Im very happy to have stumbled upon this. For me this is probably one of your most important podcast. Malice is wrong on anarchy. I like him a lot but he evades a lot and his definition of anarchy is incorrect. Anarchy does not mean voluntary, it means an absence of government. The thing he evaded with his private governance is that the examples he gave are all supported by government in regard to property rights. A good government is one which defends rights by punishing infringements of them(wrongs). Government is the entity in a given area with the monopoly on the use of force. Rights are inherent, inalienable, self-assertive moral principles that it is RIGHT for each individual to use their liberty and WRONG for any individual or group especially government to infringe on any individual’s liberty. Liberty is the individual’s ABILITY to think and to act. Freedom is when society respects liberty and rights. It is absolutely true that no totally good government has ever existed. That is undebatable. But airplanes did not exist until a little more than 100 years ago. And they weren’t perfect upon their invention, they still improve to this day. The point is that things that haven’t been realized as of yet are potentially possible so long as they are grounded in reality. Yo Lex , having Michael and Yaron with their humor is making you make jokes and witty remarks. This is interesting to watch as well. Not only serious talks.

I watched it completely. Took me almost 7 hours with some breaks in between. Was definitely worth the time. Got to learn so many new perspectives about Anarchism, authoritarianism, Ayn Rand, and her work. Thanks lex for bringing these two together on the same platform.
3:19:00 I laughed heartily at the adorable clear father/son relationship that manifested at this specific point; Michael going at it like "Haha, you just said poop!" and Yaron like a true mature patriarch responding "Yes, yes, it was funny, but that's enough now.".
Christian humility, from a biblical perspective, is not about putting you down but about assessing yourself with a sober mindset. “Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought.”
Thanks for this statement. Yaron over-compensating for his self-hate that he blames on his mother. (And such a sycophant for Rand.) Abraham had faith - possibly because Isaac was born when both Abraham & Sarah were too old. Yaron must be unaware of the redemption of the firstborn and rejects the *self* sacrifice and diety of Jesus.
Lex, fantastic podcast brining Michael & Yaron together. Yaron is the first person to intellectually challenge Michael on his philosophical position in a honest & realistic approach.
These three together are incredibly entertaining. I feel so blessed to have access to amazing conversations such as this one. This was not just three people agreeing with each other on everything, this was a conversation full of intelligent discussions and insightful information. I was forced to think for myself on this one and as a young person I'm eternally grateful to have received the valuable advice these men provide. Next two books on the list are Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged!
When he said in order to be able to say "I love you", you need to be able to say "I". That really hit me. Suddenly all my previously failed relationships made sense.

