This was my first new car. Red color. I loved it and still miss it. Then I moved out of the US and I had to sell it. Wisconsin winter did not help at all. Great Car. Thanks for sharing the video with us
Wow, man, drive it and enjoy it. I would feel so lucky ever to get a hold a 323 GTX coupe that still drives, let alone of one of these amazing works of modern engineering. Just fantastic! Cheers
1 had a 1992 mazda 323 hatchback with the 1.6 and i loved it but the rear strut towers rusted out so i had to get rid of it but i just bought a 1988 mazda 323 gt sedan with a turbo, 5 speed, sunroof, and i love it so much. Really good condition. gonna build it up.
Hey! Did you fully match the original paint color?? I got one and its "Montana red"... I´m thinking in repainting it. Would appreciate any suggestions.
Do you know what year did this body style came out and what year did it end I bought one the paperwork says 94 model it's a right hand drive version I am from Trinidad and Tobago and the information will help
my first car. Pretty fast with a manual boost controller. Then I got hit from behind at 50mph at a complete stop. That was a bad day. The adjustable struts were pretty neat. great car though
great looking car, I've got a 88 bf saloon, just a couple of questions. firstly are you running 4x4 or is it even possible on the saloon. secondly did the engine swap go smoothly or was there any problems
This car is front wheel drive and it came from the factory turbocharged with the B6T engine as per my video, the car is 1 of 700 (approx.) sold in the U.S with this trim, options and configuration.
I had one of these from 1994-98 or so, traded it in on a new Subaru Outback for $500. Stupidest and most regretful decision in my life...$500!! Wish I had kept it. I had no place to put it so I really had no choice. Still sad about that. Been searching to buy one now that I am a bit more well off...
I grew up driving an 87 mazda 323. It broke down and my family hauled it to the junk yard when I was in college. If anyone comes across one for sale let me know. I’m trying to buy one and restore it.
Awesome I have an 86 323 it's alot more used than yours lol.but still going strong 2012 I upgraded turbo to vf10 off a Subaru runs great at 14 psi.not az peppy az original turbo but good upgrade.

I bought one just like yours in 1988. I loved it. It was my all time favorite!
Thank-you Tom! After almost 15 years of ownership this car sill puts a huge smile on my face, its a sweaty smile now as the the AC just quit!
slownrusty In 120K the only mechanical replacement was a water pump. And yes it always made me smile.
Yes super reliable cars, even when things wear out, these are straightforward cars to work on especially compared to newer cars.
