Great to see someone who still knows how to operate the good old Armstrong Machine Press....smack it till it breaks, and if it breaks it needed fixing anyway...
For sure! Those grinders, air hammers, power washers and machinery won't bother you now, but when your 60+ you'll wish you protected your ears (ask how I know😢).
Please use one of my favorite sayings, "I said it was a plan. I Never Said it was a Good Plan." 😂😂😂😂 I used it for hiking A Lot, never beating out big dozer pins. E.g., It's A trail, but it's not The trail. Deciding to bushwack downhill only to have to wade across 100 yards of the Red River, KY.... In February -- it was a Plan, I never said it was a Good plan.
I cant believe i watched two guys cutting beating & chiseling on a pin with 2 sledge hammers when there is a big press on the other side of the shop ,here in the east we use 3 foot scrap torches if your gonna do some real cutting.

Work smarter not harder! And protect yourself at all times, use hearing protection

"I've been working on the frame rail.... all the live long day...."
Best video I watched today even Casey was on the struggle bus great job
I love hard work! I can watch it all day😂
I enjoy watching your videos I probably won’t work on anything like that in my life but you guys make it interesting

In 70s in the Army we had to paint trucks windshield n windows so we would grease the glass and then wipe the glass clean. No tape required. 😂
Doing the wrong thing the right way haha
Pretty cool.. thanks for the video
I'm sure your customer will be happy. It's been put back to factory specifications. 😊
👍 good job
Talk about heavy metal!
Going the extra is for good customer relations. It pays for itself in the long run.😊😊 Them Krylon overhauls are mint😅
Heating the pin just expanded it making it tighter - let it cool down then wack away😮

Love the show...but watching you guys take that pin out was painful..30 years as HET...cut the top and bottom
Also says " gotta do shit right, can't do shit wrong" after hammering on a tin axle nut socket five minutes before lol
Lmao 😂 right
@@gregolson1824 whats wrong with hammering on an old axle socket? Its not hardened steel. Worst that happens is it bends it?
@@quintonbartolotta old socket that you are using for just hammering on it fine, but a axle socket you still use is just tool abuse.
Press.. Big freaking press.
Hey guys you need to watch curtis cutting engineering he ll show ya Lol
On the job, we called the big hammer.....UGG!
Leaf blower in wash bay to dry parts. Keep mess out of shop
How long did it take to complete the job? All the best with your company. Tough business but it's what makes America keep moving.
about 5 hours
Amazing how much the socket deformed from the sledge hammer.
Buy a proper hydraulic press for putting bushes in they expensive but you save the money on less time to do bushes
Fun times
Thumbs up, great video, how long did you have that old arm sitting in your stock pile to have to sell?
couple months
is your Press not strong enough to punch out the center sleeve, you used to torch on?
It definitely is, im glad you mentioned this. That would have been much easier haha
It's better for the video. The press would have take 1 minute to push the pin out. They have 15 min of content cutting and hammering on the pin ! haha
Why not use the press to push pin out instead of all the physical labor
Job done
Ditch that toy IR and go for Big Nasty air hammer for the size of jobs you do there is no replacement for displacement.🍻
We need a tool sponsor haha
Differently a job for a BIGGER hammer (and "hammer time" music 😮
someone needs an air arc gouger.
First 😊😊😊
how much paint do you get through a year
10-25 gallons
@@quintonbartolottaHow many drums of parts wash/hand cleaner😮
Obviously wasn't greased well in previous life
just begs for a thermal lance....
painfull
Whats the un painful way to do it?
The sledge hammer work will shorten your career.
Sketchy, very sketchy.
