I believe it. I was a '70s baby raised in the '80s & loved it. I know the '60s had to be something special outside of the national & world events of the era.
I'm 65...absolutely loved Johnny Quest, Bullwinkle, Bugs, Roadrunner, Pink Panther , Popeye and never forget Tom Terrific on good ole Captain Kangaroo!... what a wonderful time to be a kid!
Thurl Ravenscroft(Tony The Tiger/The Grinch Who Stole Christmas).😎🙌🏻 I wish Saturday Mornings were more like this and not back to back Infomercials or Political Propaganda. 😣💔 Life was so much better and less stress-filled back then. 😔😢

I use to watch these when I was a kid.. loved these cartoons. I hope someone someday uploads the original animated series of Jonny Quest. I haven't seen all the episodes, just half of them.
In 1965 I was five years old and I used to watch this while I had grilled cheese and tomato soup! Today wasn’t feeling so well here at 61 years of age found this channel. I’ve been watching it all day long. I’m loving every moment of these memories. I feel like a little kid again.
Well, I won't send out any prayers, since they do nothing to benefit mankind; but I will say this: No matter what you're going through, keep your mind busy with anything except your current predicament (especially if it's out of your control). Sleep is your body's natural healing mechanism, so don't feel bad if indulge in a nap or two every once in a while, but while you're awake, if your health permits it, a nice (long) walk every day helps a lot. If you have friends, or family who you can reach out to, don't be afraid, or ashamed to do so. If they care about you, they'll understand. Finally, even if you're all by your lonesome, never despair. If you're the only person you can rely on, be strong. You are your greatest ally. For what it's worth: I believe in you! I hope this message gets to you on time. If you ever feel like talking to someone, even a stranger, the internet is our friend :) Get well soon!
I wish Thomas Sowell would do an analysis of our old cartoons compared to the cartoons of today. The lessons they teach have a trickle down affect on society.
Sowell would probably blame black stereotypes portrayed in yesteryear's cartoons on black people, then complain that today's cartoons with their purple, blue or whatever colored skin is not traditional and is woke.
😅😅😂 Hold the pickle hold the lettuce special orders dont upset us only ask us that you let us serve it your way have it youuuur wayyyy at bUrger king now😄😃🙂‼️🙂‼️
Lets all rent a large room, fill it with puffy chairs, sofas, blankets, milk and pounds of cereal and a big screen showing cartoons. We'll start 7am and go till 11a !
@jonathanhall7903 If we're getting a place to watch cartoons, don't be rationing my time to only 4 hrs. I'd watch for at least 6-7 hours, if not more 🤔🙄😏😅
None of my friends remember it. I'm 49, and they laugh at me that I remember the words from the theme song 42 years later. I still have a Gary Gnu shirt somewhere. I wish they would release it on DVD or stream it.
When I was a kid, I watch the Jay Ward cartoons with my Dad. He got a bigger kick out of it that I did. I thought that was odd, at the time. Watching these as an adult, they are way funnier than before. Genius dialog writing!!! Cute and silly enough for kids...yet clever and funny for adults as well. Boris Badenov is my hero!!!
I still love cartoons. When I was a kid, I'd read through TV Guide on Sunday and if there were any good sci-fi, horror or pirate movies on during the week I'd play sick to stay home and watch.
THAT NEVER even crossed my mind. Bcz there was FIVE of us those presweetened cereals were considered expensive so my parents did not buy them. Kellogg’s cornflakes and sometimes frosted flakes, Rice Krispies, Trix, WHEATIES, and Cheerios. 👍🏾
I was born in 58 and first watch thru of your video I didn't recognize any of the cartoons. Then I pictured them in black and white... that's it. We didn't have a colour tv...
Wow, this brings back memories! I met Thurl Ravenscroft (the voice of Tony the Tiger at the open of this video) at Leo Burnett Chicago back when I was a kid. He was so tall, and I grew up around my father, who was quite tall. My father was a creative director at Burnett and I was at work with him that day -- probably because of a no-school day -- when he walked into my father's office. He was a very nice man, I remember.
Who did these classic voices that bring back great memories. ❤❤❤❤😂😂😂 My favorites were always the 'Fractured Fairytales' and 'Mr Peabody and Sherman' and 'Johnny Quest' ❤❤❤😅😅😅
For you trivia buffs, the voice of Boris is performed by Paul Frees. You may recognize his voice from many films, like when he voiced the Talking Rings on The Time Machine (the original George Pal version). But what most people don't know is that Paul Frees also created the female voice that was dubbed over Tony Curtis's voice in Some Like It Hot. Apparently he just could not pull off a female voice that sounded like a man imitating a woman. Paul Frees was like, "Hold my beer..."
HOLY SH*T. The Great Space Coaster. I've been singing this theme since i was 7. Im 49. I cant find this show anywhere. None of my friends temember this show. No Gnu's like good Gnu's with Garry Gnu.
Rocky and bullwinkle, I watched, on Captain Kangaroo, 1960ish. On week days abt. 7 am in the morning. ....also from captain kangaroo, ...Astro Boy, Dudley Do Right,...

You guys should have seen the Saturday morning cartoons in the 50s. We had precursors to Mickey Mouse Bugs Bunny and Betty Boop - with racial stereotypes before censorship!
Rocky the flying Squirrel is such a cutie! But sometimes I wonder how old he is!? Is he 10 perhaps! What if he's the same age as Sherman!? Anyway I was thinking about making my own version of Rocky and Bullwinkle and their friends! Only Rocky is 10 and Sherman is 12! And the cartoon of Rocky and Bullwinkle that I made up is called Rocky and Bullwinkle moose mysteries or squirrel secrets!? Let's just say it's kind of like a mixture of Pokemon, Scooby-Doo mystery Incorporated, avatar The last Airbender, Ben 10 alien Force, and the real adventures of Jonny Quest! And they should add some new friends like two orphan kids that are the Clovers Lucky and Chloe Clover! Chloe who is the younger sister of Lucky is like a girl element of Rocky the flying squirrel! But the one thing that's really beautiful about Chloe is that she never wanted to give up hope especially since her brother Lucky was missing for 5 years when she was 5! Which is why she had to use the wayback machine to find out the truth about her brother's disappearance 5 years ago! And the last thing that Chloe ever wanted was to be all alone in the world with no one to console her or to understand her! And for 5 years she has been teased because they thought that her brother is dead but Chloe refused to believe that because she never lost faith in her brother just like when she never lost faith in Rocky and Bullwinkle! And most of all I want this cartoon to be a tearful kind of cartoon since at some endings of some episodes there might be a family reunion or sometimes when the mystery and the secrets were revealed and solved! And the first story I was thinking of is when Rocky was about to find his missing family and Bullwinkle and the rest of the people of frostbite falls were about to have a search party for Rocky! That would be a great episode wouldn't it!?❤
When we were children. These cartoons were before and after school in the 60's and 70's. This is the good and kind America. Except for Vietnam we where living with. Older brothers and neighbors going off to a war we should not have been in. Some not returning. The cartoons gave us a break. Also getting over JFK's assasination..😢
