- Like Avatar: The Last Airbender, the debate surrounding The Legend of Korra's status as an anime (or not) will forever be a point of contention in the fandom - Korra, Tenzin, Kai, Ikki, Meelo, Mako, Bolin, Asami, Lin Beifong, and the rest of the gang sure do have a tendency to go full anime at times!
