Lol feel free to stay out of touch. You just have to look at the math things are not as affordable now as they were back then. Also the world is completely different you can't just send your kids to school and they will thrive at some factory job. You need to be able to provide your kids with tons of opportunities to make them better than their peers to get ahead and afford a good life nowadays. That means paying for extra schooling extra curriculars paying for private school ect...

Didn't they try that on January 6th? And they called it an insurrection. An insurrection without guns or any sort of organisation. Lots of what I saw looked more like a drunken frat party. And just like I figured, the government had people there posing as maga just to bring Trump, as well as the whole movement down, and demonize half the country. The truth is starting to finally come out and Senate hearings but you won't see that shit on TV. Think about it for a minute. Agents employed by government agencies with your tax dollars posed as MAGA supporters with the help of antifa and other radical factions descended upon our capital and intentionally instigated all this madness for nothing more than a photo op. And I'm Senate hearings the head of the FBI would neither confirm nor deny the presence of any FBI agents or assets. Extra security was declined. It is alleged by a guy named Rund that he called Nancy Pelosi three different times. She denies ever receiving a phone call. This guy seemed to be the only one who would give direct straight answers to questions in these hearings. He said something to the effect like we are having our asses handed to us. I believe he may have been a DC cop. I'm not sure which video it was on, but he has something to do with security either in DC or Congress.

By changing meanings of words and phrases ignoring English, math, science , biology and history and creating classifications with multiple genders gives them some sort of platform and ammunition to fight with which causes division, hatred and chaos. Using the media outlets to promote this propaganda only fuels the fire and nurtures the seeds they plant ultimately brainwashing people 24/7 365 To believe in rumors and lies against Trump and his administration. What children? The new feminism even shuns having children. My niece is getting married in 2027. She's an accomplished woman, her fiance is also working with very good income. Now, she waits 2 yrs for the wedding in order for her to be able to get the most lavish gown and venue (my sister and brother-in-law are actually the payors), which by that time, she would be 30, but also she already said they're not going to have a child. For what is all the wealth between her and her husband then? Then her younger sister said the same thing - though she hasn't had a specific man she's going to marry at this time. I'm sad to hear that.

Not arguing that this administration royally screwed things up...but...too many people don't realize (or have conveniently forgotten) that people didn't have as much during those days of milk and honey. And we were satisfied with less. People were lucky to have 1 used car and 1 TV. We got 1 or 2 presents at Christmas or on our birthday. There was 1 phone in the house and 1 bathroom. Lots of kids didn't have a bike, and most people didn't expect to start out with a new (or big) house. A lot of kids wore hand-me-down clothes, and a lot of meals had little or no meat...and eating out at a restaurant was a biannual event. People did without, and a lot of people didn't even have a credit card. Pat is nostalgicly rewriting history.

How quickly people think they are entitled to what used to be the luxuries of life. Not to mention the view of most twenty somethings and down that they will always be in debt so why not splurge today. The mindset between then and now is completely reversed, you can't do the opposite and expect the same outcome.

Part of the issue is all the activities that exists now compared to the past. People are deciding to have less kids so they can afford to spend money on the opportunities available. Traveling with 2 kids is reasonable, as a family can make a single hotel room work with a standard car. Traveling with 4-6 kids is becomes very problematic due to multiple hotel rooms and rental vehicles to fit more are much more costly. In my estimation, people could afford more kids, but they don’t want the limits presented by more.

Um. The beaches and hotels aren't new opportunities. People aren't avoiding kids because of how many seats are in thier mini van. They cant afford to have kids. Men's fertility is dropping rapidly around the world. There is an epidemic of kids being born with health problems. And the list goes on..What are all of these new activities you mentioned? Faster wifi? The new iPhone? $300 sneakers? $70,000 cars that are defective before they leave the auto plant? What opportunity? Being molested by TSA and crammed into a flying sardine box with mentally ill people? If you aren't paying attention the world is worse now than it was by almost any metric. Sure you can find a statistic to support any view. But if ask anyone if things are better they are lying, brainwashed or in shock or denial..

it's less about the Wars and more about accounting. The Western GDP malaise we are in (and have been since 2007) wouldve occured in the 1980s had women not been sent to work. The 1980s boom was because we sent women to work (more gdp, more taxes) but this meant a day care market was established (more gdp, more taxes) elders had to go to nursing homes (more gdp, more taxes).... compound that ovr 10yrs and you get a boom, compound this over 50yrs and you get bottoming birthrates, high debt and housing prices that now REQUIRE dual incomes to buy a shack next to a Dump.

Divorce laws against men needs to change as well. Child support should be capped instead of a percentage. Both parents need to split everything 50/50. It’s disgusting how the system treats fathers who actually want to be apart of their childrens lives

Hm… Korean War, Vietnam War…?!? All happened on that time frame. 1 income families.
I don’t disagree with PBD… and there was little to no:
    Eating out
    Tech Spend
    Ongoing monthly expenses
Schools were mostly free and good
Also, 1 car, typically 1 TV, very little clothes. Very little vacations or very frugal vacations. I’m saying some of that could be there was way less opportunity to spend money.

I believe myself that the reason why we cannot have the life that we used to is because nobody really teaches us how to save money
And that really has a lot to do with our financial problems these years
I found $200 in my pants that I hadn’t seen in six months and somehow I still managed to survive without those $200 that I needed for that week so that showed me a lot about saving money and the economy

And then even after our wars are funded we turn around and pay the people we were fighting billions for fighting them in the furst place. But the thing is this is where millions go missing and is never spoken for but somhow we have politicians that dont make enough to be millionaires but end up being billionaires

We have to fund higher taxes and inflation. Plus pension funds (Government and company's), Workman Compensation, union dues,
employment insurance, income tax, properity tax, hidden taxes in gas and products, Good and Service tax, Carbon tax, car payment, car repair and maintenance, clothes, school supplies and fees, insurances (car health and house), rent or mortgage, food, electricity, water and sewage, nursery school, and if one goes to church they want 10% tithe of gross income.
