Much much different than the Colindale of 25-30 years ago. Spent a summer in an area set up to house American military folks and commuted to a former base located at West Ruislip

A bit like a concrete jungle. Tens of thousands of people living in all those new flats and nobody knows anyone. Rents are out of this world. Glad I don't need to live there!
