Your channel is really good! I love your humor and editing and acting too! Plus you do a better job explaining concepts in less time than other ones I've watched.
In English we have canteen and cantina. A canteen would be a place on a boat or train where you can eat but a cantina is a proper restaurant. I think it comes to English through Spanish.
I thought you might like to know that when you make the 'look' gesture with your fingers, the way you are doing it in this clip is considered impolite in british society (you can google it for the explanation). May I recommend that you turn your hand around the other way (palm facing outwards) to avoid offence or misunderstandings. I really hope you don't mind my telling you this, I am learning from you and I wanted to pass something to you. Thank you for your excellent content.
It would be great to see traditional characters as well as simplified. Those of us learning Mandarin to use in Taiwan or various international communities would really benefit from that. Thanks!
when first started studying Chinese I used to get confused why I can't use 不有 because in my family's dialect we would say it using that word instead of 没有. Thanks for the video!
Hi! Great video for me - just finishing HSK 1. I think I found a minor mispelling @7:00: In the pinyin for 为什么你要学汉语呢 you write "kan yu ne" in the end. Should be "han yu ne", I suppose.
The biggest difficulty in trying to understand Mandarin is that too many of the words (as well as syllables, such as the virtually identical "ci,si,zi" group, for example) sound the same. This, combined with my inability to both hear and say the tones, has prevented me from learning Mandarin.
Or simply you weren't motivated enough, which is totally ok. However, if you want to try again, I suggest you watching Grace mandarin Chinese channel on youtube, she explains greatly the difference between q ch j zh and friends!
Как здорово! Я пытаюсь понять английский, потому что китайский знаю лучше) Но он всё равно не так хорош. Хотела у тебя получится , мне нравиться как ты ведёшь урок. Знаю китайский на среднем уровне. Было бы хорошо, если бы ты смогла говорить по-русски ))
Sorry but could you give me an example of 没有 and 没? Because I still don't understand about what you say if use 没有 when you happy and 没 when you are not happy. Thank you waiting for your reply :')
Wait 没有 and 没 are the same except for the mood? So I can also just say "我没孩子" if I'm not happy about it? I feel like I'm getting this wrong. The 有 in 没有 means "to have" right? Wouldn't I just be saying "I don't children" then?
I was joking about that, when I say “if you are happy…” I just mean you can say whatever you want, 没有 and 没 are completely the same. (It’s the same as if I say: if it’s raining, you use 没, if it’s not raining, use 没有)
Yes, the correct sentence should be 我昨天没有回家,but that one was understandable, just weird for speaking out. However in writing, that sentence was definitely wrong.
This is actually a very interesting question. I thought it over and found that we seldom use “十分” in front of one-character adjectives, like “十分好” or “十分美”, instead we say “很好/非常好”, “很美/非常美”. But we can say “十分漂亮”,“十分优美” for two-character adjectives. And “十分” is often used in written Chinese.
For someone anyone who studied Spanish, zhī dào is like saber and rèn shi is like conocer. They have exactly the same meanings.
Yessss, I've always felt like English is missing out on this haha
Efectivamente
The same can be said for German speakers, where 知道 is like wissen, and 認識 is like kennen.
same in French too (savoir and connaître), I feel like there's only a few languages like English who don't make this difference.
OMG THANK U SO MUCH
You explain EVERYTHING so well. i wish you were my teacher!!!
I like translating 知道 as to know of and 认识 as to know.
In Spanish, to know of is saber and to know is conocer.
Your channel is really good! I love your humor and editing and acting too! Plus you do a better job explaining concepts in less time than other ones I've watched.
I love the detail and explanations you go into - really helpful. Thank you. I wish I'd found you much earlier.

Agradezco haber encontrado este canal. Y si, tiene razón, su canal es really good.
I am very very new but this helped me clarify some of the words I've run into so far.
Can you make these videos for higher HSK levels please :) that would be great
Absolutely informative.很好老师。谢您了。
Once again some ambiguities have been cleared up, thank you for that.

its not relevant, she was making a gesture to describe the action. you are taking it out of context and putting it in a different context
Thank you for your videos

In Swedish we also differentiate between the meaning of 知道 and 认识
我知道 = Jag vet
我认识你 = Jag känner dig
This video is very helpful. Thank you!

你真像一个霸道地辣椒。我喜欢你的教法得很。值得点个赞。现在我没有云里雾里了。谢谢老师
你真像一个霸道的辣椒,我很喜欢你的教法。
"不" 也可以用在过去。有主观和客观上的不同。
A:小王昨天怎么没来?
B:我跟他说了,他不来,我也没办法。
我做了饭,他没吃。 vs 我做了饭,他不吃。

Hello, thanks for your videos
I have a question
jīn tiān wǎn shàng = tonight?
No other small word in Chinese for tonight? 😅
You can just say 今晚 - jīn wǎn
Also:
Last night = 昨天晚上 you can just say 昨晚 Zuó wǎn
Thank you so much for your videos, you're so easy to understand!
Hey! I enjoy your videos. Can you make videos on HSK4

I have gone for so long not studying Chinese that I feel like a beginner again.
What means "mei neeeeeeeee!"?

What's the different between 是 and 在, some one can explain me?
I think 不also can be used in past tense. For example 以前台湾不允许大陆人到台湾。

what about :餐馆 ,旅馆
I heard my friend say 我昨天不回家, well.... The 不 wasn't meaning future, instead it meant the past right?
Yes, the correct sentence should be 我昨天没有回家,but that one was understandable, just weird for speaking out. However in writing, that sentence was definitely wrong.
You are so cute 😊
In my other material the x is always pronounced in another way
She has a bit of a southern accent 😊 Southerners say x like "s" and Northerners say "x" like "sh".
