@@SplashSurfer216 Thanks for the correction, I always have trouble remembering which of those guys is which. I do prefer Fred Steiner's themes, shame they wouldn't cough up the dough to secure the music rights. But at least we still have them on the VHS tapes! I'm not gonna hold my breath for a fully restored edition of the show though.
Every Sunday morning at 9am after church. My mom always said turn that crazy shit off!!! I never obliged lol Could watch till they stuff my old butt in the ground 😅
The Dialog and double entendre used during this era of animation and earlier...impeccable ! Announcer : "Gee...that means there are no good Guys left." Boris : "Funny how that works out." 🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤣🤣
I have some of these tapes but never got the chance to watch them. Now my vcr doesn't work. Thank you. I hope you have more. Watching Mr. Peabody is how I learned history. 😂

Rocky and Bullwinkle,, Mister Magoo, and my favorite dog, Underdog, were always worth watching. The voice actors were the best part.
