I completely agree with this video but here is my personal top five mods for these 10th gen civics (doesn't void warranty edition) 1. PRL CAI 2. Spoon rigid collar 3. Coilovers 4. Sway bar 5. Uhp all season tires (PS4 as or DW's 06+)

the Si factory wheels are actually made by Enkei my artisa elders def weigh less than those. first upgrades i reccomend are Intercooler and Oil catch can. then intake and clutch before tuning. you donbt need the inlet piping unless you plan on going for a bigger turbo in the future.
The intercooler I can see however the intake with a cone filter is greatly dependent on where you live. If you are in a temperate environment, that’s fine. However if you live in a dusty or wet environment, the intake runs the risk of sucking up that dust or hydro locking. Not always but there is that possibility. Also, hot environments are only going to slow down the car with a cone filter as you are letting in a lot more of that air as opposed to the stock intake. Personally, I would stick with stock and maybe swap out the paper filter for a less restrictive one.

I work 40 hours of normal week then plus Friday through Sunday. I'll work all day at Domino's to help pay for car parts and I want to get on D2 Lauren springs but I'm afraid because a lot of these roads are farm roads and dirt roads and you really need a truck and my car already scraped sometimes because of my exhaust and I'm stuck height
my local dealer only had cvt left thus i bought a CVT FK7, dont blame on me :( but the first mod ever i put onto my FK8 was the high flowrate front pipe
Congratulations on the new purchase!! Well, any car looks alot better when you throw some nice wheels on it and lower it, so thats a start. Add a front splitter and maybe a ducktail wing and i'd say you'd be good! Also get the smoked side markers and chrome delete too, looks alot better.

PRL and 27Won are great power adders for these cars. PRL Cobra cold air intake, PRL or 27won intercooler, Ktuner to add tunes, D2 for the springs, and wheels are really subjective lol
A wing will be necessary with bigger wheels and stickier tires. I'm running 18x9.5 +22mm on KR20 semi-slicks...my rear end is kicking out. A big wing is more necessary when you're tracking it and reaching high speeds.

I might be a bit late here but I upgraded to a progress 22.2mm sway bar and it fixes quite a bit of understeer. I'd say it's an absolute must-have when it comes to handling upgrades. The next thing that would further fix the understeer that I've done is stickier tires and/or wider wheels. You can do a 18x9.5 +35mm to +38mm with 235/40 wheels without scrub but it's tight. I have to get a wing now to keep the rear end down in corners.
Nice video, interested in potentially getting a 1.5 Sport or Sport Plus in manual, as unfortunately no SI over here. To everyone saying get a new clutch, is that just if you're planning on launching hard/regularly or even just normal driving over time with some aggressive shifting now and then?
Upgrade the clutch if you're going for alot of power. However, alot of people with stock clutch are fine with an aggressive tune, it just depends how you drive.

Yes! The Ktuner is fantastic. Short ram is fine, a full cold air intake performs better though. If you're in an area that floods alot i'd be careful however.
I'd say its a great successor to the 10th gen. They smoothed out the body lines, gave it some better handling and all around refined the 10th gen. Ironically i'm still more of a fan of the 10th gen, but the FE1 is a great car none the less.
Any amount of extra boost will hinder the life of the motor, but it really comes down to how much you add. Someone hit 200k on their Si with a TSP Stage 1 tune they have had since 5k.. if you're running 26+ psi for awhile though it can definitely wear the motor out faster.
You can tune without mods yes, a basemap tune from the Ktuner itself will work, adding an intake will help it breath in more air though and an intercooler will help with the heat soak issues you'll have. Premium is highly recommended.
I have the 2.0 Sport which comes NA i feel that the Sport trims get screwed out of most mods as no one makes kits or anything really for the 2.0 and the Si having a different engine really ruins the sport model being able to use parts from the Si. If anyone know any companies that make kits for the fc2 honda that would be greatly appreciated as that fact really ruined a crucial part of the car for me. If you were thinking about getting the civic Sport 2.0 NA get the hatchback to avoid my issues. great video! keep it up
Yes, the N/A 2.0 is unfortunately the outcast engine.. and just like you said, its because the 1.5t's outshine it. Either way, you can still tune them, add exhaust, intake, etc. I'm pretty sure you can boost them! Don't let it discourage you, you can take that engine and be unique with it. Best of luck!
I hate the rear spoiler, very ricer look.. but you do have actual performance mods at least. I have a turbo model, that's good enough for me. I have some Eibach pro-kit springs ready to install, planning on some 18" Enkei rims, debadged/blacked out emblems, a few other little things, all just appearance for a cleaner look. What are your rim specs?

@@durags_4905 Not the accords just the Civics. The Accords are a bit different as they can either have the 1.5 turbo or 2.0 turbo depending on the trim.
Suspension, motor, transmission. Suspension is better on the Si since it has the adaptive dampers. The motor has a better turbo and a different tune along with better internals. The transmission is also a bit different as well

No rush but where did you get your front splitter? also how did you take the mesh off infront of your intercooler?
I bought it from someone actually, it's from Street Aero but sadly has been discontinued. I cut out the mesh with a little hand saw lol

Just getting into cars allot how do u tune ur car?
Buy a Ktuner, hook it up to the car, use a laptop to lock it to the ECU, then upload a tune through the laptop. It reflashes the ECU with the tune.

What kind of clutch?
I'm on stock clutch, but ACT makes great clutches and the RV6 Type-R retrofit clutch is fantastic as well..
I hate the rear spoiler, very ricer look.. but you do have actual performance mods at least. I have a turbo model, that's good enough for me. I have some Eibach pro-kit springs ready to install, planning on some 18" Enkei rims, debadged/blacked out emblems, a few other little things, all just appearance for a cleaner look. What are your rim specs?
The wing is fully functional and is meant for the build. I respect your opinion, but its not for show.

@@durags_4905 Not the accords just the Civics. The Accords are a bit different as they can either have the 1.5 turbo or 2.0 turbo depending on the trim.

Suspension, motor, transmission.
Suspension is better on the Si since it has the adaptive dampers. The motor has a better turbo and a different tune along with better internals. The transmission is also a bit different as well