edit: Malice ribbing Lex about love is hysterical.
Not sure if evolution is conscious though.
please defend YB as one of your favourites. He's not even cute
@@Tehcarp Yaron's an interesting guy to listen to. I'm not even close to being an Objectivist, but I appreciate his dedication to his philosophy. I don't agree with much of what Sam Harris says either, but that doesn't stop me from listening to him. And Yaron is a little bit cute for a boomer. :P
I was peeked by you saying favourite.
The fact lex's podcasts are so regularly available, the fact theyre so long and full of information and thought along with the brilliant host and guests makes it one of the best learning tools on the internet. What i need is a Lex and Bret Weinstein 5 hour special. Or Brian Green hes a brilliant and inspired speaker of science.
Brian Green on Rogan was INCREDIBLE! I love those discussions about the universe and he's one of the best no doubt. I disagree with Brian Cox politically but man did he spit flames similar to Green on Rogan. Would be awesome for Lex to have them!
It is a testament to our times, the fact that this video doesn’t have millions and millions of views yet. One of the greatest conversations ever in my estimate.
Malice played a big role in making me a voluntaryist, this was great!
@@willepiot2726 both induction and deduction are valid forms of knowledge. Induction allows us to use reason to form concepts based off of reality. Deduction allows us to use reason to integrate concepts into reality. For example we can induce the theory of evolution, and we can also deduce certain species and classify them. Also just a disclaimer I am in no way an expert and this is just how I understand human nature.
"Holy spaceballs bat man!" That was one of the most interesting conversations I've heard for a while. Thanks Lex for introducing me to Mr. Brooke.
If you find Brook interesting, I HIGHLY recommend The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged (as a start).
I should add that the versions of both on Audible are outstanding.
I hope lex never goes to Spotify - definitely the best podcast available
Omg yes
spotify really isnt that bad
Don't fool yourself, Lex. You're the bread of this sandwich
Empirically, that could at best create an open faced sandwich. It's far more likely that he is the doctor's sausage, while Yaron and Michael are toasted sourdough heels.
Isn't that kind of the premise of any interview?
Not the cream in the coffee? :)
Lex definitely doesn't like anarchocapitalism. He's definitely a big government commie. Especially his russian roots. And he dresses like a kgb agent lmao.
Give Lex more credit. He's not an ingredient, he's the sandwich assembler, and a fine one at that.
Hey Lex. My wife purchased a box of cereal that cost 50 dollars. I was irate until she said that it was to support your podcast. I've purchased books writen by your guest and recommendations that are suggested. I've also listened to most of your podcasts. Anyways I support my wife supporting a podcast I love. But screw you Lex what am I going to do with the cereal? ... haha nothing but love my Russian brother.
@@albertoceccato7164 Well thank you. I didn't understand that all. Award to Mr. Freacking obvious goes to Alberto.
Lol, I feel the love, David. Buying stuff from the sponsors is actually the best way to support this podcast. So I'm deeply thankful for that. My recommendation is to eat that delicious, keto-friendly Magic Spoon cereal and know that I'm there with you in spirit. One day we shall feast together 👊
@@lexfridman thank you for the reply. Made my day. Keep up the fantastic content and wish you love in your future projects. Very brave of you to step outside the box in conversation. Especially with your credentials. We salute you brother.
I think Yaron Brook is one of the few people that can shake the foundations of Michael Malice's anarchy viewpoints. :) Thank you, Lex! This conversation was very interesting!
Yaron: "Are you married?"
Lex: "No but we all want to have sex with our mother..."
😂dead

Yo Lex , having Michael and Yaron with their humor is making you make jokes and witty remarks. This is interesting to watch as well. Not only serious talks.
IMO this is one of the best intellectual talk shows ever. Keep up the good work Lex.
MIchael: "This german shepherd was 3 times my size, but I've overcome that fear now that he's only twice my size."
Yaron: "Don't have sex with kids."
Michael: "I'll stop immediately."
WTF!!! LMAO Malice is so GD stupid in a good way.
Well, dark humour is like food, not everyone gets it.
@@thememaster7 I thought you were gonna say dark humor is like food, the west consumes to much of it.
@@a1b1c184 both those were good
This was such a blast. The personalities aren't opposites, they're all complementary like a 3 piece jigsaw puzzle.
Michael Malice is a National Treasure.... This world needs more Malice👽👽👽 Your Welcome!🤙
A 4 1/2 hour podcast? This is exactly what I need to get through some projects
Man, as soon as you say "The following..." I hit that like. There's something awkward and strangely natural at the same time with you.
All the best, Lex!
4 and a half hours holy shit. This is amazing.
Never saw a debate this good when I was in university.
but they are children
Becuase one side actively trys to shut down opposing viewpoints. There is no more debate in university, its one side screaming down another.

Wow, watched the whole thing with only one interruptions! Thank you Lex, and Michael and Yaron!
Malice teasing Lex is one of my favorite things to watch
Super cool, witty, blunt and loving uncle-like figure(for me atleast, based on his interactions with Lex)
Time stamp please
You should have Dave Smith on! He was just on Rogan's podcast and I think you two would have a really interesting conversation.
Dave Smith is the man, should absolutely run for President
He's always on Malice's show
@@jackjurphy5020 💯💯💯
@@cjtrickstar6060 Yeah those Dave Smith/Malice crossover episodes this past year have been awesome!
Agreed
Michael is so quick. Freaking hilarious.

Lex: "Hold my WD40"
Hell yeah
Is it just me or does Michael Malice look like Ayn Rand?
I’ll never be able to not see this now. Thanks 😜
Is it just me or does Michael Malice look like A LESS ATTRACTIVE Ayn Rand? Fixed it for you.
You win today, my friend😂
Secret love child? 😅
This is one of the best podcast episodes I’ve ever listened to. Very thoughtful and thought provoking. Even entertaining.
This needs to be it’s own separate weekly/monthly podcast.
i just realized that ayn rand was NEVER part of any reading list in public school. like i maybe heard her name twice in 20 years
I heard her name cuz of the band Rush. Their big long song 2112 is largely inspired thematically by the fountainhead. When I heard that I got interested n I read it. I was 12 when I read it and I won't lie it's crazy fuckin boring for a preteen but read it again recently n it's a good read. And not only after reading the fountainhead did I realise that the drummer, the guy that wrote the lyrics, had loads of objectivist Randian ideas, especially in their earlier work when he joined.
Public (government) school is a wasteland of socialist indoctrination. It was that way when you were a kid and it's even worse today. Intellectual stimulation does not happen there.
Holy crap, this is gonna be 4 hrs of delicious dialog
Oh so good! This is fabulous!
Quite surprising that Yaron did not understand that Anarchism = Voluntaryism.
There’s so much to digest will have to return
@@willepiot2726 A voluntarily funded state (for example, proposals for privately run cities) are examples of anarchy. Anarchy does not mean “no rules”, but rather no (coercive) ruler.
I had no idea we would reach DMT and machine elves that fast
Lex learning from Joe Rogan
DMT elves.
Yeah that got weird quick.

Love that type of humour.
This is one of my favorite episodes of any podcast I've ever watched. Find myself pausing it frequently to mull over all the excellent points being made.
I watched it completely. Took me almost 7 hours with some breaks in between. Was definitely worth the time. Got to learn so many new perspectives about Anarchism, authoritarianism, Ayn Rand, and her work. Thanks lex for bringing these two together on the same platform.
Im really enjoy listening to these types of convos at work
I love living in a reality where we can listen to these wonderful conversations!
3:19:00 I laughed heartily at the adorable clear father/son relationship that manifested at this specific point; Michael going at it like "Haha, you just said poop!" and Yaron like a true mature patriarch responding "Yes, yes, it was funny, but that's enough now.".
This is probably my favorite trio ever.
Christian humility, from a biblical perspective, is not about putting you down but about assessing yourself with a sober mindset. “Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought.”
Yeah but God bad
When Brook said there’s no guilt in the Old Testament he signaled his Christianity takes come from no honest study whatsoever.
@@jackwilkie1470 Exactly. It's like the whole sacrificial system doesn't exist.
@@johnsteven7437 Right, literal "Guilt offerings" are in the plan. How he missed Psalm 51 is baffling too.
Thanks for this statement. Yaron over-compensating for his self-hate that he blames on his mother. (And such a sycophant for Rand.)
Abraham had faith - possibly because Isaac was born when both Abraham & Sarah were too old.
Yaron must be unaware of the redemption of the firstborn and rejects the *self* sacrifice and diety of Jesus.
dont think iv ever seen yaron laugh so much absolutely wonderful
Does anyone else watch this podcast, enjoying it while high?
Yes sir, yes sir
This is the best anarchism discussion Malice ever had against someone. Great guy to compete with him
I love watching Michael's facial expressions. Also love this format. Love this podcast in general, thanks.
late to the party, but this is hands down the greatest single episode of a podcast i've ever heard. lex is crushing it

Awesome podcast, great job bringing Yaron and Malice back.
Damn that was great, 4 hours long and held my attention right through the whole thing. Absolute banger, would listen again.
Never got Lex’s podcast in my feed until I saw him on Rogan a few months ago. His shows should be in everyone’s feed. This show was excellent.
4h with Lex and Michael is always a treat!
Lex, fantastic podcast brining Michael & Yaron together. Yaron is the first person to intellectually challenge Michael on his philosophical position in a honest & realistic approach.
Thanks!
Wow, this is like a surprise present from life.
Next two books on the list are Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged!

fountainhead first, i'm almost done with it. if you need the pdf let me know
